Because I want a second game of this and I can only do it if you chuds play her fricking game!!! And the analytics say there's an interest for a follow-up game.
Good game. Really interesting premise and gets right to the point. The opening cutscene is about 1 minute long and then you're playing the game. It's a real video game, it doesn't have a lot of dumb shit in it each cutscene is 2 minutes max before you're playing again, yet the plot is good. The gameplay is a faster version of RE4. It's a good game, don't let your cynicism get the better of you.
The basic fundamentals of how the game plays is like a fast version of RE4. Jesse hauls ass and shoots faster than Leon and can do all that psychic stuff but if you like RE4 you'd probably like Control, they feel very similar with the whole over the shoulder action game in a creepy environment thing they both got going.
Great game with some pacing issues in terms of gameplay. I also enjoyed all the nods to Finnish mythology here and there, along with all the sidemissions having all sorts of cool stuff tied to them (and the secret areas too).
Doesn't look like this at all
For one, the in game character has thin lips, which makes her look a lot more masculine
This model has total dick sucking lips, also prettier eye region, smaller cheekbones
They definitely trannified her
Not really, this woman has a handsome jawline but looking at all these model pics of her, she looks very feminine and pretty.
The character in the game looks incredibly manlike and unattractive. They fricked it up
game is fun. gameplay didnt get old through the 25ish hours it too me to finish it 100%...did every single mission and got every collectable. I really liked the story as well. And the DLC were actually really good.
>Oldest House grooms Jesse into the new Director >Ahti fulfills his name as a keeper of depths and secrets by being the literal janitor of the Oldest House. >Whole game is all about protecting the real world from the power struggles of eldritch gods. >It's not a lake, it's an ocean...
Control was the most solidly 8/10 game I've ever played
It was good, but it kept me strung along because I kept expecting it to give me more. It never fully delivers.
I feel like the team deliberately held themselves back, there was definitely more potential in this game that they didn't managed to deliver.
It felt a bit to me like there were parts missing. The bit with the scale model town was incredibly unnerving the way its initially presented, but it's just... sort of there.
I did really enjoy the false credits sequence, especially how it referenced the Dylan's rambling
I already did
It was a decently fun action game with some neat aesthetic ideas, but the game really peaks during the Ashtray Maze and makes all the slow, pointless wandering around you do for the first 80% of the game seem really meager in comparison. If they ever make a sequel, they should aspire to make a game filled with Ashtray Maze-like sequences and uses of their SCP setting, otherwise it all just feels like a meaningless tease to what you actually want to see
I also think Jesse's a pretty weak protagonist with a pretty uninteresting personality, which considering she's supposed to be your "partner" is a bit of an issue
The Ashtray maze was cool but nowhere near as neat as some people made it out to be. Personally I found the SCP Jail or the otherworldly Rock Quarry more interesting.
Something I don't think gets enough credit is the fact that despite Jesse's face looking a bit fricked, her personality isn't. For months everyone kept crowing over how she's a "it's MA'AM" type of character, but she really isn't. If anything, she defers to the expertise of the other characters far more than having an attitude.

Agreed. Frankly it's what made me like the game personally.
Jesse is an actually strong female character, she clearly cares about those around her, trusts the advice of others when discussing things she doesn't know, doesn't once just rush in and frick things up for everyone and her dedication to her brother is a fantastic way to make her likeable right from the off.
They really did well on her personality. She reminded me of female protagonists from the 90s.
Say what you like about Remedy Entertainment; they know how to fit together set pieces and music.
Honestly they should do an entire survival horror game about a burned out rockstar haunted by the Father Johnson-esq deal he made with the devil in his youth; while he burned out and wasted his talent on cocaine and being a shit head, the devil doesn't consider his part of the bargain unfulfilled. After all, the talent is still there, he just pissed it all away.
Already did, the telekinesis in that game is top notch. Always wanted to see pseudo realistic gravity powers in a game and they nailed it. The main character is not the greatest though, both physically and narratively. But overal a decent game.
Don't sleep on shield fyi. I mean you can never touch it and be fine but upgraded I found it just as fun as throw. Made me use the melee more as I was much more often up in enemies faces. The levitating ground smash was also fun.
>ugly woman >small booba >small poopa >mediocre gameplay
sorry no sale
Try appealing to your main demographic for once and you might sell yourself a game, but you hate money or something
Already played it
Why do you keep posting this?
Ebin Games gave it away for free a long while ago now.
Because I want a second game of this and I can only do it if you chuds play her fricking game!!! And the analytics say there's an interest for a follow-up game.
Isn't Alan Wake 2 in the works?
Alan Wake my ASS I want Jesse Faden 2!!!
The actress will probably be in Alan Wake 2 considering Remedy keeps hiring the same morons
feels like it's hard for Jesse to return as the MC of another game because she can fly and is quite OP.
I did and kept getting lost sorry for being moronic Jesse
>I did and kept getting lost
So an accurate government building simulator, lol

I dont recall flying and throwing concrete around in re4.

No nude mods no play
Good premise, but definitely boring game. I wonder who will remedy swindle next for funding.

Why is she so ugly?
because you cant be a stronk wahmen and beautiful at the same time.
Have you never seen a real woman before?
why not make her to look like the model she was based of though? she is really pretty and doesnt have this blockhead and man jaw.
>why not make her to look like the model she was based of
They did...
i take it back...she actually does look very similar to the model. damn that chin though it just doesnt sit right with me lol
God manfaced b***hes are hot
no they didn't what are you blind
Yes they did.
Would

Uhm based
Legit might have been a situation where they fricked up the motion capture and couldn't afford to/didn't want to do it all over again.
Motion capture is for animation. They can change the model asset any time for any reason.
Why do people say she's ugly? She's not perfect looking but she's certainly not ugly.

gameplay was fun but the story and characters were so fricking boring and uninteresting i gave up on it about halfway
make me
*gets on her knees*
Wasn't half bad. Some of the lore was interesting to read, but I didn't care about any of the characters.

>It's not a lake, it's an ocean...
even though they are easy to outrun, I hate that langolier dark matter shit
overrated af
got boring really quick
>female protagonist
You're a homosexual
Why gay?

Jesse a CUTE
oh she a cute
I prefer a better version
No
I already did

Don't care. Still would eat jesse's bubble butt.

yea, personally i found the side quests involving the items of power the best part.
It's ALTERED ITEMS, Ma'am.
I loved his two guards who were completely done with his shit and played off everything straight faced

yea she does have a good personality. all the character do. I thought so at least.

I did, like 2 years ago.
>ps5 upgrade isnt free
The game's themes and atmosphere were top notch though.
the game is "free" with a ps plus subscription. thats how I played it on PS5 with all its DLC.
Even if you pay for the upgrade you have to play the whole game all over again even if you just want to play the DLC
Fricking annoying
Yeah that's true, at least it's a reason to play it again.
I'll play the next one if the protagonist won't be from the Habsburg dynasty again
Already did, the telekinesis in that game is top notch. Always wanted to see pseudo realistic gravity powers in a game and they nailed it. The main character is not the greatest though, both physically and narratively. But overal a decent game.
It's probably the most fun I had with monkeybrain throwing since Psi-Ops.
OI DID YOU JUST DEW A FOOKIN ROICISM IN MOY VIDYA GAEM?
Don't sleep on shield fyi. I mean you can never touch it and be fine but upgraded I found it just as fun as throw. Made me use the melee more as I was much more often up in enemies faces. The levitating ground smash was also fun.
I did. Was okay. Cool setting and lore, boring gameplay.
I'm stuck at the punch card puzzle. I don't understand what it wants me to do.
You need to enter a code of 5 symbols to run the machine
There are symbols spread around the area
figure - you need to figure out the order
It's one of those puzzles where my brain overcomplicated it.
>ugly woman
>small booba
>small poopa
>mediocre gameplay
