Only advice I can give is get ready to roll with a bunch of bullshit. You cannot predict players. Also have combat in waves. If they're cleaning house, just add.more dudes. If they're losing just add some good dudes. It's easy
Don't be afraid to bend the rules or even the story structure. So long as they have fun it's fine.

Combat in 2e is kind of an afterthought. If one of your players gets a few really good rolls, just start describing how heroic they are and how they cause the enemy to panic and rout/surrender. Let your players blow their load and then wrap it up as soon as possible.
Just a tip from someone who has played with multiple 2e groups who all loathed how static the combat was even for a system that uses D20s.

Currently my kingdom is being messed with by that castruccio homosexualini guy, at the same time I have quests in Pitax capital, but at the same time I can't enter it because I already tried to once, got told to leave and now guards won't even bother talking to me. So I am just running around the map hoping something would happen.
Part of me thinks I bricked it, the same way I bricked meeting with Nyrissa by coming to her place with a party (I forgot that she wanted a 1 on 1), but then when I came another time completely alone the door still remained locked.

You're in the Pitax questline, after that one Nyrissa starts invading your kingdom and you have to go to the final dungeon in the game which fricking sucks, you're almost there >but at the same time I can't enter it
It's been a while since I played Kingamker but I believe you first have to repel PItaxian influence, aren't there monsters and bandits attacking your kingdom?
Yeah, I dealt with the gnome that was summoning monsters. Dunno what's the progress on bandits, but I have 0 kingdom events that aren't being tended to, so I guess I just wait. Kingdom system is really miserable sometimes, it's either feast or famine, but I don't want to mod it out either.

A giga hippie. All other rpgs I've played in recent years (bg3, kingmaker, poe2, dos1&2) failed me - it's just not quite working out the way I want. Surely the autism build sim with a dedicated hippie path will deliver. Otherwise the woods will have fallen and billions of seeds must be planted.

It is much better in terms of pacing yeah, so much in fact that they did the exact opposite for it's final dungeon, Nyrissa's funhouse is a fricking long slog, Threshold is extremely short to the point it's boring
Probably. The Warhammer game is coming out in december so they're obviously going to avoid releasing both at the same time, and DLC5 is obviously coming out next month, and I doubt that by some miracle the Citadel one will come out in november
