As I understand it, the Sylvanas jerk session was predominantly Afrasiabi.
She's not even the only girl in her game series with massive tis, yet she's been highly popular on the roster, despite being a side character at best in the main story. The breasts are great, especially since her infamous new walk in the Xrd era, but she's also fun/rewarding to play, and the whole samurai schtick is cool. She's a good blend of various factors.
One, Baiken is hot as frick and has massive breasts. Two, her missing eye and arm are part of her classic samurai schtick and a permanent reminder of her need for revenge that drives the character. Three, they are actually factored into her fighting style in a fun and cool way.
We may not have met this character from War Within yet, but can you safely say she's going to match the three points above? Or is she going to be some boxes checked and "look, a strong and powerful one of them cripple types, ignore our bosses molesting female employees again please"?
Because this character was made by the genius company that made the "Diversity Space Method", a fricking chart to measure diversity. Everyone with a brain knows that why her design looks like this.

I am a wowgay, it's pretty much the only video game I play. I read the books and actively read wiki articles and fan theories for fun. I don't raid, but play it for collections, achievements and enjoying roleplaying.

There is an addon called Cross-RP that makes it much easier. There is a flask you can equip to be able to speak to opposite faction as well. I believe you can group with opposite factions now?

Like, MMO-wise? WoW is almost certainly still the best, but MMOs in general are garbage. There's really only, like, four that are profitable and receive frequent updates.
What are you looking for and are you willing to play private servers for older games that are past their time? For the latter, I will say that two of the major downsides are both extremely cliquey behavior and corruption among the staff.

There are very hardcore raider/mythic+ players, and your omega casuals like you mention who do pet collecting and transmog.
WoW has no real content for the middle of those two extremes and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

No, most players just want interesting backdrops to do dungeons/raids in that are different than the last expansion.
The story has been told through too many mediums that are not the video game to keep up with for your average wowgay. Books, short stories, lore bibles, audio dramas, etc.
At blizzcon they mentioned adding some sort of in game lore compendium in the future, and that the "worldsoul saga" set of expansions story will be mostly self contained aka you can experience all of it in the game

After briefly being given a free sub and whatever else and trying it for a bit, I can guarantee you most do not give a shit. If you brought up all the woke shit that gets posted in threads here, at best you'll get a confused response or at worst, they just don't care and continue on with whatever grind treadmill they're on.

Shadowlands functionally ruined any ability to tell a compelling story within the Warcraft setting, and on top of that Dragonflight has proven that they don't have writers/creatives who could tell a compelling story even if that weren't the case. I can't imagine that a single person is still even remotely interested in the story or lore of Warcraft, and this is coming from someone who used to live and breath that shit. At this point, they would probably be better off just cutting the story entirely and focus on making fun activities. Plunderstorm was okay, do more shit like that, but with a bit more effort put into it.
