Also their personalities are pretty different, so something "provocative" would fit Monkey better despite being YOUNGER than Lily, whereas Lily has been the japanese salary man's pure daughter for over 10 years across multiple Cygames IPs and has been consistent in each one, so her suddenly getting this very lewd depiction can be kind of a whiplash if before this all she's shown to be is a pure moeblob. Also it's literally just the artwork, her fates don't depict any of that and it's just her usual pure self so it's even more of a dissonance. Now that being said there are definitely people out there being disingenuous about the whole thing and shitposting for the fun of it, or people complaining because she's 12 and not because of the depiction of her character, as well as people complaining just for the sake of complaining, but I can get why there would be people having legitimate complaints about it, even if I don't personally agree with them.
