Which is why I said a remake, plenty of good remakes out there that restructure the gameplay. Tony Hawk is a good example.
The new Battlefronts skimped out on the character selection and map variety, especially the first one.
I dunno. I liked BF2 after it was finally fixed and finished. There was a lot of cool classes and the different game modes were pretty well done. It's still heavily flawed but I think people shit on it because it's association with EA and it's legendary disastrous launch.
You obviously haven't played it in a while. None of those things apply anymore.

perk cards are still in the game and you still have to farm it out for it to be max. team balancing isn't implemented so you'll get one sided matches most of the time. mtx is out I know that much.
Battlefront style game about the founding of the Old Republic
or
KOTOR style game (except with not shit combat) about the early Old Republic where you play as a republic operative whose job it is to investigate planet system insurgencies and political conspiracies that are occurring within the new galactic state
hogwarts legacy, but you can either be a padawan or sith acolyte during the old republic and your only missions are actually learning to wield the force and going on missions with your master.
you could go to collect sith artifacts, do diplomatic stuff, have specific targeted missions to kill specific people during a large battle. all kinds of things.
>Hogwarts Legacy
sounds good, thought set during Luke NJO during the legacy Era. Choices will be either Jedi and Sith. For Jedi, you can become a Jedi knight proper or an imperial knight. For Sith, the One Sith or rogue Sith. >Ahsoka
no, if set during the NJO in Legacy era, than a whole subplot where you realize Tano didn't exist and was a fictional character.
>200 years before the multimedia project so the developers can make it their own
Lol 200 years is nothing. If you want something to come into its own then set it thousands of years before or after.
4 player squad class based co-op or solo with the updated AI commands
customisable clone trooper gear and loudouts
just gritty getting shit done style missions no fancy force bullshit or universe saving antics
>Play as a makeshift rebel strike force hitting key imperial locations like supply lines, factories, planetary defenses, etc. >Gathering dudes from various races and skillsets and outfitting them with looted weapons & armor >Final fight is against a big dick general and his imperial strike force taking on a last stand post-death-star-II-destruction
Star Wars is at its best when the writers forget they're writing a Star Wars story, as we've seen with Mandalorian S1, so just make a good game with some Star Wars dressing.
Dark Forces 4: Set in either the New Jedi Order era or the Legacy Era with the atmosphere of Dark Forces 2, good multiplayer and even better modding capabilities than before.
new FPS with someone who can take kyle katarn's place as his story is pretty much over at this point. I just want old school FPS action with some force powers and good lightsaber combat.
>MMORPG focused on player career in a massive sandbox rather than a regular chosen one themepark title >careers are based on skill pools, you can train outside your initial career to lean into other professions >a trader may see action as they ferry goods between systems depending on risks they take, and may move into illicit goods for higher pay if they're bold enough >scavengers navigate hostile environments to recover rare loot for the global player market >bounty hunters can freely operate in pursuit of their targets, but assassin contracts pose a greater risk-reward for players with the addition of political ramifications >interactive gambling and sport: pit fights, sabacc, dejarik, pod-racing, etc. >mercenary contracts for disputed regions after the fall of the Galactic Empire >Force characters only obtained through advanced play, light vs dark lean determined by player actions, eventually resulting in Jedi Revivalist vs Knights of Ren faction careers >customizable player vehicles are resource-intensive to create but can be sold on planetary markets >a number of player races, some with unique traits
Game about the first ever stoic Sith badass who hardly ever says anything except cool shit, the guy that comes up with all the cool dark powers they love. Set it at an even earlier time than KotOR, make it super edgy and full of pathos. He also needs to be super buff and get lots of alien chicks. Also he's a hacker and and ninja cyborg.
>Go to a planet, do jedi shit >Back to the Mantis, full penetration with Merrin >Go to a planet, do jedi shit >Back to the Mantis, full penetration with Merrin >Planet, jedi shit >Full penetration
And this goes on and on and back and forth for 25 hours or so until the game just sort of ends
grand strategy game where you play as an imperial remnant. fight against the new republic, absorb other remnant factions by diplomacy or force, and ultimately restore the empire or create a new order of your own.
An officially licensed/developed mod of Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy that's set during the Prequel era.
You customize your own Jedi.
The game should have a similar mission structure to default Jedi Academy, where each mission is sort of an arcade/sandbox scenario. Even less emphasis on an overaching story than in the regular game: just trying to capture the feel of being a Jedi Padawan or Knight in the prequel era republic, hopping around the galaxy helping people and doing missions.
>KotOR 3
A Master and two juniors got to planet to solve a diplomatic situation. There are political machinations and sith shenanigans afoot. Master taken out of active investigation as they are dealing with the all eyes on me negotiations, they send you out to do the investigation proper, assemble a ragtag party and uncover the plot.
Also, one of the junior knights is seduced to the darkside either your primary PC or the other depending on how many light or dark points you aquire.
How do you homosexuals even consume Star Wars content after the blunder of Nu-Wars? I've been completely turned off by that shit and George Lucas out of the picture it's fricking soulless at this point.
Disney cutting the good stuff off was a blessing in disguise, it means they now have to keep up appearances by not going back on their word and blending their canon with stuff that was written better and fit into the universe properly
There really isn't too many other franchises that deal with that level of established space sci fi lore. Even with the sequels, there's still loads of stories they could tell that would be really fun and interesting.
You are a scrapper who must collect valuable components from old combat areas with varrying degrees of legality and while having to fend off local fauna (which you can also sell the meat and hides of). Depending on how heavily patrolled the battlegrounds are you will either never be accosted by stormtrooper patrols, will have to maybe bribe a few scouts (assuming you have the cash). Or will outright have to use stealth to avoid them. Killing the patrols is only a realistic option if it's only a handfull of troops, but killing anyone makes them increasingly hostile if you're ever caught again.
A civ-style empire micro/ macro management game where you play as Sheev, you have to set the Imperial budget, maintain galactic trade routes and taxation, cleanse rebellions, pacify civilian unrest, get head from darkside b***hes, broker with vile underworld smuggling Huts, build up your military pork projects, throw Vader at things you want dead, sleep 'til noon, look cool wearing sunglasses, assassinate senators and Moffs who get uppity, play with your lightsaber collection, initiate public works projects, manage traffic, desecrate temples and shitpost about Jedi on the HoloNet
How would you have fixed the nu-trilogy dogshit and make it watchable Ganker? For me I would have brought the Starforge from Kotor back as being self repaired and Kylo was revering Revan which is why his outfit is similar.
>fixed the nu-trilogy dogshit
By making it not new stuff. Unironically just go into the existing materials, choose a good section with strong characters and adapt it to film. So basically a trilogy of Katarn/Revan fanwank because it bridges a lot of cool shit like Rakatan lore, the Star Forge etc.
So yeah it'd be my original pitch, would explain how the nu-empire aquired all that hardware in only 20 fricking years and why kylo is so mentally unstable is because the starforge being an incredibly large and possibly sentient Sith artifact was eating him away and he was becoming like Darth Malgus and not Revan. Also replace that cringe as frick empire steals kids with just droids, the starforge can shit out hundreds of thousands of droids.
Something like 1313 that happens far away from rebels, jedi, and all that. I've always liked the setting of star wars more than anything that actually happens in the movies.
A pair of young Padawan girls work up an intense sweat after a day of sparring and exercise. They can smell each other, and even sniff each other's armpits and giggle. They return to their shared quarters in the Padawan dormitories, but are unable to find inner peace through meditation today. They will need to find some other way to relax and center themselves.
Imperial Commando, Plot is a loose excuse to let you gun down rebel shits for 20 hours, gameplay is SWATlike, first starwars game to have gore and bring back the explosive ANH blaster rounds
THEY DONT DEFECT
Two ideas:
1. Reboot of Force Unleashed
2. A bounty hunting game where the plot is to hunt down one guy across the entire galaxy (for whatever reason). Every bounty you take gets you one step closer to them. Side quests on the way to earn money and upgrade your armour, weapons, or ship. If you want a multiplayer element, you could make raids a thing where players can set bounties on each other.
Vader game, the whole thing is just doing cool shit like the first level of Force Unleashed except you get suit upgrades and cosmetics and get to build your own ship
>Empire at War 2
with a bigger scale and better ground combat, and with tools for modders >trainer game
You play as a Jedi teacher raising younglings and padawans a few years before the clone wars begin. Game ends with your death at the assault of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and which of your pupils survive the war or purge depends on your actions. Could also set up sequels or side stories depending on how popular the students are. >bounty hunter online game
Multiplayer game where everyone is playing as custom bounty hunters set during the Empire era where you hunt dangerous targets; everything from gangsters to CIS remnants to surviving Jedi. Gameplay would be a mix of arcade and tactical; melee is viable but it's not a total run and gun.
Swing lightsaber at person and they die. But only sometimes, not all the time. And podracing. Something something sand and implied racism and political clashing mirroring irl.
I was thinking about a Survival Horror game set onboard the Vector from Deathtroopers
The survivors didn't rig the ISD Vector to blow up or anything, its still out there, floating in space.
Trans rights.
A neon hair lesbian is boss b***h of the spaceship and you play as xer as she kicks the ass of every misogynist in the galaxy.
*applause*
Thank you kind strangers.
>KoToR 3: The new Sith wars >you play as Darth Ruin, from Jedi to Dark Lord of the Sith >You basically rebuild the long dead sith. >two protagonists, Ruin and an "apprentice" >Some RPG and choices from the first two kotor's >A Jedi master will be the focus, but Ruin will be the true final boss. Second M.C will kill him. >End game will be about you trying to maintain control of the New Sith Empire, aka taking out tougher and tougher foes, be it Jedi or Sith. >After getting defeated, the second m.c gets killed by Jedi strike team, but it only results in more chaos.
I want a slow burn RPG, somewhat like KOTOR 2, that features Jedi and Sith characters working together, and serves as an exploration of both philosophies as well as the mysteries of the force and a potential unified philosophy. I want it to start relatively familiar and gradually get more mystical, until you get to The Fourth Precept style stuff
>Reconstruction Occupation of Separatist Systems >Separatist systems militarily defeated are trying to hide battle droid armies and manufacturing >Palpatine allows a bioweapon being developed by Separatist scientists to go off on a core world as a show of force >Separatist hard liners not cowed are engaging in guerilla warfare, bushwacking Imperial occupation forces >Imperials redeploy former Republic Marines and Commandos for COIN operations >combat's got a mix of human and droid Separatists vs. Clones and beginnings of Imperial conscript army, and a player 3rd wheel option as nascent Rebellion or mercenary auxilliaries to either side
1313 assets with additional elements. A less arcadey Battlefront which integrates Squadrons gameplay, like the old Galactic Campaigns in Battlefront space battles. Light Eve Online sort of shit in space, light Tarkov shit on the ground.
I don't care what anyone says or what the themes, design perspective or whateverthefrick. The rebels/new republic's designs are dogshit. They all look like cartoon jokes.
Even SWTOR managed to make The Old Republic's.. Republic, look good. But the ANH era shit is just lame.
I always thought the normal rebels looked really cool, actually. Only thing I would change is give them a bigger blaster and maybe a bit more tactical fluff, like some bandoliers and backpacks to make the designs less monotonous.
It's their dumb fricking helmets. Literally make them less stupid looking and rebels would look fine.
Anonymous
the only problem with the helmets is that they're a little bit oversized relative to the rest of the design. When you balanced it out with bigger guns, backpacks, satchels, etc., they look fine.

That still looks moronic because of the huge helmet

The New Republic had this cool "GDI-styled Storm Troopers" thing going on in the old comics. They got rid of that and just kept making shittier new republic soldiers for the Disney canon because, I don't fricking know, don't want them to be intimidating or some shit?
The Resistance had a cool look to them, at least.
Sort of.
>It's the twilight of the Clone Wars >You're on some massive desolate planet which is one of the CIS' biggest strongholds, filled to the brim with Droids >You play as a shiny reg Clone, from a later batch, just starting to become independent and discernable >Order 66 is called and your Jedi General absolutely shits on your brothers as you try to execute the order >You land the lucky shot and kill him, but the traitorous Jedi has wiped out every one of your fellow troopers except you >Calling for backup or recovery is impossible, comms are all scrambled due to the Droids and the ongoing shifts in the Republic >Due to some reason later explained, the Droids on the planet still are functioning even after the shutoff order >You're fricked >But if you're fricked, why not have some fun? >You find your Jedi's body and recover his lightsaber >Might as well learn how to use it, in addition to your standard munitions >Turns out this planet might be more than meets the eye, perhaps having some links to the Force, and the Jedi that led your battalion may have wanted to come here for a reason >YOUR MISSION: Wipe out every single fricking clanker you can see as a one man army, trying to restore contact with the now newly-christend Empire, all the while slowly uncovering the truths of the the war and the universe far beyond the comprehension of a mere soldier. >The game ends when you somehow stumble upon the realization that the clone you play as, for some reason, is a force-sensitive. There's a section where you briefly go ham with your force powers but ultimately nothing is explained as the Empire nukes the planet to remove all traces of the CIS, leaving the whole story a mystery.
Going ham is zoomtalk for "Going crazy, going wild" as in going all-out with your new stuff. I guess he means a big sandbox level where you get to frick around with all of the given tools before you get nuked.
Yes, the clone likely dies, or it's intentionally left entirely vague. Nothing that messes with any continuity, and whatever's the most interesting.
Going ham is zoomtalk for "Going crazy, going wild" as in going all-out with your new stuff. I guess he means a big sandbox level where you get to frick around with all of the given tools before you get nuked.
A game where you are an imperial senator vying for power in the cutthroat new landscape that is the galactic senate. By day, you engage in political discourse, mingle with merchants, strike trade deals. By night, you seek out seedier methods, and upon doing so, take control of assassins, bounty hunters, spice runners, whatever you've decided as a course of avenue to propel your political career. A back and forth gameplay where your choices and alliances you make during the day impact your more dangerous excursions at night, and vice versa.
Choose to slowly build resources to support Mon Mothma as she forms the Rebel Alliance, get into the good graces of The Emperor, or simply forge your own path.
Rebel Commando in the style of Hidden and Dangerous or Conflict: Desert Storm where you can take direct 3rd/1st person control of each squad member. Open ended levels with a squad selection pre-mission that lets you customize for stealth or direct combat or whatever.
A game where you play as a bounty hunter or assassin where you have plenty of character customization. You can go in with guns blazing or more of a subtle stealth approach. Use your earnings to by tips for future jobs or save up to buy help from other bounty hunters for big assignments. You're free to go around the galaxy and take jobs with whomever you like, wherever you like. This would cause you to get a reputation and would unlock specific storylines. I think the levels would sort of be like big sections of a city similar to Dishonored.
Sarlacc Simulator, but you're full of rape tentacles instead. Once you get to a high enough level, you can determine who gets thrown in. Nothing but teenage Twi'lek and Chiss girls for me!
Is Andor the only good one? I thought people liked The Mandalorian.
I watched Rogue One but didn't realize Andor came from there before I looked the show up
Mando is good, but a lot of people think it kind of fell off after the first season- and it was always just "pretty good", not great, was kind of carried by coming off of the negative sentiment around the sequel trilogy
I think a big reason why Andor turned out as well as it did was precisely because it was an unmarketable character that nobody wanted to see a show about, less studio meddling
Mandalorian is good but it's already gone into "DUDE JEDIS DUDE HUGE PLOTS" territory instead of being a cool wild-west-samurai story. Season 3 looks like ass compared to 1 and 2.
>Is literally named Kino >Is played by the most recognizable actor in the show >Is also the most kino character in the show

To be fair, all the animated series have ranged from mid to great, it's just those have a lot less reach
>Bad Batch is about some clones + an autistic kid
Frick off, who the frick wants to watch an autistic girl solve every problem?
Mate, you cannot pay me to watch a show that stars hardcore soldiers + a fricking autistic kid as the primary character. You'd have to be insane to even consider watching drivel like that.
They're all the primary character, anon
Personally I enjoy the 'fugitive found family working in the underworld to get by' thing, kinda reminds me of Firefly in a way

Don't care. Making a show revolving around some autistic child is an instant red flag and just an excuse to make "people" feel good.

You mean the "character babysits a child/wolf and cub dynamic" thing that's been Filoni's only trick from the start.

this concept might’ve been good 10 years ago but filoni has absolutely milked it for all its worth. i’m so tired of watching this same premise with the same character archetypes over and over, can we get back to the actual wars now?

>can we get back to the actual wars
The way this monkey's paw wish resolves is by having Mando tie in to the sequel trilogy

The sequel trilogy isn’t actual wars either. It’s one bus-full of ““freedom fighters”” fighting a cartoonishly huge and low effort ripoff of the empire.

Well, the first order had to take power somehow, and I'm sure they're going to work Filoni and Favreau to the bone trying to come up with a plausible explanation for how

The day they confirm that the sequels are still an eventuality in their current phase is when Star Wars loses any amount of popularity and goodwill it had left.
Rebels was garbage. Only the first 6 seasons of The Clone Wars were good. Resistance, Bad Batch, Clone Wars season 7, and Tales of the Jedi are atrocious. A couple of the Visions episodes were cool but overall the concept fell flat. That's the vast majority of animated content actually being not good anon.
The only one where I'd agree completely with no reservations is Resistance
Even Rebels had its moments as shitty as most of it was, the final duel with Maul is peak Star Wars
I understand that they had limited runtime and wanted to give Ahsoka some episodes away from the jedi order to sell how much time had passed, but I will always be pissed that Ventress died in a fricking book
I want a highly autistic saber fighting game in the vein of Mordhau or Blade Symphony or something
Give me every saber type, every fighting style, every force power, etc., and implement it all that puts a focus on the actual maneuvers themselves rather than the ridiculous physics-based movement jank that Jedi Academy revolved around
>Mando gets the fricking frog back during mado2.5, so season 3 won't be as interesting as it could have been >he gets a shittier ship, that has none of the functionalities of the first one
what were they thinking
Because that show, and Star Wars in general, literally cannot survive losing Grogu. They pigeonholed themselves so hard it's unreal the minute they introduced the cute Muppet. They are counting on viewership from the people, mainly women, who only like that character (and never watched anything else Star Wars) due to the memes. But that ship has already sailed anyway, those people got bored when season 2 just became Filoni wank and probably won't even watch season 3. Star Wars has become so irrelevant that they banked their entire future on a fad joke character.
The main problem I have with Mando2.5 is how they completely shat over the entirety of season 2, and everything else.
Season 2 is pointless, because the frog doesn't stay with Luke anyway. The spear is scrapped for no reason, when it could be a useful weapon against other Beskar clad mandalorians that wanted to claim the darksaber. Mando becomes incredibly moronic and stops using most of his tools, he even becomes too stupid to just roll his explosives slowly so they get under shields. And the new ship is useless for a bounty hunter, since he can't fit anything other than himself and Yoda inside,
I'm so annoyed he's flying a Naboo Starfighter just because it's the thing from the thing. Nobody there thought how fricking useless a craft designed for sorties would be to a man who'd have to bring things or people back to his client?
Season 2 was already a huge mistep. Turning the show into a vessel for Filoni's unfinished TCW and Rebels storylines ruined it. It was a fun, standalone adventure of the week before that and should have stayed as such. Even though I loved seeing Luke kick ass like in the EU, it came at the cost of making the show too dependent on other media to be a complete story, much like any given movie in the MCU.
And that's without mentioning Boba's character assassination, the abuse of Tatooine, how Fennec did everything that Boba should have done, and how they turned being a crime syndicate leader into a shitty mayor.
This is so fricking stupid. And the very same people who hate the sequel trilogy adore Mando, despite its creators not knowing what to do with him. They will do the same stupid shit with Andor, mark my words.
Wasn't that canceled 1313 game supposed to be about the super fricked up underbelly/planet surface of Corosaunt? It's briefly mentioned in the expanded lore but apparently there's some fricked up shit down there, including old civilizations and such. I still think that'd be a cool concept. Especially if it revolved around bounty hunters or fleeing Jedi.
I also heard somewhere that Tatooine used to be a central hub of the galaxy but it got glassed centuries prior by some ancient race of creature and that's why it's still often traveled but merely a sand planet. Maybe a Mass Effect type game where you know about the incoming destruction and try(and fail) to stop it
Which makes it even better. It's Star Wars in just the right ways that makes it interesting. It doesn't need lightsabers or other super familiar shit. It needs the frame of SW and then make it its own thing.
Basically what Mando sort of was until it became more jedi hocus pocus.

Star Wars underworld/criminal rpg, Being able to choose whatever alien race. Work or form your own cartel. Imagine MGS5 where you slowly form your cartel and explore the underworld of a planet (corusant 1313) with a Fallout New Vegas rpg.
It has been over a century since the Galactic Civil War ended. Most of the galaxy is in a state of irrecoverable disrepair and decline. Important worlds like Corsucant are without vital resources, causing food and water shortages as it's buildings crumble. Evacuated people are sent to random parts of the Empire that suddenly double, triple in population as fleets of military starships are used to import refugees. There is no central authority, and piracy is rampant. Only the Galactic Core is truly safe, but it's run by the Reformed Republic which is beset by a major genetics crisis due to all the Clones dying off forcing extensive use of Droid police and combat units.
Game is on the desert planet of Tattooine, which is the only planet Disney gives a shit about. The Player is nobody who finds himself stranded at a remote spaceport. Using a wide variety of weapons, diplomacy and bartering he will have to unite the planet under a single banner to meaningfully obtain it's admission to the Republic or rebuild a military force capable of establishing it's Independence. Most of the game is around Mos Eisely, now a gigantic metropolis surrounded by slums, and the remaining Republican Berths - huge pits carved into nearby canyons for shiplaying and deconstruction built a millenia before. Besides ground things the player will also go to selected places in space, like the Republic Tradepost, the Star Base (a gigantic science facility built near Tattooine's twin stars), Mustafar's abandoned refineries (located between the stars and constantly torn apart by their opposing gravitational wells), and a DLC campaign in Corellia (one of the main worlds Coruscant is dumping onto). Tattooine sits at the center of relevant trade routes and is important to the balance of power in the Outer Rim.
I just want X-wing alliance with modern operating system support and a more playable control scheme. No new graphics or anything, just make it easier to play.

No Man's Sky but in the star wars universe and instead of tranillions of empty planets just a lot of them fully fleshed out with lots of secrets and such, a main story that has no priority kind of like skyrim.
If you're a lazy developer looking for ideas you could also make tons of paid DLC out of it and bleed the fans for everything they have.

dart vader is evil and you must fight off his darth troopers (who cant aim lol) and you go through a level shooting and swinging your lightsword and eventually you get to dart h vader and he tells you you are weak but you put up a fight and then later you fight him again and he tells you he loves you and love wins and you marry aarth vader and become sith also, but alt ending is you fix him and go live away from the empire and enjoy life a new
It had to be The Force Unleashed, man. Who the frick even remembers Galen Marek anymore
God, it was right fricking there - plot about Vader hunting Jedi immediately after Episode 3 where his mutilated, charred body basically cut off his connection to the force and had to juggle hunting the remnants of the order, palpatine's assassins, rogue elements and recovering himself physically and in the ways of the Force. It could have been THE peak of Vader and Force-using content since Vader being a slow hulking piece of shit would put the force powers as the selling point of the game but instead we got a fricking OC.
Then LucasArts canned Star Wars: Vader and G*orge sold the IP
Yuuzhan Vong war Battlefront.
3d Remaster of the x wing and tie fighter games
Obligatory bounty hunter MMO RPG FPS/TPS
A true remake of Battlefront 1 and 2, not like that shitty Battlefield reskin EA did.
It's time to admit those games did not age well as far as gameplay goes
Which is why I said a remake, plenty of good remakes out there that restructure the gameplay. Tony Hawk is a good example.
The new Battlefronts skimped out on the character selection and map variety, especially the first one.
Which was crazy considering how the remake ended up even worse
I dunno. I liked BF2 after it was finally fixed and finished. There was a lot of cool classes and the different game modes were pretty well done. It's still heavily flawed but I think people shit on it because it's association with EA and it's legendary disastrous launch.

Yes!
>during the Clone Wars
Ok. Not ideal, but still fine...

So fighting alongside Jaina Solo at Luke's Jedi Praxeum I guess?
Would be significantly better, yes. I would fricking love a game like that set in Luke's academy.

just gritty getting shit done style missions no fancy force bullshit or universe saving antics
A star wars game but good
star wars is shit. We need good 40k games
>Star Wars but for Shadow the Hedgehog kiddos
Lmao
¿Porque no los dos?
Jedi academy lovestory vn
X-Com style squad tactics game
It worked for 40k, twice
It worked for fricking Gears of War
It can work for Star Wars
>Play as a makeshift rebel strike force hitting key imperial locations like supply lines, factories, planetary defenses, etc.
>Gathering dudes from various races and skillsets and outfitting them with looted weapons & armor
>Final fight is against a big dick general and his imperial strike force taking on a last stand post-death-star-II-destruction
this but with a imperial campaign too
and competitive multiplayer
Star Wars is at its best when the writers forget they're writing a Star Wars story, as we've seen with Mandalorian S1, so just make a good game with some Star Wars dressing.
Open world nar shaddar working for the hutt syndicate. RPG mechanics and dialogue trees with weapon wheel combat and vehicle/safehouse customization
To be honest, a Star Wars horror game would be kino. I’m thinking like dress space or the evil within
Literally just battlefront 2 (2005) with QoL shit and space-ground integration
1313
Darth Maul game
KotOR 3
Imperial Commandos
Jedi Knight 4
Lego Star Wars: The Kyle Katarn Saga
Dark Forces 4: Set in either the New Jedi Order era or the Legacy Era with the atmosphere of Dark Forces 2, good multiplayer and even better modding capabilities than before.
new FPS with someone who can take kyle katarn's place as his story is pretty much over at this point. I just want old school FPS action with some force powers and good lightsaber combat.
this but edgy boomer shooter starring Cade Skywalker
That would be really cool
nice roni
>MMORPG focused on player career in a massive sandbox rather than a regular chosen one themepark title
>careers are based on skill pools, you can train outside your initial career to lean into other professions
>a trader may see action as they ferry goods between systems depending on risks they take, and may move into illicit goods for higher pay if they're bold enough
>scavengers navigate hostile environments to recover rare loot for the global player market
>bounty hunters can freely operate in pursuit of their targets, but assassin contracts pose a greater risk-reward for players with the addition of political ramifications
>interactive gambling and sport: pit fights, sabacc, dejarik, pod-racing, etc.
>mercenary contracts for disputed regions after the fall of the Galactic Empire
>Force characters only obtained through advanced play, light vs dark lean determined by player actions, eventually resulting in Jedi Revivalist vs Knights of Ren faction careers
>customizable player vehicles are resource-intensive to create but can be sold on planetary markets
>a number of player races, some with unique traits
Game about the first ever stoic Sith badass who hardly ever says anything except cool shit, the guy that comes up with all the cool dark powers they love. Set it at an even earlier time than KotOR, make it super edgy and full of pathos. He also needs to be super buff and get lots of alien chicks. Also he's a hacker and and ninja cyborg.
you are looking for darth bane.
Bane??
Why does he wear mime makeup, he looks like a gay.
>Go to a planet, do jedi shit
>Back to the Mantis, full penetration with Merrin
>Go to a planet, do jedi shit
>Back to the Mantis, full penetration with Merrin
>Planet, jedi shit
>Full penetration
And this goes on and on and back and forth for 25 hours or so until the game just sort of ends
grand strategy game where you play as an imperial remnant. fight against the new republic, absorb other remnant factions by diplomacy or force, and ultimately restore the empire or create a new order of your own.
An officially licensed/developed mod of Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy that's set during the Prequel era.
You customize your own Jedi.
The game should have a similar mission structure to default Jedi Academy, where each mission is sort of an arcade/sandbox scenario. Even less emphasis on an overaching story than in the regular game: just trying to capture the feel of being a Jedi Padawan or Knight in the prequel era republic, hopping around the galaxy helping people and doing missions.
just something like shadows of the empire
playing within the star wars universe but not as a mary sue type jedi character is the best possible experience
Star Wars City Builder
Empire at War 2
How do you homosexuals even consume Star Wars content after the blunder of Nu-Wars? I've been completely turned off by that shit and George Lucas out of the picture it's fricking soulless at this point.
Only content from the old Expanded Universe that came from before Di$ney ruined Star Wars and I only get it second hand not the Di$ney reprints.
Disney cutting the good stuff off was a blessing in disguise, it means they now have to keep up appearances by not going back on their word and blending their canon with stuff that was written better and fit into the universe properly
There really isn't too many other franchises that deal with that level of established space sci fi lore. Even with the sequels, there's still loads of stories they could tell that would be really fun and interesting.
star wars in anime style. Main antagonist is Darth e-girl
Just ignore it
I’m sorry George
>How would you have fixed the nu-trilogy dogshit and make it watchable Ganker?
You fricking can't. It's set in stone.
By adapting the Star Wars expanded Universe instead of Di$ney bullshit. I would either start with “The Truce at Bakura” or the Thrawn Trilogy
Something like 1313 that happens far away from rebels, jedi, and all that. I've always liked the setting of star wars more than anything that actually happens in the movies.
get Dennis Branvall back and have DICE make Battlefront 3 instead of diverting resources into shitty Battlefields
Maybe some tea and a good book.
EAW2 set in the Yuuzahn Vong war
Vader game, the whole thing is just doing cool shit like the first level of Force Unleashed except you get suit upgrades and cosmetics and get to build your own ship
>good pitches are le anime or le EU reddit shit
Just go back already
Reddit hates the EU and loves to consoom Di$ney Soi Wars shit in stead which Redditor's consider to be much better
>Empire at War 2
with a bigger scale and better ground combat, and with tools for modders
>trainer game
Literally just Podracing again.
Would be too good, can't have good star wars games, sorry.
>Fricked our chance at another Rogue Squadron with that EA Starfighter game I can't even remember what it was called because it was so mediocre
Swing lightsaber at person and they die. But only sometimes, not all the time. And podracing. Something something sand and implied racism and political clashing mirroring irl.
Idk.
republic commando 2/imperial commando or a bounty hunter reboot immersive sim-ish action game with some branching pathways
dating simulator with all the girls of the franchise
I want to frick Kreia despite her trying to sway my moronic ass to the dark side
That new EA Battlefront but not made by EA and with no Heroes.

Remaster Tie Fighter and it's expansion without touching any of the story. THE END
>KoToR 3: The new Sith wars
>you play as Darth Ruin, from Jedi to Dark Lord of the Sith
>You basically rebuild the long dead sith.
>two protagonists, Ruin and an "apprentice"
>Some RPG and choices from the first two kotor's
>A Jedi master will be the focus, but Ruin will be the true final boss.
>Reconstruction Occupation of Separatist Systems
>Separatist systems militarily defeated are trying to hide battle droid armies and manufacturing
>Palpatine allows a bioweapon being developed by Separatist scientists to go off on a core world as a show of force
>Separatist hard liners not cowed are engaging in guerilla warfare, bushwacking Imperial occupation forces
>Imperials redeploy former Republic Marines and Commandos for COIN operations
>combat's got a mix of human and droid Separatists vs.
New Republic officer stranded on a first order occupied planet
I don't care what anyone says or what the themes, design perspective or whateverthefrick. The rebels/new republic's designs are dogshit. They all look like cartoon jokes.
Even SWTOR managed to make The Old Republic's.. Republic, look good. But the ANH era shit is just lame.
Holy frick this. Rebel aesthetics are the weakest in the whole franchise. Why can't we have Fel Empire style stuff? It's kino.
rebels are tied with galactic empire for all-time best designs in SW, with clones and separatists tied for second, and all the fanfic shit after that.
yeah dude real badasses
Every single one of those dudes fought to the death knowing vader was on the other side of the door.
a goofy looking nerd might fight to stop a school shooter, but he still looks like a goofy nerd even if he wins.
heroics won't change aesthetics.
It's their dumb fricking helmets. Literally make them less stupid looking and rebels would look fine.
the only problem with the helmets is that they're a little bit oversized relative to the rest of the design. When you balanced it out with bigger guns, backpacks, satchels, etc., they look fine.
That still looks moronic because of the huge helmet
You see many of them surrender later on.
I always thought the normal rebels looked really cool, actually. Only thing I would change is give them a bigger blaster and maybe a bit more tactical fluff, like some bandoliers and backpacks to make the designs less monotonous.
Rahm Kota is so fricking cool it's obnoxious.
battlefront 3 but good and not touched by EA or disney
I just want them to finish that heavy rain game set in the high Republic
KOTOR 2 2
>Rebel Alliance

>New Republic

The New Republic had this cool "GDI-styled Storm Troopers" thing going on in the old comics. They got rid of that and just kept making shittier new republic soldiers for the Disney canon because, I don't fricking know, don't want them to be intimidating or some shit?
The Resistance had a cool look to them, at least.
Sort of.
>It's the twilight of the Clone Wars
>You're on some massive desolate planet which is one of the CIS' biggest strongholds, filled to the brim with Droids
>You play as a shiny reg Clone, from a later batch, just starting to become independent and discernable
>Order 66 is called and your Jedi General absolutely shits on your brothers as you try to execute the order
>You land the lucky shot and kill him, but the traitorous Jedi has wiped out every one of your fellow troopers except you
>Calling for backup or recovery is impossible, comms are all scrambled due to the Droids and the ongoing shifts in the Republic
>Due to some reason later explained, the Droids on the planet still are functioning even after the shutoff order
>You're fricked
>But if you're fricked, why not have some fun?
>You find your Jedi's body and recover his lightsaber
>Might as well learn how to use it, in addition to your standard munitions
>Turns out this planet might be more than meets the eye, perhaps having some links to the Force, and the Jedi that led your battalion may have wanted to come here for a reason
>YOUR MISSION: Wipe out every single fricking clanker you can see as a one man army, trying to restore contact with the now newly-christend Empire, all the while slowly uncovering the truths of the the war and the universe far beyond the comprehension of a mere soldier.
>The game ends when you somehow stumble upon the realization that the clone you play as, for some reason, is a force-sensitive. There's a section where you briefly go ham with your force powers but ultimately nothing is explained as the Empire nukes the planet to remove all traces of the CIS, leaving the whole story a mystery.
does the clone die? I'm not sure what you meant by the "ham" part?
Going ham is zoomtalk for "Going crazy, going wild" as in going all-out with your new stuff. I guess he means a big sandbox level where you get to frick around with all of the given tools before you get nuked.
Yes, the clone likely dies, or it's intentionally left entirely vague. Nothing that messes with any continuity, and whatever's the most interesting.
"Going ham" isn't zoomtalk I'm not that young ;-;
Open world RPG where you control your own spaceship with space and ground combat, similar to something like elite dangerous.
Star Wars SMC.
You gotta design ships for X faction, all the while having to balance bureaucracy and money, not to mention handling your shipyard.
I'm struggling for a title. Frick you.
I'd play Star Wars: Bureaucracy & Dagger.
that's a better name than I could come up with, cheers. My best was like "Imperial Intrigue" or some shit like that.
that concept would really work well as a vn.
i've been enjoying fallen order alot, and I'm not a star wars fan at all.
It's an open world rpg but every character is e-girl.
Sarlacc Simulator, but you're full of rape tentacles instead. Once you get to a high enough level, you can determine who gets thrown in. Nothing but teenage Twi'lek and Chiss girls for me!
Why are you scrolling so fast?
Where where you when Star Wars received a good piece of media since Lucas days?
isn't andy serkis the big head fella in the new movies
he did the mocap work at minimum for snoke yeah
Is Andor the only good one? I thought people liked The Mandalorian.
I watched Rogue One but didn't realize Andor came from there before I looked the show up
Mando is good, but a lot of people think it kind of fell off after the first season- and it was always just "pretty good", not great, was kind of carried by coming off of the negative sentiment around the sequel trilogy
I think a big reason why Andor turned out as well as it did was precisely because it was an unmarketable character that nobody wanted to see a show about, less studio meddling
If you like the idea of street-level Star Wars, give Andor a try
Mandalorian is good but it's already gone into "DUDE JEDIS DUDE HUGE PLOTS" territory instead of being a cool wild-west-samurai story. Season 3 looks like ass compared to 1 and 2.
based
>Bad Batch is about some clones + an autistic kid
Frick off, who the frick wants to watch an autistic girl solve every problem?
>who the frick wants to watch an autistic girl solve every problem?
Not me, which is why it's good that the show is only occasionally like that
Mate, you cannot pay me to watch a show that stars hardcore soldiers + a fricking autistic kid as the primary character.
Well, the first order had to take power somehow, and I'm sure they're going to work Filoni and Favreau to the bone trying to come up with a plausible explanation for how
The day they confirm that the sequels are still an eventuality in their current phase is when Star Wars loses any amount of popularity and goodwill it had left.
they're literally all autistic. they were bred to be autistic and she's just a boba aged version of the autism force 99 has.
>Is literally named Kino
>Is played by the most recognizable actor in the show
>Is also the most kino character in the show
It's like poetry
To be fair, all the animated series have ranged from mid to great, it's just those have a lot less reach
The only good Star Wars cartoon was the original clone wars.
>Anakin and Obi-Wan episodes scrapped in favor of some shitty Ahsoka episodes where she travels with the useless sisters
AAAAAAAAAAA
I understand that they had limited runtime and wanted to give Ahsoka some episodes away from the jedi order to sell how much time had passed, but I will always be pissed that Ventress died in a fricking book
>the first 6 seasons of The Clone Wars
>good
You're right about everything else, though.
General Grievous game a la Dynasty Warriors.
Republic commando, but with the empire AND you don't betray the empire halfway through the game.
TellTale presents the Mandalorian
no
Planetfall: star wars edition.
>Mando gets the fricking frog back during mado2.5, so season 3 won't be as interesting as it could have been
>he gets a shittier ship, that has none of the functionalities of the first one
what were they thinking
Because that show, and Star Wars in general, literally cannot survive losing Grogu. They pigeonholed themselves so hard it's unreal the minute they introduced the cute Muppet. They are counting on viewership from the people, mainly women, who only like that character (and never watched anything else Star Wars) due to the memes. But that ship has already sailed anyway, those people got bored when season 2 just became Filoni wank and probably won't even watch season 3. Star Wars has become so irrelevant that they banked their entire future on a fad joke character.
>they banked their entire future on a fad joke character.
They still are with Ahsoka.
No, that's just Filoni being a homosexual and Kennedy allowing it because the character is female.
Space dicky endures, anon
Live action was a mistake though
The main problem I have with Mando2.5 is how they completely shat over the entirety of season 2, and everything else.
Season 2 is pointless, because the frog doesn't stay with Luke anyway. The spear is scrapped for no reason, when it could be a useful weapon against other Beskar clad mandalorians that wanted to claim the darksaber. Mando becomes incredibly moronic and stops using most of his tools, he even becomes too stupid to just roll his explosives slowly so they get under shields. And the new ship is useless for a bounty hunter, since he can't fit anything other than himself and Yoda inside,
Man, I fricking hate Mando 2.5. Like, it’s insanely bad, in all regards. Not one character that appeared in it walked out better than beforehand.
The wookiee got a good live action costume design, at least
I'm so annoyed he's flying a Naboo Starfighter just because it's the thing from the thing. Nobody there thought how fricking useless a craft designed for sorties would be to a man who'd have to bring things or people back to his client?
He's kind of stopped being a bounty hunter, the story seems like it's shifting more toward developing him into the next Mandalore
>"Well, kiddo, I guess I'm THE Mandalorian now"
goddammit
What did they do with the spear?
Reforged into a chainmail shirt for Baby Yoda
Maybe a Mass Effect type game where you know about the incoming destruction and try(and fail) to stop it
The Tatooine story is in KOTOR. It used to be a grassland planet and the sandpeople rebelled against the rakatan empire.
Yeah Ratakans. I know very little but they seemed like they could be a cool pre-empire concept.
They're pretty kino, they had a comic series iirc and get explored more in TOR.
>Dislike Rogue One
>Love Andor
Feels based.
Andor isn't even Star Wars, it's a crime drama set in space.
Which makes it even better. It's Star Wars in just the right ways that makes it interesting. It doesn't need lightsabers or other super familiar shit. It needs the frame of SW and then make it its own thing.
Basically what Mando sort of was until it became more jedi hocus pocus.
>love Rogue One
>dislike Andor
feels megabased.

Rogue One is boring for most of its runtime and all the cool shit was just memberberries at the end of the day
you ride a bike around and uh... you get to look at some breasts.
