Peter Molyneux teasing new IP from 22Cans

>"So, back in the day, I would tell you all about the game and all the game design and why it was going to be the most brilliant game in the world," Molyneux admits first of the secret project 22cans has in the oven. for a long time, "and people who see this would be very angry and upset. So I'm not going to do that."

>"However, I think," he concedes, "that we've stumbled, and it feels like we've stumbled upon mechanics that have never been seen in a game before . I think we're exploiting that mechanic in a world and environment that can be familiar to people. And because it's in a familiar environment, it's going to be a lot cooler. And a lot of it sounds very mystical because I'm trying to avoid telling you what it's like. But it's going to be a lot more of a Fable - Black and White type of experience. - Dungeon Keeper."

>"I'm so tempted to show you the presentation video we've put together..." Molyneux bites his tongue when asked about the status of the project, "but that would be going down the slide to start telling everyone about it," he adds. when we invited him to show us the 'off the record' project.

>"The only thing I can tell you," he concludes, "is that, firstly, this game is the first one I've worked on as a programmer since Black & White, which makes it very special to me. And secondly, it's been evolving and we've been exploring ideas about it for almost five years. So, it's very, very close to my heart. (...) Every part of me wants to tell you everything. But that would be stupid."

Exactly why he might actually pull it off again, on top of that zoomers dont have the sense to see its shortcomings, and would be too apathetic to care. Vermin dragging everything down.

I think him and Chris Roberts should be forced to fight to the death with rusty spoons and whoever wins gets a bullet between the eyes then their body fed to Tim Sweeney (who then gets buried under 500 tons of concrete).

I won't talk about, but it's revolutionary and never before seen in this world. It's top secret however, not a word about it.

In 2023, the anons had lost hope. Nothing but remakes as far as the eye could see.

Some asked where the original games were, thinking fondly on the past where such occurrences were common. Surely one of those developers were still around.

    But war never changes.

Lol I know someone who works in 22 Cans. He's a 3D Modeller. Was only just out drinking with him last night. He told me the next game is currently called "Brew" and it's basically a GOD sim that is also a third person adventure. So POV is like black and white and then you can get into the world like Fable. But my mate tells me that it's nothing amazing. Just standard stuff to keep 22s head above water.

    >Peter Molyneux
I like him. I like how he makes everyone mad, I like how even the journos are mad and I like how his still exited about games. I like how he never gives up. I think his head is in the clouds all the time and that is why he overpromises like a bad habit, and I feel that's relatable. I saw some interview and he clearly loves games and knows how hard developing them is and how finishing a game doesn't guarantee success. So he does what his best at. Shilling. But mostly I like him cause he makes journos mad.
