>Asset recycling.
Every company with at least 1 game under their belt will asset recycle. No exceptions.
There's also no good reason not to, since it saves time, money and players don't even notice 99% of it. Even when they do, it doesn't even matter since only spergs flip out about it.
>a female protagonist, hopefully
Target audience is mostly male, makes no sense to have a female protag.
Even in games where people are extremely loud about how they think a female protag option is the best like in the Mass Effect series, only 18% played as female Shepard.
Atlus would probably also use games like Soul Hackers 2 as reason for not having a female protag (despite Ringo being one of the best female protags in videogame history)
Ringo was effectively a non-human that was given her appearance for visual appeal, both in and out of universe. I like Ringo but when you think about it, not sure if it counts as a female protag.
I was more surprised they let Milady frick.
And she doesnt fall in love with Ringo or Arrow or anything.
>“Honestly, to put that [female character] option into the game, we’d have to cut out other things to compensate for the workload, and every time that’s the situation we’ll basically say, ‘it’s not worth it,’” Hashino said.
It probably won't happen, their series that sells millions cannot afford to. It's better to stop playing Persona tbh.
Accurate leakers have said that its semi open world and will let you pick gender from the start. Plus its a bigger game compared to 3 to 5 that will have a bunch of story content dlc through out the year.
Hopefully something new done with the calendar and social links. Port P4 to the p5 engine and lets try some new gameplay. Make it a fricking GTAO clone or something.
I wish it would focus more on an overall plot instead of episodic mini-stories that barely cobble together a single narrative. I won't get that, of course, JRPGs have drastically shifted towards character interactions.
The newer Persona series always seem to shit the bed at the end game.
No good way to wrap up that Jungian shadow work or social commentary theme neatly so a final boss always feels like an asspull since its never really built up as much as the characters are.
Might be one of the cases where they need to heavily depart from SMT mainline and not hamfist a large scale apocalypse.
>Might be one of the cases where they need to heavily depart from SMT mainline and not hamfist a large scale apocalypse.
In fairness SMT has the exact same problem where the big route choice that determines the finale basically negates everything that happened before that point.
Lots of yadda yadda parasocial shit and regular metagen dungeon crawling
not an rpg
A new uptick in gay erp circles on discord
Quality downgrade because it's not even being made by most of the developers of 3-5. It will still sell a lot though
>it's not even being made by most of the developers of 3-5.
Wow so there's a chance it might actually be good
That they will sell Persona 6 Crimson two years after P6, for a full price instead of a big expansion.
Asset recycling.
Asset recycling from the SNES era.

I hope not. I want personatards to screech to high heaven that they are yet again unable to play as a female or romance dudes.
No FeMC in Reload (not even as DLC) proves that its probably never happening again.

you have to go back

I'm so tired of SMT
A low-budget cashgrab Atlus will release when they need to launder more money

I'll wait for the re-release before buying
A high school age, male MC who can date a older, teacher character and have a positive portrayal of cops and law enforcement. At least one can hope.

Same shit in the vein of Persona 5 Royal and Persona 3 Reload, but more polished.
I just wish they'd move away from the school stuff, or at least set it in University or something at least so it's a bit different.
teen pregnancy

You'll be in highschool
It'll have one arcing theme throughout the story.
And you will get new teammates with each dungeon.
I'm going to go on a limb and say all 3 will be true.
The game being jank on launch and dragged out for two console generations before it's updated and fixed and finally released on PC
An elementary school setting with e-girl cat girls.
Two protagonists.
