With the shitty quality of the last two episodes and how Lilith cucked us out of Ingrid and Cerberus scene, I'm still glad we got the bad (good) ending route however rushed.
I am glad they at least gave us that the troll's bad ending. They still wasted budget on scenes that didn't need to be there. The scene of Mayfeng getting an enema wasn't in the game. Why was animation budget wasted on that? Skip that ZiZ original BS and use that budget to show us pregnant Annerose. Annerose had three bad endings in it's game.
The first bad ending was what we got in episode 2. The MC either saves her before she gets raped or doesn't, leading to what you saw in ep2, and Mayfeng taking her away for good. ZiZ had a good idea to change that into something they could use and move forward from.

The second bad ending is one of the two scenarios ep3 tip-toed around. Aishwarya captures Ann and Mayfeng off screen. Without going into boring story detail, the MC has to complete a question game to rescue Ann. If he wins, Ann is set free and Mayfeng is raped. If he fails, Ann is raped instead. The second bad ending is pretty long. Annerose gets raped by over 100 people for hours and then mind broken. She then becomes the public cum dump for Aishwarya's colosseum.

What I don't understand is if they couldn't afford to properly do the third troll's ending, why not just have one ep3 and use the gang bang ending?

Aside from some plot setup differences, the scenes are pretty much the same. The major differences is what they leave out. The tube-dildo scene is almost identical to the game's version:

They left out this scene that is supposed to happen after the tube-dildo one. One major plot point the OVA leaves out is that Annerose is legally registered as a slave by Mayfeng. The law in the city goes that any person found unconscious can be registered as a sex slave within 24 hours before they wake up. Mayfeng gives the MC the chance to buy Annerose's freedom if he's able to raise money, so he since he can't physically beat Mayfeng himself, he goes off to work his ass off. Annerose is supposed to be held captive by Mayfeng for months during this time. She sexually tortures and prostitutes Annerose nearly every single day after she's captured.

The troll rape scene only happens a couple of months later, when Mayfeng starts getting bored and wants to up the torture. It plays out nearly the same as the way the OVA handled it, with Annerose ahegaoing and appearing to mind break at the end of it.

The big payoff scene the OVA dropped was the scene that comes a little while after that one. This scene happens like 3-4 months after the troll sex scene occurs. The MC meets up with Mayfeng to finally buy back Annerose's freedom. This is around 6 months since Annerose has been in her care. It's too late though, because Annerose is already pregnant and too far gone to even acknowledge him.

Its always a really shitty game usually a RTS or something but hey every 30 seconds you see something lewd! No thanks. A waste of time and money. And this is coming from someone who faps to taimanin on a near daily basis.
I played it for a few weeks, the game is fun and quite generous for gacha standards but gameplay wise most of the combat in the game is in small arenas or corridors with multiple aggressive enemies, so the only characters I found fun playing were the ones with big sweeping attacks like murasaki, shiranui etc. If you don't play them you get mobbed and interrupted too much.
It's only generous at the beginning, where it needs to get you hooked. That's common for most gacha games that want to manipulate the player into thinking the game is generous enough to stick around with, then it gets harder to get gems later. Once your already invested, it expects you to start paying. In AT, the only real way to reliably farm gems is the PVP arena, which is whale dominated.
