There's no way that Orion will address anything that happened in 2077. It's probably gonna be a prequel set in Texas. If they do, they will keep it vague enough so that the Nomad, Solo and Blackwall endings could all be canon

It can be a sequel, basically all that needs to happen is the Hato faction power in Arasaka seizing control of Arasaka after the relic incident, Yorinobu and Saburo's fate can be left ambiguous. I hope they go with Tokyo but probably they'll stick to America

You do have an uninterrupted stream of consciousness so it doesn't necessarily mean that V "dies" during the soulkiller. It's possible that his survives the process as "himself" as that was Saburos whole intent with soulkiller. To preserve himself. As even the old original version of soulkiller that Alt wrote didn't actually kill her and they've had 50 years to work on it since then.

That's how I see it, and I've not seen any entries anywhere that define engrams in any way other than "duplicated consciousness". If it's transferal of consciousness it'd be a different case but they certainly never treat it like that in game (Johnny talks about being a copy not the original iirc).

Judy Quests > Panam Quests > Voodoo Boys > Phantom Liberty > Takemura quests
You can just headcanon this to say that it takes Takemura a few weeks to contact his buddy, and Judy/ finding Evalyn is V's most pressing concern, with him then falling back on Hellman when that doesn't pan out - then headcanon it again to say that it takes awhile for Mr.Hands to get you an in with the Voodoo boys, after which you do that quest and proceed with phantom liberty

Coach Fred's son has very cool looking cyber arms. I wish we could get something similar instead of Gorilla Arms being end all be all. The Cyberware system was drastically improved in 2.0, but it's still a long call from what I expected initially. All eye cyberware are just Kiroshi eyeballs, and you still can't give yourself colored body plating or those fancy golden traces some NPCs have.

Some of the cyberwear NPCs have in this game look uncomfortable, like the bits integrated into Reed's underarms and neck, or the gold strips going down Hanako's arms. I can just imagine a weird tugging feeling when moving around as it pulls on your biological bits. Makes me feel itchy thinking about it. In-universe it likely wouldn't feel like anything if its high quality enough.
It would be hella uncomfortable. If you've ever put tape on your arm, it has that tight pulling sort of feel to it, can't imagine how much worse it would feel if it was metal.

I haven't played the DLC yet. Is the newly added ending seriously another one filled with misery? The devs before release said people were asking for this sort of ending, but they were asking for a happy one, not another sad one. I heard it's more like Edgerunners, so I expect almost everyone you love to just die. At this point I'm more looking forward to Cyberpunk 2 in hopes that it might actually get at least a somewhat happy ending.

The Horror genre has had ban endings as the norm for over 20 years now. If nothing else, it's for the purpose of having one last ending stinger. Personally, I find it lazy and unfulfilling the majority of the time, but it is what it is.

Why not make the happy ending something extra hard to achieve? Making specific choices, beating it on the hardest difficulty (like Max Payne 2 for example), giving you a really hard boss to beat, etc. In a game with tons of choices and 6 tragic endings I'm disappointed there isn't at least one happy ending tbh.

I forget what the 5+ actually gave on the tetra, i think the bonus ram went from 6 to 8. You can trigger the 40% bonus damage by following up with a cheap reboot optics hack that costs 2 ram. All the netwatch stuff is really specific to being used through security cams. Not even really sure what a vehicle specific quickhack is, unless they just mean while driving which is odd.

If you have a couple hundred or thousand purple quickhack materials you can just craft a bunch of suicides to sell. The recipe is like 1200 for the purple one from the dogtown quickhack vendor and they sell for 13k each. green and blues will also sell for a few thousand each but im not sure if suicide exists at that tier.
You can also break down the tier 5 quickhacks that sell for 9k and craft an ultimate one that sells for 26k. You lose a little money but gain engineering exp. And I think it balances out to be more money in the long run since 3 disassembles crafts 1 ultimate hack with 3 leftover mats, so every 4th craft gets a 5th one with leftovers.

I'm a bit surprised CDPR didn't include any exotics in the game. I saw mention that there's apparently an Animal gang member with scaly skin but I don't count that. They could've easily dropped a few in places like Clouds or having a gig focused on them.
I'm not surprised at all. Modders managed to slap all of the unique cyberarms and legs onto V within a month of the game's launch with minimal clipping yet CDPR decided that updating the cops 5 different times was more important.

Its can get janky since its basically just layering everything ontop of the model but if you just want furries walking around everywhere it works.
Hmm, seems like 2.0 broke some things according to the author and it also replaces NPCs. I think I wait for the release version on Nexus since the NPC replacements are gonna be optional.

It's glitchy, yeah. You're obviously not supposed to cross the holographic yellow tape into a crime scene, but I've had cops start chucking grenades at me in the middle of traffic because somebody else crashed into me so hard that they died. Had Trauma Team aggro on me from 100 feet away while I was walking into a clothing store.

Player expression is more important than the sexual preferences of fictional people. If I'm the MC, I want romancable NPCs to be ME-sexual, no matter what gender I am, because I like the freedom of choice.

NTA but I completely disagree. World building is essential for player expression. What you want is there to be no real world building which ultimately means no real player expression either.
What amount of world building is done by knowing whether a character sucks dicks or clits? Is the world of Cyberpunk really so uninteresting that that's the deciding factor on whether a world is engaging? You telling me Baldur's Gate has no world building because every party member is romancable?
Hell, don't wokeoids agree that sexual preference should't even be a factor on whether a character is good or bad? So they also shouldn't suffer if that is taken out entirely.

That's what world building is. It means establishing the rules of a fictional world. A character having a sexual preference is world building in the most straightforward and obvious sense of the concept.

This is a faulty extrapolation from what I said. You just want to stick your dick in whatever strikes your fancy. You call it player expression, but it's really just self insertion i.e. self fellatio. The average RPG player these days thinks like you, but I totally disagree with it.

There really should be an option to lock certain features while randomizing like some other games do.
