Both Gamebanana and Nexus Mods banned the bigger bust Yukari mod due to her being "16 years old".
This is obviously stupid on account of it being a fictional character who's never been born and will never age, and the game itself already sexualizes Yukari with fetish costumes.
Its just, when I look at what alternative modding sites host mods like this, they all contain bigoted shit. Is there a modding site that's normal about fictional characters that isn't filled with racists, homophobes, and transphobes? The truth is that any site hosting a large amount of mods would use a ton on bandwith, which is still relatively expensive. So if you want to make a modding side you either need to fund this yourself which costs a ton of money (and you're unlikely to get much in return), or you need to appeal to advertisers to fund the site. There aren't many companies who are willing to put ads on a site they deem to be morally questionable, and those that are willing aren't likely to pay top dollar. It's one of the main reasons why Ganker has never been profitable, for example.
In addition to this, the money you do get will have to go through banks and credit card companies. If those refuse to cooperate, you're still fricked even if you are getting funding. I think many people don't realize this but credit card companies have a ridiculous amount of influence over major websites. This influence i, for example, why Pornhub nuked 90% of its own site a few years ago, because they were pressured by credit card companies who froze their accounts until they verified every video and removed all non-verified content.
People act like sites like Nexus are banning mods because they're "woke" and while that may very well be true, that's only a small part of why they operate this way. The alternative to aggressively sanitizing your site is funding everything out of pocket, which not many people are able/willing to do.
