It's pretty friendly considering you can farm dupes daily and weapons max out at 1 dupe.
More importantly, it is very easy to get all the clear rewards besides the ranking autism stuff.
You will simply be time-gated at the beginning as your character's level cannot exceed your account level (unless they changed this)
Afaik, they make most of their money off cosmetics which are pure sex.
I would spend money on this game but I have no idea how the currency system works. All I wanted was the Lyfe outfit from the last even and then the red haired girl's outfit but it's barred behind some weird ticket system I don't understand.
Not sure if Lyfe's skin is still running. Tess's outfit from the BP can be bought by buying the advanced battle pass. You have to buy bitgold first from the bitgold shop (blue cubes at the top of the screen when you're at the quartermaster.) Can probably find a video to make it easier to understand.
In short: You have to turn cash into their currency first and then use that currency to buy stuff.
The currencies are actually pretty straightforward since almost all of them have a single use case. The only ones that don't are your standard fare; gems, normal money, premium cashshop gold.
I heard that originally the game had a male playable character and the chinks actually rioted hard enough for the male playable character to be replaced by a female equivalent. Sounds funny if true.

SSR Fenny will carry you through most of the game. SSR Yao is stronger but only if you have her signature weapon. Fenny doesn't need her signature weapon to do well.

It's a start if you want to actually use her as a dps and not a support because of her cc. Getting dupe means you can unlock her first manifestation tier. Get her sig and then you'll have a playable 5lyfe. Ideally you'd want her M3 as well to keep her skill up longer, but M1 is good enough to have some fun.

the male was just removed and the early story was rewritten to erase him.
