they abolished the pseudo-energy system long ago. Each Warframe used to have 4 revives that reset each day.
Around closed beta it was spending credits to revive yourself (game was insanely hard back then due to unrefined combat system and no power creep yet)

when you go fishing you know exactly what you are going to do and get thanks to the bait and time mechanics. This allows "focused grind" when you have like 3hrs booster and then rack up 100+ Murkrays
warframe has a couple things that have stupid long grind, but 90% of the grind is fairly easy
hunting down godrolls and red borders in destiny is a fricking slog, and trying to get triple 100 stat armor for every build is a pain in the ass

The best time of the game for me was playing with my friend in the beta, exploring the derelicts and taking our time and being squishy. Last time I played a few years back I had my own ship and some sort of town to go to and like 7 billion currencies and 20 billion mechanics, but when I hit play, it was literally just me and my friend speed flying through the game again while mashing our AoEs.

Emerald archon shard. You can cram up to five archon shards and pick a buff from each one. Emerald offers some crazy boosts to toxin and corrosive.
If you got Helminth unlocked and the Archon Shard module installed, you can slap them on any frame. You can choose which benefit the shard grants between 5 options. You can do this up to 5 shards as long as there aren't more than three stacks of one particular buff. You either get them through Archon Hunts (gotta clear New War), run Necracells (get through Whisper in the Walls story, also a while into the game), or get lucky and watch a livestream where they hand them out.
Build the bow for crit/crit DMG/hunter munitions and just have a build with some strength and duration, that's not hard. I use her in steel path all the time with just a max duration spy build.

There is not much fun past the first 100 though. You spend most of it grinding thinking the high level content will be even better only for the paint in the walls to begin to rip off and show a progressive descent in story and mission quality.
i remember spending like 40hr+ alone to refine my Oberon Prime build. I think that's one of the main fun aspect of the game too. You can follow the jack of all trade, the most popular build, or just whip up some crazy niche build on your own.

Warframe is completely free, I've spent maybe $40 on it over the years (maybe more, I'm not sure) just because I enjoy the game but you in no way need to.
Warframe is the better game by a wide margin. Pick Volt as your starting frame from the three free frames, Volt is a very good starter that can do everything and is relevant forever.

I've tried because I'm a sucker for dogshit grinding games like Path of Exile or BDO but Warframe I can never last more than a couple hours. the aesthetic is not to my taste at all, every frame looks basically moronic to me which is just my opinion, but the six billion different currencies and quests and other stupid shit and the confusing progression combined with realizing that most frames/weapons don't actually have interesting combos or builds they're just the exact same thing you're already doing but with bigger numbers just kills it for me. from minute 1 to hour 10,000 the game just doesn't change at all and that's not enough to hold me when the base combat doesn't feel that good. compared to say path of exile where the builds have enough depth that putting together a unique build is rewarding enough on its own, or BDO where the combat depending on the class of course is complex enough to keep me engaged for a long time.

Then you reconcile his gay lover's longing for Albrecht during the quest as his feelings of abandonment are starting to allow the Man in the Wall to breach more of his minions through the cracks in reality due to their proximity to the Void.

The best time of the game for me was playing with my friend in the beta, exploring the derelicts and taking our time and being squishy. Last time I played a few years back I had my own ship and some sort of town to go to and like 7 billion currencies and 20 billion mechanics, but when I hit play, it was literally just me and my friend speed flying through the game again while mashing our AoEs.

Emerald archon shard. You can cram up to five archon shards and pick a buff from each one. Emerald offers some crazy boosts to toxin and corrosive.
How do these work and how much of a grind are they?
If you got Helminth unlocked and the Archon Shard module installed, you can slap them on any frame. You can choose which benefit the shard grants between 5 options. You can do this up to 5 shards as long as there aren't more than three stacks of one particular buff. You either get them through Archon Hunts (gotta clear New War), run Necracells (get through Whisper in the Walls story, also a while into the game), or get lucky and watch a livestream where they hand them out.

There is not much fun past the first 100 though. You spend most of it grinding thinking the high level content will be even better only for the paint in the walls to begin to rip off and show a progressive descent in story and mission quality.
i remember spending like 40hr+ alone to refine my Oberon Prime build. I think that's one of the main fun aspect of the game too. You can follow the jack of all trade, the most popular build, or just whip up some crazy niche build on your own.

You can (legally, without violating any TOS or anything) sell things to paypigs via the Warframe third party auction website and then use their paypig money to buy things you want.
Warframe is completely free, I've spent maybe $40 on it over the years (maybe more, I'm not sure) just because I enjoy the game but you in no way need to.
Warframe is the better game by a wide margin. Pick Volt as your starting frame from the three free frames, Volt is a very good starter that can do everything and is relevant forever.

I've tried because I'm a sucker for dogshit grinding games like Path of Exile or BDO but Warframe I can never last more than a couple hours. the aesthetic is not to my taste at all, every frame looks basically moronic to me which is just my opinion, but the six billion different currencies and quests and other stupid shit and the confusing progression combined with realizing that most frames/weapons don't actually have interesting combos or builds they're just the exact same thing you're already doing but with bigger numbers just kills it for me. from minute 1 to hour 10,000 the game just doesn't change at all and that's not enough to hold me when the base combat doesn't feel that good. compared to say path of exile where the builds have enough depth that putting together a unique build is rewarding enough on its own, or BDO where the combat depending on the class of course is complex enough to keep me engaged for a long time.

Edgy boy has a spammable teleport that simply moves you to where you point it, or otherwise tags enemies with an immediate heavy melee attack. In both instances it gives you a 20 sec buff that makes you always red crit.
Then, he has a spell that chains enemies together making single target damage become AOE.
THEN he has a gigantic AOE rain of daggers that continuously increases his combo count just by touching enemies (and also kills everything because it does Bleed, which goes through shields and armour)
So whenever you want to play anything stabby, Kullervo is essentially a cheat code with spammable teleporting mobility. It's just fun.
And Sevagoth is just classy.
He's pretty simple and honestly the least "fun" of the three, but there is something to be said about standing in the middle of a room with your pimp coat while your invulnerable shadow mauls everything to death. He is also a cheat to bypass any limitations you may have during a "rank up" test, since you can suicide by enemy gun, which will then spawn his shadow, and allow you to go around killing everything and reviving yourself endlessly as Sevagoth just can't die so long as there are any enemies to be killed left.

>cast Collective Curse, which links everybody together so they all take the same amount of damage from every source
