the skilltree is shittier, the dlc only has one ending, and if you try to deviate on the DLC at all it just kicks you out
shittier than:
>+2.5% damage for sub machine guns when behind cover
>+1.7% more accuracy, etc.
skilltrees where pretty nothing last i played
>Skill trees are shittier
The old ones were so unballanced and i remember doing millions of damage with a sniper / pistol build and 1 shot everything in the game including all psyberphycos and smasher. New ones are ballanced and make it so you actually play the game and suddenly people are saying the combat is good...
>f you try to deviate on the DLC at all it just kicks you out
you making shit up, you can do some quests in dogtown and frick off and do mainstory with no problem.
(OP) its really good, just enjoy the Kino.
>the dlc only has one ending
The frick, it has 4
>YOU GONNA DRINK THE VODKA RIGHT NOW FRANK?
>IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY?
It's a pretty good DLC, new area is good, new weapons and characters are good and you unlock the sixth perk tree and get some cool, albeit OP abilities.
I can't speak on the changes you're asking about since I played on launch then just recently played PL, though. Game's much better now just from them reworking the perk system.
The devs watched Escape From New York and Casino Royale and tried to bash them together to mixed results
The gigs are way better but the rest is pretty whatever
>The gigs are way better but the rest is pretty whatever
The level design is much better as well, way more verticality
New area, new villain, new soundtrack, new gigs. These things are all kino material. Story is a mixed bag, didn’t really love it. The DLC is definitely worth it though.
a hollywood blockbuster disguised as a game
The police actually works as intended now. And Adam Smasher is no longer a joke.
There's a boss encounter right near the beginning that is an absolute motherfricker.
I loved that fight, I was hoping there would be more boss fights like that. But I was disappointed. Hansen was an absolute shitshow, hated the arena and there's no satisfaction in winning.
Hansen is fun if you play melee, at least I found him satisfying to parry.
It's good. To me, the gameplay and story were better quality than the main game (though I like the main story better, it is a lot more flawed).
Dogtown is a really great area, the new unique cyberware is busted, all sorts of decent clothing options, nice cars, fun fights, overall great experience.
The dlc itself can end in one of 4 ways, and then it unlocks one ending for the game itself.
I'd recommend doing it as soon as it's available - you don't want to be over leveled and just breeze through the whole thing, having it be more challenging makes it more exciting
It's mostly okay but there's a noticeable decline in terms of writing between the main game and the DLC. And it both starts and ends with a pretty shitty linear section. Especially the one at one of the endings which is trying to do some awkward survival horror thing is pretty bad.
But has some cool setpieces during the middle and the side quests are overall better than most of the main game ones. Overall Inl think it's a bit of a shame it's the only DLC for the game.
Sounds good fellas
its all but done downloading. Gotta finish work then get some drinks in and play.

Likley missing a couple bits here and there
Just be aware that if you're playing female V you can pick a line where she talks about how much she likes BBC.
didn't like the female V's VA that much so ill be playing male
Both are good choices. I played female V cause I think playing as a badass sexy woman kinda fits in really well with the cyberpunk vibe, but I was disappointed when a certain female character I had a crush on would not date me because she is straight. There are lesbian and bisexual characters to romance but felt like I was settling.
>if you're playing female V
Why on earth would anyone do that?
Sarah Connor, Ellen Ripley, and Trinity come to mind. Female protagonists in this kind of setting are kino.
>Sarah Connor, Ellen Ripley
Both regular women turned into cringy "action" heroes in shitty sequels. Good on David Fincher for bringing Ripley back down to reality by having her almost be raped until she's saved by a man. Bad on Joss Whedon for turning her into a literal superhero.
>and Trinity come to mind
And this one isn't even real. She's only an action hero in video games. lol
>She's only an action hero in video games. lol
Uh what??? She stars in the very first fight scene you see in the first movie which also happens to be one of the most iconic fight scenes in the genre.
But it's not real. It's the matrix. Trinity is just "I'll kick your ass... at Nintendo." In the real world she's just a weak woman who dies.
>woman who would otherwise be weak is empowered by the potential of a fantasy sci-fi world
How does this not fit in with CP2077? Deus Ex had cool female augs too.
screenshot or fake
1.63 is the best version imo, Original Mr. Hands was better before the change, now he is just sassy. There is only one ending and three alternates in Phantom Liberty, Adam Smasher is 1000% more cooler. The end credits is worth watching imo
Hope you like horror games anon.
no, I really don't
very nearly didn't finish outer wilds dlc because of this.
Be frens with Songbirb then.
I still wish there was a Cyberpsycho ending. That would have been a more fitting ending. It escalates from police to maxtac to eventually smasher
>to eventually smasher
Why would he turn up?
Arasaka bounty, also callback to Edgerunners. David went up against cops, militech, arasaka, and finally smasher. Maxtac was called in for Maine.
The problem with this is people like to frick around and that includes seeing how long you can last clearing waves of maxtec after another.
Adding some boss fight with smasher at the end of the wanted level would remove the endless waves.
Would have to be only after starting some no point of return mission related to maxing out your cyberware capacity
It's very easy to make a scripted route for this. Like when you're making choices on the rooftop instead of offing yourself you just go crazy.
>black people
its trash
