I have said it before and I will say it again: the Niijima sisters are fiiine as hell. Makoto remade my brain circuitry single handedly to think motorcycles are based where before I met her I thought them cringe. Also for once it feels nice to stan the most popular girl in a franchise instead of a secondary character who doesn't get too much fan art or fanfiction.
P5 is very good. Great characters, gameplay, music, and content loop. The story is only okay but all of the other Persona stories are equally middling (I haven't played 2 but I heard that story was actually good). Royal version is a bit too easy, but vanilla is missing a ton of the good QoL. It's deserving of the praise it gets. Whether or not it's "best RPG ever" material depends heavily on who you ask (more so than FF7), but it's my personal top 5 for sure.
