I think this is an old mistake resulting from translation. In Japanese when you perfectly cook the meat it says
>Jouzu ni yakemashita!
Which translates to "Skillfully Cooked!" or like "Properly Cooked!" which you can take to mean "Well Done" but as in "It was done well", not Well Done like Americans mean.
