>PS5 entering the latter stage of it's life cycle
Isn't the PS4 still receiving games?
yeah
Remind me again why consoles are still a thing? The resolution constantly drops. They are literally AMD PCs derived from the AMD Jaguar as was the case with the PS4 and Zen 2 with the PS5.
Yes. Of what I consider some major releases so far this year: >Like a Dragon 8 >Persona 3 Reload >Granblue Fantasy Relink
are on PS4 >Tekken 8 >Helldivers 2
are on PS5 only
completely fricking ridiculous for there to be any significant desire to push for a PS6 right now when most people haven't even transferred out of the PS4 yet but truthfully I do think consoles might just become akin to graphics cards where they release a new one every couple of years and "console generations" stop becoming a thing
Why do you moron keep posting this like it's a bad thing? We are 4 years into this console generation which means we are entering the 2nd half of the generation. Do you expect Sony to support the PS5 for 10+ years?
Most gamers and zoomers spend half their time watching their favourite streamers play sloppa and they all use gaming pcs. Its only a matter of time really. Kids are asking their parents for cool desktops for Christmas, not consoles
As someone who owned the first four Playstations, I have felt zero urge whatsoever to get a PS5. There's just nothing on it. Even the small handful of worthwhile exclusives will be on PC anyways.
I have no idea why Sony invested so little into the library. I guess they became complacent after the PS4's success.
It just hasn't felt like that long because there's been so few games.
People joked about the PS3 not having any games but the PS5 legit has like 1/10th the library of the PS3.
Rough week for Sonybros
All that gloating last few years, too
yet another win for microsoft
*le sigh*
ps6 time hell yeah
meaning latter half, we've known for a while this gen would last until 2028...
Whats some of your favorite exclusive PS5 games you can't play anywhere else but exclusively on the Sony console?

I agree I think next gen will be the last gen. After that all that will be left is PC and a Nintendo Hybrid console

They supported the ps4 for 10 years
We're still in the PS4 era.
Sony's needs aren't being satisfied enough, sissies...
It just came out
WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE LATTER STAGES?
Me as of 2 days ago:
>hmm think ill keep holding on until I get a ps5, it hasn't peaked yet and the real next gen games will be from now on
A-at least we still have Sucker Punch's weeb game!
so where are the fricking games ? GOW 2 ? for frick sake
Does this mean the latter stage will finally bring in the games?
Lol I still play on ps4. Guess I never missed out on games
Its embarrassing, 4 years and not a single reason to upgrade
>Last half of a seven year gen
Bad day for Xjeets.

Isn't PS5 like 5 years old now? No shit it's entering the latter half of life cycle.
It just hasn't felt like that long because there's been so few games.

Bro where are the games?
>activate BB-2 plan
I keep forgetting the PS5 is even a thing. I still see new PS4 games in stores.
it always fell like the next gen hasn't started and they're already in their end life wtf.
what will sony do without it videogames divition?
>finally start announcing games
>also announce PS5 is almost over
this whole gen feels like a joke.
