its not about attention moron my point is that i'm probably not alone in being someone that just said frick it and paid for it out of convenience after the patch and thats well outside the first week sales
>OVER $80 million
purposefully vague and gives literally no information regarding the cost of the DLC. For all we know they spent $250 million when you include the game and marketing. What I do know for an absolute fact is that despite how much people cry and scream that the anime and DLC fixed cyberpunk, the stock price from prior to CP2077 launch compared to now tells a much different story. I do wonder how the goalposts will be moved when they announce sweeping layoffs within CDPR thoughbeit.
god hand was a dogshit game, the fact that IGN gave it a low score already confirms it. It just says you're a hipster contrarian if you think crap like that is actually good.
dogshit for the money
I don't believe for a second that's what they really spent unless they had teams sat on their asses doing nothing like when they developed the main game
on second thoughts, yeah, I do believe it
They wasted millions on Keeanu Reeves and let's be honest this dude is a fricking charisma poison, he can't play a charismatic rockman rebel. And on top of that he is barely even trying when reading the script.
I recently replayed the CP2077 with my country dub and they actually hired a good dub actor that is 500% better than Keanu and they probably paid him 0,01% of what Reeves got
That's more expensive than some full blown Japanese games. And what do they have to show for it? Idris Elba and literally nothing else. It's just one short poorly written questline with no new quality content.
They earn fat millions every year. Is everybody on this board too moronic to read financial statments? Every piblically traded company has to publish them
I've been watching highlights of Vinny Vinesause's streams of Cyberpunk from 2 years ago, and looking at how the game was back then really highlights how far it went. The state this game was released in is still inexcusable, but I can't deny how good of a job CDPR did with the 2.0 patch.
Don't care, still not playing cyberpunk
No one tell OP what 3million x $30 is.
10 million isn't a huge profit margin when you need 90% of that to just break even on the costs spent.
Wait so phatom Liberty completely stopped selling onced it reached 3 mil?
Not to mention that 3 mil copies doesn't take into consideration people buying the game AND the dlc because only now the game is playable
tbf i pirated PL but they updated to 2.01 yesterday and it broke my save so i bought it instead of waiting for crack sites to upload the patch kek
pirates are like the vegas of vydia. obnoxious attention prostitutes
its not about attention moron my point is that i'm probably not alone in being someone that just said frick it and paid for it out of convenience after the patch and thats well outside the first week sales
No one tell the shills what (3million x $30 * 0.7 - shill budget) is.
Gaben only takes 25% or 20% if you're a big guy.
x steam tax
...An incredibly thin profit margin?
>profit?
>in the first week?'
Interdasting...
>Profit? I'm the first year?
>'Mlady.
cyberpunk 2077 has an extra 5 million sales too on top of the 3 million pl sales it easily made its money back.
This is some of the most subversive clickbait shit i've ever seen. Where did you even get this shitty article from OP?
True. Also for me personally all that matters is that the game is fun.
The base game cost 300 million to make so these numbers are still shit.
>OVER $80 million

don't forget gaben's 30% cut
-ACK
are you an accountant? why the frick do you care about numbers instead if a game is just good or not? (in this case, I think cyberpunk suck)
god hand has abysmal numbers and reviews and yet is a great game, same for haunting ground and many others
you immature frick
god hand was a dogshit game, the fact that IGN gave it a low score already confirms it. It just says you're a hipster contrarian if you think crap like that is actually good.
He ran out of points of critique for Phantom Liberty itself, now he is desperately looking for other things about it to attack.
Maybe they should stop wasting so many millions on celebrities and youtubers?
I seriously don't understand, did anyone BUY the game because of Keanu reeves? Did anyone buy the DLC because of Idris Elba?
No?
Then why do they spend so much money on that shit?
>did anyone BUY the game because of Keanu reeves? Did anyone buy the DLC because of Idris Elba?
you have no idea...
dogshit for the money
I don't believe for a second that's what they really spent unless they had teams sat on their asses doing nothing like when they developed the main game
on second thoughts, yeah, I do believe it
>Cd project Red spent 80 millions attempting to fix the mess that was Cyberpunked 2077
cd project is ded
no worries they're tanking it through esg investment income
>rated as the #9637 game of all time on Steam
What a forgettable shit game.

What? People LOVE Keanu (despite his limited acting skills), they probably sold a ton thanks to him.
You didn't think that was intentional, how limited are your experiences in life...
That's more expensive than some full blown Japanese games. And what do they have to show for it? Idris Elba and literally nothing else. It's just one short poorly written questline with no new quality content.
In the first week?
Yeah.
Where does a Polish dev get this money?
Witcher 3 is among the top ten best selling games of all time. And for the record, cyberpunk is also among the best selling games of all time.
Bethesda and CDPR count expansion sells as units sold. So fake numbers
Doubt it.
They earn fat millions every year. Is everybody on this board too moronic to read financial statments? Every piblically traded company has to publish them
do you have any idea how much money they made off of Witcher 3 alone
>30% steam cut
> ps/xbox store cut
>30 % or more taxes
so CD Projekt remain with 30 millions
more like $60mil from that went on fixing up bugs LMAO
Don't care. I don't play games made for 10 year old consoles.
I've been watching highlights of Vinny Vinesause's streams of Cyberpunk from 2 years ago, and looking at how the game was back then really highlights how far it went. The state this game was released in is still inexcusable, but I can't deny how good of a job CDPR did with the 2.0 patch.
>I've been watching highlights of Vinny Vinesause's
You should commit suicide.
