man, now i fricking get why old porn had shit like pizza delivery drivers and lonely housewives
i just have no interest in creating porn, and all the existing porn mods are just glorified 3d render/animation software. at that point ill just look at screenshots/videos other people have made so there's no effort on my end.
and if i wanted to create porn id use blender, not some unstable hacked together mods with clunky interfaces that crashes 20 times a minute.

The main benefit of working in the sandbox of skyrim is most of the "work" is already done. Lighting generally just werks, there is a basis for physical objects like chairs, and a system for voices and stuff. Creating from scratch, while offering more control, also makes it more difficult to make the same product.
That being said porn mods are Cook brain and stupid just watch someone's animation. You are completely correct a "flash game" style "pick your animation" system would be better.
Defeat is jank kino. Being defeated can get you raped, contract diseases, trauma, imprisoned, made a slave, pregnant, teleported or just provide you with a chance to escape alive after losing in combat etc etc. Need some support mods to make some of these possible but you get the picture, it can make the gameplay a hell of a lot more dynamic rather than just "You died" reload simulator.

Is ShartrimVR worth it nowadays ? I've seen a few people say it and I wonder how the frick modders could've fixed that mess, I still remember the webm of some guy spazzing out at a troll and deleting him in 2 seconds with no feedback.
Note that I am planning on actually playing the game not jerking off.
VRIK gives you a player body and weapon holsters.
Higgs gives you gravity gloves from Alyx and completely redoes the VR handling.
And lastly a few months ago Planck came out and added physical hit reactions and physics based weapons. Sadly no physical blocking yet. It also lets you grab npcs like Blade and Sorcery.
Honorary mentions for Spellwheel VR which lets you select non-holstered weapons and consumables without opening menus. And whatever mod let you use a cursor in the menus. There's a bunch more to unfrick archery and improve spellcasting and whatnot. A mod that enemies drop all their none-equipped items on death so you can physically pick them up. And the equipped stuff you can just rip off their bodies with HIGGS anyway.
It's incredibly impressive what these people managed to do.
Damn, this is beyond fixing the game. Can't believe the most half assed port out there is probably the closest thing to a fully fleshed open world VR RPG
Since this came out, the mod also added NPCs actually reacting hostile to being grabbed.

I just fixed my water mods which was the last major thing wrong with my VR mod setup of 65 mods.
Now if only the mountains stopped flickering. It's the last fricking thing to fix but I have tried everything and they still do it. I'll just ignore it and actually play the game now. Tired of rerunning dyndolod 5 times a day.
