Removing buttons isn't inherently bad, especially >press X exclusively and solely to allow you to press y which can only be pressed after pressing X
Making everyone press buttons that do the exact same things at the exact same times is.
>normies play SMN in SB/ShB >complain about "ruin spam" despite that being a minor part of the job >SMN gets reworked solely to counteract "ruin spam" >it now has even fewer buttons to press, with all of them just being ruin 3 but in a different color >also on an unrelated side note, we're getting rid of 1-2-3 on every other job so you can just mash 1 the entire time despite this being the stated reason to rework other jobs

Until it becomes enforced to combat """"button bloat""""", freeing up space to add more 120s OGCDs

I would unironically prefer them to use rotations akin to PvP ones rather than having sticker trio bs like SAM. Its just as braindead, uses space unnecessarily and could be replaced for more oGCDs
>2.5s GCD >still needs everything culled down to a single-button rotation because "muh button bloat"
who the frick even plays this game now
why would anyone play this over just picking up an actual RPG
As long as it's forced, I can't say I care. Removing buttons sucks dick in my opinion because it's less engaging and it takes you out of where you are in your rotation. MNK in PvP is unplayable to me because with the entire combo on one button I have no fricking clue where I am in that combo chain without looking down at my bar.
"There won't be heavy changes to jobs in 7.0, but that's the plan for 8.0"
You have 2 routes: Cope about it because "7.0 is the graphics rework expansion and that took time" or understand he lies through his teeth and nothing will change 3 years from now in 8.0
I really don't care too much at this point.
I'm used to the zogged to the eyeballs content design and jobs, I'm there for exploration content (eureka bozjalike), the XI raids and maybe a fun story.
8.0 can rework the game all it wants for raiders but I know I'm not touching savage or ultimate in 7.x with yours.
>we know you don't like this pizza we made so please wait three more years for our ovens and ingredient to improve, we hope you'll continue supporting us until then
Mazed wowrats are truly insane for thinking this is acceptable in any capacity.
The problem is that voting with your wallet doesn't work anymore, since all the Second Life/IMVU modbeasts pay their sub, even if Yoshi P said the game was never having any new content again
It genuinely caught me off-guard when he just straight-up said it out loud. >yeah the game's a boring homogenized mess for both raiders and roulette heroes >we'll make it good again eventually, probably >it's on the priority list with egi glamour and housing item limits lmao
Isn't Yoshi P the same dude that said FF16 had to change away from its RPG roots and go more toward pure action because the kidz like Call of Duty and GTA? I think it was in a skill up interview.
The guy honestly seems clueless. He was a good producer for finding talent to turn the game around from a mess into a janky but decent game but is he honestly a great director? He seems clueless.
He was the idiot saying shit on the XVI marketing trail.
Ironically he was only a producer so it was really weird for him to be talking so much and saying so much weird shit.
Anyway, XVI had a solid team working on it. I was hyped as frick to have a game directed by Takai but it seems like Yoshida may have done too much meddling even as a producer.
What killed the hype for me was the XVI collab paired with it still being unreleased.
I've consumed no media about XVI, haven't seen anything since the 2nd trailer, only read Yoshida's interviews and I'll play the fricking game blind but god do I hope Takai and Suzuki saved it.
pls no, say no mo
I got what I wanted anyway without Takai. Saga: EB filled the gaping hole in my heart that's been there since TLR & SG.
The way I'm looking at XVI is maybe I'll be surprised like SoP but that fricking XVI collab was shit. I did it on 25ms PING and 150 with a bunch of jobs over different characters and it just felt fricking wrong. Hopefully the mechanics it introduced feel at home in game, I'll see.
>and I'll play the fricking game blind but god do I hope Takai and Suzuki saved it.
meh. no spoilers but its fricking shit. imagine HW but a single player game with the same linear dungeons filled with trash. Thats basically it.
I really don't care too much about the story or setting. I'm expecting Ivalice-lite and not much else.
Gameplay is what really matters to me, if it's raw garbage like XIII or XV I'll play it once, dump it, disown it and accept that a good team can produce shit.

VJ2 actually has secrets to unlock, unlike 16. It sucks but 16 is just stuck at the bottom of the action hierarchy, they got competent people but it does feel like they were held back on purpose. It's hard to describe, it just could've been do much better than it was
It's going to get the same reception as Ghost of Tsushima is now once it's on PC, has some flaws but it's overall a good game with absolute kino high points but just a few too many low points

same, I'm taking solace in the fact that it's couched between two other expansions that are... also kinda mediocre looking, but should be at least decent
Still stunned no one involved thought to ask "Hey uh, is this completely legal? Someone made sure this isn't going to be a problem with Square-Enix right?" They even included the fricking copyright legalese at the bottom like they got permission or something, utterly absurd from top to bottom. Very stupid people.

You can't really rank the cities in an real order, they all have good houses and bad houses.
Goblet: >+gorgeous center >-as you get to the outer wall houses get worse >-No good larges
Mist: >+Gorgeous coastline houses >-Houses in center are an absolute mess of white >-Very few private feeling houses
Gridania >+Prettiest overall aesthetic >-every house has these weird low res mud walls some ruining the feel of the plot >-center house are a bit disorganized
Shirogane >+Best Larges >-basically staring at the roofs of other people's houses in the high value spots, RIP if you get a paissa neighbor
I think the mist does the beach a bit better, and as a whole I'm not a huge fan of the overly red asian look but its got some good ones, its definitely a high tier overall but I cant stress how easy it is to ruin Shirogane with one Paissa or Candy house.
Like both of the best larges in Shirogane have a house RIGHT in front of them. You're just asking for it.
>had a goblet house in front of teh pool and next to a waterfall >got rid of it to get an ishgard house
It's by the hot springs and I have no direct neighbor but a downgrade in every regard...
People sleep on the Goblet so hard. I have the medium by the pool, only have neighbors on the other side of the stairs out of view, the only thing that could make me move is crystarium housing.
>Ishgard >GREY
honestly, yeah. the zone is depressing to be in. I thought it would be comfy like skyrim or something but its just really not very fun to hang out in.
Played since the launch of the original, game has only gotten worse with every expansion. Even ARR was a downgrade over the original. Quit during Shadowbringers cause I couldn't deal with how boring and poorly desogned it is.

Well specifically as it relates to ff14 when your mmo hinges on a story after the story 'ends' it's inevitable you're going to have issues.

>Well specifically as it relates to ff14 when your mmo hinges on a story after the story 'ends' it's inevitable you're going to have issues
The story didn't really begin until post Stormblood really. They had no plan until then the Ascians were just generic bad guys doing bad stuff in the background. The fact this story is starting out with a plan makes me more optimistic.

Hello there, b***h. Are you comfortable right now? I doubt it. Wrists and ankles chained. Gagged. Probably blind folded. You are disoriented and scared, too, I would imagine. Perfectly normal, under the circumstances. For a little while, at least, you need to get your shit together and listen to this tape. It is very relevant to your situation. I’m going to tell you, in detail, why you have been kidnapped, what’s going to happen to you and how long you’ll be here. I don’t know the details of your capture, because this tape is being created July 23rd,1993 as a general advisory tape for future female captives. The information I’m going to give you is based on my experience dealing with captives over a period of several years. If, at a future date, there are any major changes in our procedures, the tape will be upgraded. Now, you are obviously here against your will, totally helpless, don’t know where you’re at, don’t know what’s gonna happen to you. You’re very scared or very pissed off. I’m sure that you’ve already tried to get your wrists and ankles loose, and know you can’t. Now you’re just waiting to see what’s gonna happen next. You probably think you’re gonna be raped and you’re frickin’ sure right about that. Our primary interest is in what you’ve got between your legs. You’ll be raped thoroughly and repeatedly, in every hole you’ve got. Because, basically, you’ve been snatched and brought here for us to train and use as a sex slave. Sound kind of far out? Well, I suppose it is to the uninitiated, but we do it all the time. It’s gonna take a lot of adjustment on your part, and you’re not gonna like it a frickin’ bit. But I don’t give a big rat’s ass about that. It’s not like you’re gonna have any choice about the matter. You’ve been taken by force, and you’re going to be kept and used by force. What all this amounts to is that you’re gonna be kept naked and chained up like an
>MMOs are a dead fricking genre.
I think they are streamlining the game on purpose so that it appeals to zoomers and gen A. They know the people who grew up with MMOs don't really play them anymore.
They dont care about veterans anymore. The real money is getting newcomers into the game. They probably saw it like >Hey, if we lose the 10% of players who played since ARR, we gain 30% more players by making the game easier.
Personally, I'm just waiting for the inevitable anger against this game when people start to realise it's garbage and unsub en masse. I just want to see Yoshi P squirm and admit how much they fricked the game up compared to the SB days.
Unfortunately it won't happen because the audience is full of tumblrcore losers who can be easily distracted by hanging images of Emet or Graha in their face like one would entertain a toddler. Yoshida knows he has these people by the balls so long as he tosses out ancients on a frequent basis. It also doesn't help that XIV has no strong competition. Yes, WoW exists, but so much of its image has been tainted whereas XIV lives without controversy related to devs, acquirement, working conditions, etc
Lmao you're delusional. All the people that came in during ShB could frick off and nothing would change, because the people that continue playing this game are FF fans, and it's not a small indie franchise
>I'm just waiting for the inevitable anger against this game when people start to realise it's garbage
That'll never happen because the audience consist of autists.
14 isnt exactly fun, its a glorified single player game with a sub, most of the people have already formed their groups and barely interact outside of Crystals ERP stuff.
Its infested with broken minded people and modbeasts who can't live without their modded characters.
>Its infested with broken minded people
My guy that is MMOs in general. If you are subsidising socialisation through MMOs, as opposed to going outside, there is something wrong with you mentally.
Dont sugar coat it, theres a limited amount of houses in the game and its also has extremely bad latency issues ontop of combat being slow compared to most other mmos.
I think that's what it's going to do. >New World done and dusted >Expac leads into Meracydia shit >Leads into Hingashi expac >more shard hopping after that
Meracydia doesn't have to be just dragons, it's basically fantasy Australlia, I'm sure theres plenty they could do with that lik abbos for the tribal quests and introduce the new Bogan tank class that has stealing and huffing petrol as a core gameplay mechanic
It disgusts me that we're still getting the Scions crammed down our throats, this would have been the perfect time to rest them for a while and introduce an entirely new cast of characters.
It'll never happen because off all the fujos lusting after them.
Genuinely don't know why longform games with an ensemble cast keep making this mistake. To compare gacha stories(lol), Granblue does the XIV thing of keeping a core cast throughout its 10 year story, while FGO has a fairly consistent rotating cast of characters. The latter is remembered more fondly for its story than the former. A closer comparison is FFXI has a similar expansion format to XIV unsurprisingly, but it will introduce a new main group for the player character to interact with each time and past expansion characters will still do stuff, but their primary story arc is done. It just functions better as standalone stories, and your writers can do more with character dynamics and conflicts.
The core Scions are literally relegated to background NPCs and join you for one dungeon. DT does exactly what you want, a new cast. >Wuk >Erenville >Krile >Twins >G'raha
By all means it is a god awful cast, but you got what you wanted.
7 is the only thing that I am mildly looking forward to, seeing that we get some Shtola kino. Her parts in the MSQ are consistently the best ones.

I'll bite. How has her character developed beyond just being an accessory to Alphi's character arc?

Her whole thing with Tesleen and helping develop the cure for light corruption/tempering was her own story independent of Alphinaud. But her personality hasn't undergone any significant changes. They won't even age the twins up because of autstic fans so I doubt the cute hothead fangirl characteristic is ever gonna change. Alphinaud probably would have never gotten his development if everyone didn't hate him in ARR.
She got some in Shadowbringers and coils of bahamut, but yeah her character appears to just be "headstrong teenage girl". Granted that's most of the women in the Scions, the dudes mostly get good growth but the chicks are just there to be pretty. Thancred, Epsteinien, and Alf have pretty impressive character arcs, can't think of a single woman in the game that compares.

If they didn't kill him in ShB I doubt they'd kill him here so I'd guess he's just retiring for some reason.
I'd be fine with more of the scions if anything ever actually fricking happened with them >Y'shtola is hunting for knowledge... again... (her sister still hasn't made an appearance in the actual story) >Alphinaud's character arc is over after the crystal braves so he's just Alisaie's tard wrangler now >Thancred literally fricking died on-screen and then showed up in the next scene like nothing happened, and continues to do so despite no longer having involvement or motivation in the plot after returning to the Source instead of staying on the First >Urianger's schtick is so overplayed that they tried to lampshade it in EW and still failed to give him anything meaningful to do
>Thancred literally fricking died on-screen and then showed up in the next scene like nothing happened
This is a weirdly recurring theme in the entire story. It's no wonder people cling to Haurchefant so thoroughly, it's a character death that actually meant something and wasn't immediately reverted through some means or another. I wish Papalymo got more screen-time before his death, I feel like he would've had a more lasting impact if he wasn't basically a background character up until then.
I still can't fricking believe they made a big part of EW about making a MSQ contingent out of job quest npcs, even advertised the expansion on it, and left out the one fricking job npc who's actually a direct relative of one of the Scions.
On that note, I also can't believe they didn't involve a single one of the job npcs that have a backstory revolving around Garlemald.
The MNK npc is the rightful heir to ala mhigo and has never had a single msq appearance despite being arguably the most plot relevant job trainer since Estinien.
We already know fron the screenshots and the second hub that its gonna transition from a down to earth adventure in to a Futuristic cyberpunk setting.
Chances are you will discover the remnants of the alagan Empire.
Or it might be a portal to one of the Reflections that has a more advanced race living on it.
>SB >grounded
Its when shit went off the rails. You mistake "grounded = not ascians", but Stormblood tossed so many established things out of the window, presented you with Zenos of all things, made the Garelan forces seem comically incompetent and let you free two provinces in less than two weeks. Stormblood was utter shit.
The garleans were incompetent, THOUGH. Especially Zenos's legion because he didn't care about leading, the simple New Vegas "if east...then west???" shit worked for obvious reasons.

I might resub if they toss me a returning player offer to run through the story. Even then gonna switch to jp or french dub or something. Feels depressing bros.
I am in a similar position. Played since HW and I loved all the jobs back then. DRK with dark arts and having two combos to choose from. AST with its RNG cards that were really fun to use in dungeons or raids. I never cared about the story, only the battle system. But they've progressively made it worse and more simplified. A lot of newcomers came onboard due to SHBs success around that time. So they don't actually know the jobs used to be a lot more fun than what they are currently.
>Tanks >two combos
Ah yes, the enmity combo, the thing you pressed once and then never again the entire fight. I'll give you the animations were sick, and I would have prefered if they got reworked into REAL 2nd combos, but tanks were never all that good in this game.
I think the bigger issue is the new framework they have for jobs now are fundamentally solid, they just refuse to expand them to any meaningful depth, and just sorta tack on finishers. Dark Knight has gotten a finisher 3 expansions in a row. Now its lv 80 finsher is going to proc a lv 100 finisher, but hey at least bloodspiller spam is finally gone.
>I think the bigger issue is the new framework they have for jobs now are fundamentally solid, they just refuse to expand them to any meaningful depth, and just sorta tack on finisher
Its pretty blatant that they want to move difficulty from the classes to the encounters. Having a deep class with faliure states does not mesh with Criterion tier bosses.
To me this is why Dark Knight is so polarizing as a job.
If you like it you probably play it as a hardcore raider, where all its tools shine, TBN gains a lot of depth, and it honestly just clicks.
If you hate it you probably play casual content, and you hate it because its the tank with the buttons that barely work
and the strange thing is both of these can be true at the same time.
I agree DRK in casual content kinda sucks.
If you're moderately geared TBN feels kinda shit outside of trash pulls and if you have a WHM you may as well just leave the dungeon.
I think part of it's to do with how slow the enemies attack too, it's a problem with the battle system in general, you don't get lots of little attacks hitting you every second 'cause healers need time to yoyo your HP, it's every few seconds so time a TBN wrong and it won't pop.
At minilvl or doing a dungeon with buds in NQ vendor gear it's alright but that's fricking around.
It also doesn't help that beyond ilvl sync hard lvl sync sucks the fun out if you're below like 70, you get into a dungeon, no delirium, no TBN and you're just a shitty WAR with a magic mit when there's like no magic mobs anywhere. Give me a rope.
Anonymous
Its more than that, in casual content you can honestly just take dark mind and dark missionary off your bar as its overwhelmingly physical damage.
Meanwhile Dark Mind in high end content has a strong argument to be made for it being the most busted tank mit in the game.
Anonymous
Yeah.
I'm glad they added in the mod for damage types, I get to use dark mind a bit more on the few bosses that do magic damage but yeah it's so rare.
I loved using it in Eureka and Bozja but the lack of midcore or challenging content really hurts if you like DRK.
I don't like Savage, tried it but I hate the faffing about in PF, the gay youtuber strats and the community. That's not meant as an insult towards people who love savage or ultimate btw, just the gap between casual content and letting the jobs shine. If that describes you then DRK's a cool job with a kit limited by content difficulty and design.
then they need to up the encounter design in everything else because most players don't do Criterion or Savage. Shit like Myths of the Realm skiping mechanics with blind pugs on launch day aren't ok
you're not the only one. I also played since 2.0 and was hoping with the whole "starting new story arc" that they would make more bold changes particularly for classes, and non raid content. Dead tired of trash pack-> trash pack -> boss in dungeons and those annoying solo instance scripted battles where you can just get hit by nearly everything and still win.
they even started adding walls so you cant pull too much trash. like wtf just let us do what we want? if we want to mass pull then let us. why add walls to artificially limit how much we can pull.
To cater to healers that can't keep up/limit tanks that's don't actually know how to wall to wall mitigate and die.
Also they micromanage the amount of health enemies have and deal to an exact amount for a designed max pull to make sure healers/tanks always have a little more than enough in their kit each to deal with it all.
Which I'm sure that won't bite them in the ass with future balance changes
>to make sure healers/tanks always have a little more than enough in their kit each to deal with it all.
Do you even play this game? Healers barely have to press a single cd in dungeons.
To account for those bad healers/tanks where you sometimes have to, yes.
You can read it like >always have more than enough in their kit
and the initial point still stands
>they even started adding walls so you cant pull too much trash
I get the adding walls part but what really fricks me off is adding walls and enforced single pulls. The 85 dungeon is fricking garbage for this.
I played 1.0, have my name in the credits for legacy gays. I started losing steam in Shadowbringers but Endwalker was rather the last straw before I went ultra casual. Dawntrail has left me rather "mid" towards it. If it ends up being post Endwalker MSQ levels of bad I'm just going to let my large house that I've had since housing launched go and quit for good.
I'd really like to start the expansion at launch so I can see the new PvE stuff when it's new and think it's fresh and incredible and suffer the honeymoon period at the same time as everyone, but I haven't played since well before the first fall guys event or even finished EW story yet and playing it just sounds like a chore. Plus I missed the only event I kinda cared a little about.
Feels bad man.
One thing that really annoys me about FFXIV is how every event must take place in Ul'dah, Gridania or Limsa because otherwise new players won't be able to participate. So Kugane, Crystarium, Tural, etc will never have an event.
Reaper in Uldah felt somewhat justified with how they wrote it, but I actually can't remember the Sage starting quest and that's my main healer class. It was in Limsa right?
I mean I get it.
They tried putting them in an expansion area once and you saw how that turned out, if you wanna do DRK/AST/MCH you are firmly locked into buying a boost or playing another job until you reach HW then busting out 20 levels to continue.
I have no problem with like NPCs and the first/introductory quest being in Eorzea then making the real job quests take place in expansion areas. You won't need those abilities until you reach that content since almost everything is gay baby jail locked until you complete the story or buy a skip.
>have urge to pay sub and go get that armor >remember that there's still no content so there's no point to outfitting my character to look cool
Yep, I'm not coming back.
>Are these good numbers or bad numbers?
Intentionally misleading numbers because the person who made it refused to show what filters he used on the player search
>looked it up >it's Alpha - Light
Hold on, I'm on Alpha - Light and I'm unsubbed atm
Am I responsible for making this screenshot possible? I could've been that 200th Limsa dweller...
So, why do parse troons not measure in "potency dealt", ignoring all random shit like crits? Wouldn't that be a way more honest way of measuring performance? Is it because they then would realize how fricking stale the combat is?
Any job is fine if you grind CC, if you wanna do FLs then SCH is chill if you don't wanna think too much and have some impact, otherwise well-played melees are king. If wanna try Rival Wings then something like SMN is versatile if you're new.
Brainlet here
Are these good numbers or bad numbers?
[...]
Frick, that's kinda fire. Can I reach rank 30 in less than 2 days? (I'm likely spending over half my free login days farming the Yokai event)
>Can I reach rank 30 in less than 2 days?
It's possible, but you'll be spamming CC matches ALL day
Mostly because we don't know what to expect. The main plot is over and the post EW patches did jack shit to hype us up for the new expansion.
I am going to reserve my opinions for when I'm actually playing the damn thing, because right now it's either pretending everything is perfect when there are glaring issues with the game as it is, or doomposting and falseflagging as a blizzdrone.
I am optimistic, but this is a very delicate moment. If they fail to sell the next conflict we might be facing WoW's equivalent of Shadowlands.

The only thing that is hyping me up in this game is the fact that gil RMT prices are skyrocketing and i will be able to sell my billions of gil for a very good price.
Hopefully won't be long till FF players are in the same boat, Endwalker post launch was the wake up call. S-E are in the total shitter with FF14 their only money maker so they won't want to take any risk and just pump same old shit into it.
Hated that shit in the 8 months or so I was in housing lottery hell. I'd find some place with no entries with a day left, come back 12 hours later and 2 other people entered, which of course means my shit tier luck ass is not getting it.
>play male roe >no one bothers me >is peaceful >fanta to grizzy lion man >instantly bombarded by gays and trannies
welp i guess i'm switching back. i dont know what i expected.
I hope you b***hes actually wont play this game because I don't want the 10-20 hour login queues on Dawntrails launch. That shit made me so mad last time.
My hype died the moment SB got announced, didnt like the whole asian aesthetics, then it revived by edgykino for ShB. Then it died again by the end of ShB and somehow got worse during EW. I dont think am coming back for DT
bit of XIV catchup on a character.
XI, still doing emerald beyond runs too, Frontier II, bit of FF V & II on a handheld and breath of the wild with the intent to finally try ToTK.
Next games on the list for the year are SMT V and Tokimeki Memorial, started tokimeki a few weeks back but I know I don't have time to sink into it.
What you playing in your downtime?
I wish there was a sense of character progression in this game. Something like XI relics, where you can spend months incriminatally working towards an achievement that's not only a status symbol, but has a tangible use and benefit in the main gameplay loop.
>want to get the physical collector's edition for the map, book, and case >ugly mid quality figurine must be included and probably is boosting the price by $60-80
Hate this fricking shit. If it's not sculpted by Good Smile, Alter, MAYBE Kotobukiya, don't fricking bother. Probably can't even resell it for the amount it's increasing the CE's price.
This. I would have bought the collector's edition for every expac if they didn't come with those shit figs. The arr one was the first and only I bought.
I haven't played MCH since Stormblood and I enjoyed it then but I just came back for the returner trial and was leveling it and it feels sort of boring now. Does it feel better at 90? Or should I just play SAM or BLM?
>I haven't played MCH since Stormblood and I enjoyed it then
Every job you enjoyed in SB is massively worse compared to it used to be. Maybe with the exception of WHM or something. All of them have been simplified and homogenised
I've played other jobs when I come back for a time in SHB and EW, but I was just thinking about picking MCH back up. I might not even resub for Dawntrail but I was getting an itch to play again
Crystal kinda sucks. It's full of mediocre players who for some reason still talk a lot of shit. Maybe I'll play Dawntrail on one of the other NA servers. Which is the best one?
I'm gonna be honest, they're all the same now with DC travel. Aether is historically the "raiding" server but their clear rates have always been only a couple percent higher than Primal and at least 30% lower than the lowest JP server. It really doesn't matter anymore, just visit Aether to prog and get the same results as you would on crystal or primal.
>spend 4 expansions building up the Void with intermittent stories and recurring characters >the entire thing gets resolved without any of that being called up by a new character who's treated as the WoL's equal despite doing nothing on-screen >all of the existing setup for the thirteenth is just left hanging with no resolution and has no reason to be called back
who the frick is responsible for 6.2~6.5
it's so ridiculously tacked on, it's blatantly obvious no one planned for it
>"spend 4 expansions building up the Void with intermittent stories and recurring characters" >void is literally said to be empty fricking wasteland with nothing in it
wow, what a build up
There is no good reason Unulkalhai and Clyva weren't involved in this MSQ at all. If anything they should've been elevated to the protagonists like G'raha instead of making it all about some amnesia ridden OC.
That's their problem. They should start including characters and plot lines from option content as if everyone had done said content. If they have a problem they can go back and do it.
That was the case for G'raha too, I remember the screaming from MSQ-only morons when they were finally forced to go do Crystal Tower. Frick em. Make the game for people who actually play it.
>Warning: This MSQ will spoil major events of Heavensward's Warring Triad questline and Shadowbringer's Role Quests >Are you okay with that? (Yes/No)
It's truly that easy
I really liked how Ishikawa loved nero and cid then once we reached EW and Garlemald they were just fricking missing.
Still funny to me, I mean I get it. MSQ only players didn't complete the omega raids, when was the last time they really saw nero anyway? SB?
Almost like Cylva was set up to fill the Cecil spot with her own story being a direct parallel to Durante's and they shoved it off onto Poochie the Edgehog instead because they were scared to ask people to gain 10 levels on a dps class.
>So cecil's arc is about questioning past actions and growing beyond that to reconcile with those you love right? What character should get the Cecil analogue? >Hmm how about Pinnochio?
Yeah, redemption isn't a theme at all for Zero. She never did anything wrong herself that asks for redemption, her sudden urge to try and redeem Golbez seems to come out of nowhere. Compare to Cylva whose quest was to try and put to rest the friends she betrayed, and then seek the redemption of their image, and then she was offered redemption herself. It makes a lot more sense for her to be the one trying to redeem Durante after all that. She's also the one who started the Flood of Light just like Durante started the Flood of Darkness. And she's even a DRK with some PLD abilities on top of that.

I don't understand why her "I want to see if I can control the light" was supposed to be emotional or impactful of a moment. It even seems like they sideline Vrtra+Azdjaja to give Zero these faux-emotional beats
3 weeks ago
Anonymous
Yeah, it's a cheap copy of Cecil in the mirror room on Mt. Ordeals but the purpose of him seeing his reflection there was, obviously, because he needed to confront himself and his sins. For Zero she just sees her reflection and decides she wants to eat some light.

The point of that scene was to show, again, that she tried to do everything alone and does infact need other peoples help to accomplish the golas she wants.
That the reason why she wants to help "golbez" because they want to save there planet but both she FINALLY realizes that she need more than just herself. It wasnt redemption arc it was literally the power of friendship basically the enitre theme of the last endwalker..

>She never did anything wrong herself that asks for redemption
She didn't trust Golbez and Durante when she could have been the extra assistance needed to allow them to succeed. Or at least someone for Durante to lean on if Golbez still got Darked. Her failure to trust in others and accept help is why she died pathetically and alone, and contributed to the fall of the 13th. It's not much but it's something. Cylva may have been better suited but these losers writing XIV will never make side content a part of the main story, even though it really should.
But we are lol. Anything that comes out of it like Scarm and Barbie escaping would be an asspull. Maybe the foray will take place there, but that also means it will be utterly irrelevant to the MSQ from now on.
There is no good reason Unulkalhai and Clyva weren't involved in this MSQ at all. If anything they should've been elevated to the protagonists like G'raha instead of making it all about some amnesia ridden OC.
6.1 onwards is meant as new player introduction conteng come 8.0. People will be allowed to freely skip the last 10 years of MSQ. >6.1 was a reintroduction of mostly Estinien and Y'shtola who presumably will be the lead crew for the greater plot going forward >the codex lets new players read up on legacy characters >hamfistedly reintroduce the rest of the crew via Zero
Also had to double as trial series
Same, it's weird, I should be hype, but this is the first expansion with absolutely no buildup or reason for me to care. I don't give a shit about Wuk Lamat and I don't want to put that spastic troony in a position of power.
essex? >lead the team
homie it's a fricking hallway just go >and learn all the mechanics.
tanks can take the most vulnerability stacks without dying and you can always just go dgaf mode, turn your stance off and let the other tank to the work
>I'm too afraid to play tank because I don't want to lead the team and learn all the mechanics.
You don't have to do any of that shit, let the DPS pull for you, use their health bars and arms length/bloodbath as mitigation and do like your 1-2 AOE attacks you'd do anyway.
Learn mechanics? The frick you mean learn mechanics, the healer will patch you up, you can stand in stupid.
Play WAR/DRK, stand in stupid and make it look intentional because you're really skilled at pushing your 15-25s button.
>just point the boss away
I've been playing on EU a bit and I'm surprised at the amount of people I see following me to then get cleaved by one of the very few cleavable mechanics. Had a healer stack on me for a tank laser on thursday and it was that of kill the poor BLM who was fragging out.
I'd honestly say the most skillfull thing you can do on tank in normal/extreme content is ignore mechanics and get full uptime to anything that isnt threatening to you.
Which happens to almost everything.
I do this too.
Another alright one is trying to keep a boss facing a direction if you have a melee with positionals. If a boss turns to cast a mechanic and a SAM/MNK/DRG/RPR moves into place while it finishes its slow ass attack I'll move so they can do the positional. Only seen a few tanks do it for me and it's pretty chill.
I stopped queueing frontlines on my alt, the 44-66% EXP just ain't fricking worth it on the off chance I get lazy and don't notice it's shatter day.
You get shatter, get demotivated, don't queue it the next day, maybe take a day off, your brain forgets you queue it up and it's fricking shatter again because there's only three fricking maps now.

The shitty crystal frontlines map.
It was reworked, then reworked again, and again, and again. At one point it was circular TDM with PVE objectives and 2/3rds of the team would be afk while one alliance got their shit in gear and would stomp battle high.
What was the design reason behind killing non-standard BLM? It was literally optional. It didn't hurt new players at all. It ONLY fricks over the diehard fans.
If you say anything on the OF you get instantly assaulted by several roulette warriors who tell you it was "clunky" or was "not part of the identity" or better yet that it "wasn’t fun anyway".
We don’t know if it’s kill, there’s a number of potential ways it could work with a redone mana system. Mana ticks could also still exist on top of the new shit, we just don’t know.
I had a weird one last week, someone running ACT told me off for sprinting, pulling packs with voke then AOE running through em and up to the 2nd lmao.
Still don't understand why they were upset at voke pulling in a dungeon on trash.
>Still don't understand why they were upset at voke pulling in a dungeon on trash.
What's even the issue here? Provoke has higher range, so you can get aggro from further away and have the mobs move together so you can hit them with a single AoE in case they're spread too far
Only boss I do that with is cerebus in wod and only because morons still stand behind it past the 3rd tail blow >alliance B tank provokes after someone explains that they have to go in belly
good thing I can easily steal aggro back
>>We didn't get 1 minute meta in DT
Just imagining what it's like to get paired with another DNC in a duty with 1 min meta and suddenly I got an urge to tech step feather burst in a chocobo suit in front of a train.
Every complaint about DT just feels weak and coming from someone just tired of the game from playing it too much. Just skip an xpac and come back in 8.0 you homos.
Void patches were good. I only hated Vtra and needing permission to use a tower 2 patches in a row. You zero haters are mental. Nobody gives a frick about cylva
>Void patches were good.
I know there's hate for them but I enjoyed them, had friends who enjoyed them. My biggest complaint is probably that Troia boss 2bh.
Liked the more self contained nature of it, there was no moronic 0 to 60 overdrive to get us into the next expansion. SB's post to ShB was done well up until Elidibus walked away. Then the ShB post to get us to EW was ridiculous. Heavensward had the same issue, tried to put too much in then 0-120 at the last minute.
Yeah it sucks, regardless of the troon shit itd be bad. HOWEVER. There are two troon actors (for admittedly minor roles) in BG3 and they both fricking sucked so I think it’s nepotism hires.
I only play on JP voices because I'm a weeb and all but even there her voice is kind of annoying for her build. Just weird first impressions all around.
Her jp voice makes her feel like a random stand user whose around for like 2 episodes before araki forgets she exists. Part of that is definitely the hat though.
>finishing as Paladin
Good shit. Whenever I joined people from my fc when they first queued up for the trial, I made sure to convince them to play their favorite melee job.
I just can't imagine fighting him as healer, range dps, except maybe Red Mage. Reaper has the mirror match, Dragoon is the same armor class, and Monk and Ninja surely win because their speed is superior. Paladin is probably the most fitting for tanks, but they are all melee in the end and that's what counts for me.
Thematically playing a BLM or like all the healers against Zenos is like playing a lalafell. I can't figure out how that fight would actually function outside of gameplay contrivances.
it works well with all jobs, I always finish every expansion as WHT and still works greats. I imagine after throwing like 50 holys at zenos my WoL just went "frick it" and just started punching the shit out of him.
Pretty much where my stupid old ass is at as well. If they turn vanadiel into a shard I'm making that science project that merked Shinzo Abe and having a talk with Yoshida.
>Alisaie mentions Coils and you can have WoL freak out about Van Darnus >Alphinaud pulls a "Golden Kamuy" moment >Susanoo reference >All capstoned by G'raha's allagantism
Kino
Since Y'shtola was permanently dressed in an oversized, form-concealing shirt, and Yda never showed her face, someone needed to provide the moral boost for the Scions.
>the twins and minfillia get these weird ass outfits >literally every other ARR character wearing 1.0 potato sacks
I liked that it made the game have a low-fantasy aesthetic but then none of the expansions stick with it so eorzeans just look like bums
Tell me about Gunbreakers. Why do they break the guns? Why do their gunblades look so fricking moronic and like they'd be impossible to actually fight with? Why won't they put on some fricking armor if they're tanks? And are the allegations about gay furry sex true?
> Why do they break the guns?
Gunhildr's Blades fought against Allagans and the Allagans used Guns hence Gunbreaker.
>Why do their gunblades look so fricking moronic and like they'd be impossible to actually fight with
Because the original Gunblades from FFVIII look fricking moronic and impossible to fight with. That and the designers for the Gunblades don't take into consideration that the trigger's location has to make sense because its not like they have to animate your character actually pulling it.
>Why won't they put on some fricking armor if they're tanks?
Gunblade makes aether shields, they also do in fact wear armour but its light because Hrothgar can't wear helmets.
>And are the allegations about gay furry sex true?
No. The Gunbreaker job trainer is incredibly straight and even has a viera side piece, his job quest also ends with killing some Garlean BDSM homosexual too.
Ok now tell me about Dark Knights. Why do they dress like Sauron if they're supposed to be good guys trying to inspire the small folk? Why do their animations not seem to agree on whether they're anime swinging their greatswords at fast speed with no effort or struggling to even lift it? Are they still illegal after HW concluded with the church actually being revealed to have been corrupt? Can you really call yourself Warrior of Light if you're throwing dark particles all over the place?
>Dress
It's just a theme, they like to dress like that to inspire terror in the evil people they hunt >Animations
The slower animations are the ones where you aren't using extra aether to power your swings >Illegality
DRKs are technically vigilantes and so should be illegal almost everywhere, rarely is it legal for a third party to just decapitate people because they're """bad""" >WoL
Darkness isn't evil, it's an aspect of aether just like water or lightning and the title Warrior of Light comes from 1.0 and doesn't mean what you think it does.
They're just edgier paladins that are themed around (slightly dirty and vigilante) justice instead of duty, which is probably why they fling around the more chaotic umbral magic (dark is not necessarily bad).
Ok then answer me this last one loremasters. Why are Warriors... like that?
Inner Beast is a primal force that I think technically anyone? can use, but most people will just never tap into it for whatever reason. WARs can tap into it freely (at least the actual competent ones) to massively bolster their physical abilities and heal their wounds. Basically it's soul steroids. Don't ask what the Inner Beast actually is though, it's never expanded upon.

Gorge explains inner beast as being the summation of one's fighting instincts that everyone possess but a Warrior trains to specifically hone and unleash it

Free Paladins are like Superman whereas Dark Knights are like Batman. They're dress like edgelords because they're more about scaring the shit out of their enemies.
> Why do their animations not seem to agree on whether they're anime swinging their greatswords at fast speed with no effort or struggling to even lift it
Because they were partly influenced by Cloud's animations but generally the animations are meant to portray a sense of mass because of how large and heavy the Dark Knight's sword is meant to be
>Are they still illegal after HW concluded with the church actually being revealed to have been corrupt?
Dark Knights aren't illegal, The Real Fray was killed for fighting against the Temple Knights while the Knights in the quest where you meet Sid for the first time only jumped you because the whole Esteem episode spooked the frick out of them.
>Can you really call yourself Warrior of Light if you're throwing dark particles all over the place
Yes. Warrior of Light is just a title for somebody fighting at Hydaelyn's behest, The Necromancer boss from Hero's Gauntlet is also a Warrior of Light
>That and the designers for the Gunblades don't take into consideration that the trigger's location has to make sense because its not like they have to animate your character actually pulling it.
There's this gunblade, I think the Crystarium one, that looks like it'd have been a perfectly looking medieval sword, except instead of just adding a sensible trigger to the guard/handle, they gave it a moronicly long stock that makes it completely and utterly unusable as an actual fencing tool. God I hate it so much.
>facing down the big bad >no hope remaining >scions telling you to dip >teleport them back >throw away own teleporter and ready up for a fight
Holy fricking KINO.
Omicrons by far. Pretty much true conclusion to EW, which makes them true conclusion to the XIV saga (first one).
Loporrits, Pixies and Moogles I feel also contain lore that serves to complement/complete their expansions.
And I just really, really like Amaal'ja, Sahagin, Vanu Vanu, Namazu, Kojin, Ananta, Dwarves and Arkasodara just for the flavor.
Thanks lads. I kinda got burned out after completing the Ixal questline so I want to prioritize

Use arm's length. Don't stack damage reduction abilities with long cooldowns. General rule is to use one defensive cd and one debuff cd, alongside your job specific sustain abilites, unless you have a huge ass pull, where you maybe want to overlap the debuffing ones.
As PLD, you can use invincibility twice per dungeon if you use it early. Use kick to stop one hard hitting enemy from attacking you for 5 seconds.
Some dungeons are going to hit harder than others and some healers are better equipped to deal with it than others.
For GNB you just hit Corundum in between the other cooldowns and keep Aurora up and it's just as easy as playing WAR as long as your healer isn't asleep.
/v/, What are all the things you would do to Wuk if you could? I would personally like for a giant moon to fall on her, leaving a giant crater in the earth.
Lack of competition in the genre makes devs lazy. >What about WoW
Same thing and any other active MMORPG isnt even worth mentioning in same conversation.
I don't really care which should exist. My bafflement is more from the fact they both exist in the current state they are in. The WAR stuff is useful in raids sure but both are primarily dungeon abilities and they're just so different in value.
Even if AD were a giant heal potency or heal based on damage dealt like before it'd be at least comparable in value
FF14 sucks
Just wait until 8.0 for fun gameplay gaijin
Just the fact Yoshi P even mentioned that means he knows people are unhappy with the jobs
I admire his confidence to say that when he shares a launch window with the Elden Ring DLC.
what exactly did he say?
SIMPLIFYING
STREAMLINING
IMPROVING EASE OF ACCESS
IMPROVING ACCESSIBILITY
REDUCING COMPLEXITY
WHAT?! YOU NO HAPPY, GAIJIN??? WAIT FOR 8.0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Removing buttons isn't inherently bad, especially
>press X exclusively and solely to allow you to press y which can only be pressed after pressing X
Making everyone press buttons that do the exact same things at the exact same times is.
>normies play SMN in SB/ShB
>complain about "ruin spam" despite that being a minor part of the job
>SMN gets reworked solely to counteract "ruin spam"
>it now has even fewer buttons to press, with all of them just being ruin 3 but in a different color
>also on an unrelated side note, we're getting rid of 1-2-3 on every other job so you can just mash 1 the entire time despite this being the stated reason to rework other jobs
>>also on an unrelated side note, we're getting rid of 1-2-3
They just make it an optional change. Don't use it if you don't like it.
>2.5s GCD
>still needs everything culled down to a single-button rotation because "muh button bloat"
who the frick even plays this game now
why would anyone play this over just picking up an actual RPG
As long as it's forced, I can't say I care. Removing buttons sucks dick in my opinion because it's less engaging and it takes you out of where you are in your rotation. MNK in PvP is unplayable to me because with the entire combo on one button I have no fricking clue where I am in that combo chain without looking down at my bar.
Good thing it’s optional then
"There won't be heavy changes to jobs in 7.0, but that's the plan for 8.0"
You have 2 routes: Cope about it because "7.0 is the graphics rework expansion and that took time" or understand he lies through his teeth and nothing will change 3 years from now in 8.0
I choose to cope.
It genuinely caught me off-guard when he just straight-up said it out loud.
>yeah the game's a boring homogenized mess for both raiders and roulette heroes
>we'll make it good again eventually, probably
>it's on the priority list with egi glamour and housing item limits lmao
Don't worry, he put it on the fridge so he wouldn't forget 🙂
Just like all those other things he pinned 🙂
>he acknowledges the issue
>implies it will get fixed
>upcoming changes are all centered around raidhomosexualry and esports
it sucks, real bad now
Isn't Yoshi P the same dude that said FF16 had to change away from its RPG roots and go more toward pure action because the kidz like Call of Duty and GTA? I think it was in a skill up interview.
The guy honestly seems clueless. He was a good producer for finding talent to turn the game around from a mess into a janky but decent game but is he honestly a great director? He seems clueless.
he's just the face of ffxiv. he does little to no work on the game. if some shit happens he takes the fall and they replace him
He was the idiot saying shit on the XVI marketing trail.
I've consumed no media about XVI, haven't seen anything since the 2nd trailer, only read Yoshida's interviews and I'll play the fricking game blind but god do I hope Takai and Suzuki saved it.
>but god do I hope Takai and Suzuki saved it.
pls no, say no mo
Thats basically it.
>imagine HW but a single player game
that sounds amazing
>imagine HW
Y'know, back when HW was current I used to say that FFXIV would be better off as a single player rpg.
XIV has a single player game and outside of the boss fights, it's shit.
I really don't care too much about the story or setting. I'm expecting Ivalice-lite and not much else.
Gameplay is what really matters to me, if it's raw garbage like XIII or XV I'll play it once, dump it, disown it and accept that a good team can produce shit.
It’s worse than DMCV but better than XIII or XV
Being better than 13 or 15 is a very low bar.
It’s like Viewtiful Joe 2. It’s fine I guess
VJ2 actually has secrets to unlock, unlike 16. It sucks but 16 is just stuck at the bottom of the action hierarchy, they got competent people but it does feel like they were held back on purpose. It's hard to describe, it just could've been do much better than it was
HW is fricking Shakespeare compared to whatever the frick the XVI story was.
It's going to get the same reception as Ghost of Tsushima is now once it's on PC, has some flaws but it's overall a good game with absolute kino high points but just a few too many low points
This site is so shit. Game are shit until they come to PC then all of a sudden oh oh actually they’re not that bad actually some kino here hmmm
thanks for beta testing, consolebro

same, I'm taking solace in the fact that it's couched between two other expansions that are... also kinda mediocre looking, but should be at least decent
get better material

The absolute state of XIV players
The frick did they do, make a rape dungeon or something?
Paid real money to put up a bilboard advertising their ingame nightclub. They also had modded content on the poster.
oh this is the outcome to that billboard shit a few years ago? did the troony get banned?
What an incredibly fricking stupid thing to do
You're missing the part where not only did they add modded content, they also used clothes that were datamined and not yet released.
>The frick did they do
Still stunned no one involved thought to ask "Hey uh, is this completely legal? Someone made sure this isn't going to be a problem with Square-Enix right?" They even included the fricking copyright legalese at the bottom like they got permission or something, utterly absurd from top to bottom. Very stupid people.
The best part of this is still that they did it with the datamined assets for the upcoming event too. That part's kinda lost looking back on it.
I live in Houston and almost got in a wreck when I saw this off I-10. Actual fricking triple-take.

What did Yoshi P think when he saw this?
>What did Yoshi P think when he saw this?
>bro....I literally just made a giant blog post about third party programs because of ultimate drama nani the frick did you have to put datamined assets on it too alongside our logo and copyright information frick I just want a break I'm a hardworking salaryman I don't have time for this shit......shikata ga nai.........
You can't really rank the cities in an real order, they all have good houses and bad houses.
Goblet:
>+gorgeous center
>-as you get to the outer wall houses get worse
>-No good larges
Mist:
>+Gorgeous coastline houses
>-Houses in center are an absolute mess of white
>-Very few private feeling houses
Gridania
>+Prettiest overall aesthetic
>-every house has these weird low res mud walls some ruining the feel of the plot
>-center house are a bit disorganized
Shirogane
>+Best Larges
>-basically staring at the roofs of other people's houses in the high value spots, RIP if you get a paissa neighbor
Ishgard
>+Good Larges
>-completely disorganized layout
>-GREY
Shirogane is probably the best tbh, it's a good balance of aesthetics in most areas with only the beach ones being really shit.
People sleep on the Goblet so hard. I have the medium by the pool, only have neighbors on the other side of the stairs out of view, the only thing that could make me move is crystarium housing.
>beachside housing
>all of the houses face each other and not the beach
They fricked the layout so hard to avoid having differeing quality lots
>Ishgard
>GREY
honestly, yeah. the zone is depressing to be in. I thought it would be comfy like skyrim or something but its just really not very fun to hang out in.
It’s depressing during the day until you get to night and then this starts playing

It's by the hot springs and I have no direct neighbor but a downgrade in every regard...
Were they perma banned. That happened like last year
Played since the launch of the original, game has only gotten worse with every expansion. Even ARR was a downgrade over the original. Quit during Shadowbringers cause I couldn't deal with how boring and poorly desogned it is.
DT is gonna lose and TWW is gonna win
I'm hype as a WARchad but I get why you might not be if you play an inferior job!
WOW IS KING ZIV IS DEAD WOW IS KING ZIV IS DEAD WOW IS KING ZIV IS DEAD WOW IS KING BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Well specifically as it relates to ff14 when your mmo hinges on a story after the story 'ends' it's inevitable you're going to have issues.
Also, from what I saw there are basically no gameplay changes that aren't just homogenisation (did wow learn this lesson a decade ago?)
Also
>DRK has no identity and got nothing besides losing plunge
>SMN didn't get a new gemstone despite that being the most obvious idea ever
Identities are coming in 8.0 pls look forward to it onayguysheemas
>Well specifically as it relates to ff14 when your mmo hinges on a story after the story 'ends' it's inevitable you're going to have issues
The story didn't really begin until post Stormblood really. They had no plan until then the Ascians were just generic bad guys doing bad stuff in the background. The fact this story is starting out with a plan makes me more optimistic.
>the lead-up to the "real" story was more interesting than the payoff
Grim.
Time to give up, MMOgays. Gachas are winning and it's the only thing that'll save your game.
Gachas aren't even games
Shit netcode troony homosexual game kys doesn't even have mythic+ or pvp hahaha

SMN has more flexibility in it's rotation than PIC and BLM
Yeah it has as much flexibility as MCH and DNC. Really what I wanted out of a caster :^).
Flexibility that doesn't matter because you're not forced to use it outside of like 1 or 2 instances. The only time I can remember changing up my primal order this entire expansion is P10S.
>these 2 other pieces of crap are worse
anon, my main job is in shambles and THIS is the best defense you came up with? At least tell me you were just mocking SMN
What all this amounts to is that you’re gonna be kept naked and chained up like an
ARRgay here. Same, it feels like the game isn't made for us anymore.
See
They dont care about veterans anymore. The real money is getting newcomers into the game. They probably saw it like
>Hey, if we lose the 10% of players who played since ARR, we gain 30% more players by making the game easier.
2 more weeks
>I'm just waiting for the inevitable anger against this game when people start to realise it's garbage
That'll never happen because the audience consist of autists.
>Record number pre-orders
>There's zero hype!!!
Only like 1 million players have watched the trailer. I though this game had like 10 million subs? What now XIVcuck?
Not gonna lie, I'm really hyped for Dawntrail.
Only hyped for post-patches battle content. msq can go frick itself ftm
Same. Looking forward to the raid series and trials. Maybe the extreme stuff if said trials are SB levels of quality at least.
This, I love the idea of a vacation expansion. Hope the cosmic exploration is kino
I'm cautiously hyped, but only because I was hyped for Endwalker and storywise I didn't have a great time.
Is he still claiming all the limitations for housing and the glamour dresser still cause its built off 1.0?
Yes.
Is this game a good alternative to WoW?
the image is goofy cause the site its from says it has 0 players on right now
I didnt believe you so i had to look lmao
Why do you think I'm looking for a new game?
And it's correct
Please never post asmon at me again, he doesnt play anything.
it's joever......................
Frick off we're full.
No stay away from ffxiv it’s trash
14 isnt exactly fun, its a glorified single player game with a sub, most of the people have already formed their groups and barely interact outside of Crystals ERP stuff.
Its infested with broken minded people and modbeasts who can't live without their modded characters.
Thanks I'll download the trial
>Its infested with broken minded people
My guy that is MMOs in general. If you are subsidising socialisation through MMOs, as opposed to going outside, there is something wrong with you mentally.
I think they specifically meant trans people anon. Everyone already knows anyone playing an MMO is autistic.
It's very, VERY different. There's significantly less variety in classes & combat. The DDR fights are fun for awhile.
There is more of a feeling of the game being "lived in" than WoW. Housing goes a long way for that.
Do the trial.
Dont sugar coat it, theres a limited amount of houses in the game and its also has extremely bad latency issues ontop of combat being slow compared to most other mmos.
Should I world transfer to Ultros or Excalibur?
I hope DT is more grounded like ARR-SB. DT should spend time establishing the new setting and less on a fantastical plotline.
I think that's what it's going to do.
>New World done and dusted
>Expac leads into Meracydia shit
>Leads into Hingashi expac
>more shard hopping after that
Meracydia expac is literally the most boring fricking thing they could ever do. No one wants another 2 years of dragon and allagan wank.
Meracydia is Australia. It's gonna own ya dag.
But that's exactly what I want
Meracydia doesn't have to be just dragons, it's basically fantasy Australlia, I'm sure theres plenty they could do with that lik abbos for the tribal quests and introduce the new Bogan tank class that has stealing and huffing petrol as a core gameplay mechanic
Lol the shadowbab trembles in fear at the possibility of a legit HW 2.0
>No one wants another 2 years of dragon and allagan wank.
I'll take it over more Ancient shit.
I just don't want any more Void shit. Golbez killed the MSQ for me.
It disgusts me that we're still getting the Scions crammed down our throats, this would have been the perfect time to rest them for a while and introduce an entirely new cast of characters.
It'll never happen because off all the fujos lusting after them.
You disgust me.

I am lowkey hoping the fakeout-death burden will go to Krile for this one.

thancred and urianger death confirmed
>Thancred and Urianger retire to The First and live with Ryne and Gaia who are happily heterosexual roommates
Urianger needs one last betrayal fake out before he goes though. Have to follow tradition.
I need an au ra gf so bad bros
It's fine except the twins. Why do we have to take them everywhere?
They are the main characters from the very first cutscene in the game.
No, the WoL is the main character. The twins need to get out of the spotlight and make way for new characters
Wrong. You need to grow up and deal with it.
Ok, pedo.
because Alisaie is my wife
Why does Graha have to also stalk us everywhere we go now? Graha is far worse than the twins and I fricking hate the twins.
because we just got graha. The twins have been around for 10 years.
Ga Bu and she probably the most fleshed out scion in ShB.
Alisae is still the only scion not to have had any type of character arc
She got some in Shadowbringers and coils of bahamut, but yeah her character appears to just be "headstrong teenage girl". Granted that's most of the women in the Scions, the dudes mostly get good growth but the chicks are just there to be pretty. Thancred, Epsteinien, and Alf have pretty impressive character arcs, can't think of a single woman in the game that compares.
I only care about the twins, the rest can go and stay go.
>waah why do we never move past the scions

>will replace thancred if the VA rumors are to be believed
Elaborate
Tank character that comes along for trusts/duty support
Erenville is the only one of Galool's adopted children not interested in the throne.
Therefor, by anime logic, he's the one that'll win it.
Reminder that the two-headed Mamool Jas are actually siblings that share a body. There will be two people sharing the throne in accordance with that.
Look at the trust list posted earlier. He's only there once in the beginning. Seems he's either dying or retiring. Someone said Alisaie and Alphinaud's VAs suggested that someone was leaving too but I haven't seen a clip of it or anything so it may be bullshit.
The Thavnair crew are the only good scions frick that shit I'll egg Yoshida's house if this actually happens.
>thancred dying
Is it "dying" like in ShB or actually leaving/dying?
Does this kill any chances of bringing Ryne back into the story?
If they didn't kill him in ShB I doubt they'd kill him here so I'd guess he's just retiring for some reason.
I wish he could get replaced by Fordola. That would be fun
They should have specified that they wanted to adventure with good characters. Now they're stuck with Pedro.
I'd be fine with more of the scions if anything ever actually fricking happened with them
>Y'shtola is hunting for knowledge... again... (her sister still hasn't made an appearance in the actual story)
>Alphinaud's character arc is over after the crystal braves so he's just Alisaie's tard wrangler now
>Thancred literally fricking died on-screen and then showed up in the next scene like nothing happened, and continues to do so despite no longer having involvement or motivation in the plot after returning to the Source instead of staying on the First
>Urianger's schtick is so overplayed that they tried to lampshade it in EW and still failed to give him anything meaningful to do
Urianger is designated spacerabbit wrangler, that's an important job.
Y'Shtola's sister shows up when you save her from the lifestream. Not much of one, but an appearance.
Widergalt isn't more relevant to the plot than Y'mithra, The Padjal and X'rhun
Tbf that's justifiable since both he doesn't want to reclaim that inheritance, and SB ends with forming a republic.
>everyone thought he'd be stormblood estinien
>instead it's just estinien again
the MNK npc is not hamon so i didnt care what he said
>ancient alphabet in Solution 9
>final zone is on another plane (Elpis, Sea of Stars, etc)
We're never going back.
We already know fron the screenshots and the second hub that its gonna transition from a down to earth adventure in to a Futuristic cyberpunk setting.
Chances are you will discover the remnants of the alagan Empire.
Or it might be a portal to one of the Reflections that has a more advanced race living on it.
>SB
>grounded

>Tanks
>two combos
Its more than that, in casual content you can honestly just take dark mind and dark missionary off your bar as its overwhelmingly physical damage.
Meanwhile Dark Mind in high end content has a strong argument to be made for it being the most busted tank mit in the game.
If that describes you then DRK's a cool job with a kit limited by content difficulty and design.
so it feels like shit to casuals and raidgays also hate it because it's the most symptomatic of the streamlined job design philosphy.
then they need to up the encounter design in everything else because most players don't do Criterion or Savage. Shit like Myths of the Realm skiping mechanics with blind pugs on launch day aren't ok
If you want engagibg content, do Ultimates.
t. Yoshida on healing jobsmm2r
you're not the only one.
You can read it like
>always have more than enough in their kit
and the initial point still stands
>they even started adding walls so you cant pull too much trash
Mayhaps gating new locations behind multiple mandatory cutscenes and instances is not a good idea after all
Because not everyone can make it to that place yet, are you stupid or something?
Makes sense to me but did they really need to make the fricking SGE and RPR quests start in the main cities when you have to be lv70?
A new player will likely reach level 70 before they even finish ARR. I did.
Reaper in Uldah felt somewhat justified with how they wrote it, but I actually can't remember the Sage starting quest and that's my main healer class. It was in Limsa right?
Yes. I think you spend most of your time in New Sharlyan though.
You won't need those abilities until you reach that content since almost everything is gay baby jail locked until you complete the story or buy a skip.
ayo, someone post the malmstone rewards for this season
It's this set still
>have urge to pay sub and go get that armor
>remember that there's still no content so there's no point to outfitting my character to look cool
Yep, I'm not coming back.
Your first two points are about yourself but then suddenly the third one is a broad statement. What gives?
Today was a glorious day, thank you xivsisters.
That thread was glorious
Brainlet here
Are these good numbers or bad numbers?
Frick, that's kinda fire. Can I reach rank 30 in less than 2 days? (I'm likely spending over half my free login days farming the Yokai event)
>Are these good numbers or bad numbers?
Intentionally misleading numbers because the person who made it refused to show what filters he used on the player search
>looked it up
>it's Alpha - Light
Hold on, I'm on Alpha - Light and I'm unsubbed atm
Am I responsible for making this screenshot possible? I could've been that 200th Limsa dweller...
So, why do parse troons not measure in "potency dealt", ignoring all random shit like crits? Wouldn't that be a way more honest way of measuring performance?
Is it because they then would realize how fricking stale the combat is?

Honestly after watching Finh's guide the hardest part will be the landmines in 171+, I don't trust myself to do it without holmgang
what job to grind out the pvp battle pass easily
Any job is fine if you grind CC, if you wanna do FLs then SCH is chill if you don't wanna think too much and have some impact, otherwise well-played melees are king. If wanna try Rival Wings then something like SMN is versatile if you're new.
>Can I reach rank 30 in less than 2 days?
It's possible, but you'll be spamming CC matches ALL day

>I've played the game same game for 9 years why am I not excited about it still?
Mostly because we don't know what to expect. The main plot is over and the post EW patches did jack shit to hype us up for the new expansion.
I am going to reserve my opinions for when I'm actually playing the damn thing, because right now it's either pretending everything is perfect when there are glaring issues with the game as it is, or doomposting and falseflagging as a blizzdrone.
I am optimistic, but this is a very delicate moment. If they fail to sell the next conflict we might be facing WoW's equivalent of Shadowlands.
hedlo each an every sars this 14xivs game is no great yyes sar ?
i want to kill s'hartola by dropping an anvil on her head
Rude!
I want to kill what little respect fourchanalt has for me by impregnating his daughter
lmao this weirdo got hyped for endwalker lmao
this dude really played 5.3, 4 & 5 and said yup give me more of that slop wooo hoooo I am fricking hyped bro inject that ancients lore into my veins yoshida
5.3 was the story's peak tho.
Nah, it really doesn't hold up. The pacing is shit and the writing is stilted. People only get hyped for the trial.
The dungeon is better than the other ShB post dungeons but that's about it.
5.3 is where the wheels come off.
>midslopman
It was originally gonna be this image I posted but that macro was above it directly in the folder so I chose that instead because I liked it more. If I'd went for the image below it, well it woulda been yoshida dancing with a moogle.
The only thing that is hyping me up in this game is the fact that gil RMT prices are skyrocketing and i will be able to sell my billions of gil for a very good price.
is purpl lallafel still here?
CRUMBLE AND DIE

At least WoWgays know their game is shit now but whoever says FF14 isn't shit is lying to themselves
Hopefully won't be long till FF players are in the same boat, Endwalker post launch was the wake up call. S-E are in the total shitter with FF14 their only money maker so they won't want to take any risk and just pump same old shit into it.

Stop bidding on the house Im trying to get.
>have to wait until 8.0 for space house
I'm going to bid on it
Hated that shit in the 8 months or so I was in housing lottery hell. I'd find some place with no entries with a day left, come back 12 hours later and 2 other people entered, which of course means my shit tier luck ass is not getting it.
same except i stopped giving a shit when zeromus showed up

>fanta to grizzy lion man
>instantly bombarded by gays and trannies
welp i guess i'm switching back. i dont know what i expected.
I hope you b***hes actually wont play this game because I don't want the 10-20 hour login queues on Dawntrails launch. That shit made me so mad last time.
Didn't they update their servers when that happened so it wouldn't happen again?
>Dawntrails launch.
How long will it take for Dalamud to be updated?
My plan like always is just to get in at early access and then not log off for a fricking week.
Don't worry mate, I'll be busy playing SMT V and voting the first week.
Will probably be juggling SMT V & XI the 2nd and 3rd too.
You gonna get your pussy ass in gear and finish in 3 weeks yeah?
I'll be playing Erdtree.
how quickly do you think they'll mod out the troony lion voice for the JP one but still keep the english voices for everyone else.
>make the mod
>place it behind paywall
Easy money. Lots of cucked FF players buy mods on top of paying for a subscription and expansions
I was working on it but I can't find where cutscene voices are stored, only instanced battle voices.
Imagine getting excited for anything past Heavensward
My hype died the moment SB got announced, didnt like the whole asian aesthetics, then it revived by edgykino for ShB. Then it died again by the end of ShB and somehow got worse during EW. I dont think am coming back for DT
Thoughts on Eden Garuda?

What are you all playing to hold you over?
bit of XIV catchup on a character.
The graphical update is nice I guess.
I wish there was a sense of character progression in this game. Something like XI relics, where you can spend months incriminatally working towards an achievement that's not only a status symbol, but has a tangible use and benefit in the main gameplay loop.
The discord told me to bump this thread just a heads up

Careful Lalabro... the Chef stalks these threads...
>want to get the physical collector's edition for the map, book, and case
>ugly mid quality figurine must be included and probably is boosting the price by $60-80
Hate this fricking shit.
No, MCH went from ranged NIN to ranged WAR but without the cool factor.
Lol.
It really doesn't matter anymore, just visit Aether to prog and get the same results as you would on crystal or primal.
>spend 4 expansions building up the Void with intermittent stories and recurring characters
>the entire thing gets resolved without any of that being called up by a new character who's treated as the WoL's equal despite doing nothing on-screen
>all of the existing setup for the thirteenth is just left hanging with no resolution and has no reason to be called back
who the frick is responsible for 6.2~6.5
it's so ridiculously tacked on, it's blatantly obvious no one planned for it
>"spend 4 expansions building up the Void with intermittent stories and recurring characters"
>void is literally said to be empty fricking wasteland with nothing in it
wow, what a build up
There is no good reason Unulkalhai and Clyva weren't involved in this MSQ at all. If anything they should've been elevated to the protagonists like G'raha instead of making it all about some amnesia ridden OC.
They're from optional content, if they showed up I bet 90% of the playerbase would go "who?".
That's their problem. They should start including characters and plot lines from option content as if everyone had done said content. If they have a problem they can go back and do it.
And this is why XIV's story will never be good, because it always caters to MSQ-onlies who never do side content.
That was the case for G'raha too, I remember the screaming from MSQ-only morons when they were finally forced to go do Crystal Tower. Frick em. Make the game for people who actually play it.
So what? If they want to know who they are the content is there for them to go do.
>Warning: This MSQ will spoil major events of Heavensward's Warring Triad questline and Shadowbringer's Role Quests
>Are you okay with that? (Yes/No)
It's truly that easy
I really liked how Ishikawa loved nero and cid then once we reached EW and Garlemald they were just fricking missing.
Still funny to me, I mean I get it. MSQ only players didn't complete the omega raids, when was the last time they really saw nero anyway? SB?
Nero helped hack the allagan node in 5.4.
He's in the last role quest where you never even get to see what Nerva looked like or how he became a blasphemy.
Almost like were not done with the thirteenth.
Maybe the foray will take place there, but that also means it will be utterly irrelevant to the MSQ from now on.
>spend 4 expansions building up the Void
This didn't happen. You read too far into it and overhyped yourself.
6.1 onwards is meant as new player introduction conteng come 8.0. People will be allowed to freely skip the last 10 years of MSQ.
>6.1 was a reintroduction of mostly Estinien and Y'shtola who presumably will be the lead crew for the greater plot going forward
>the codex lets new players read up on legacy characters
>hamfistedly reintroduce the rest of the crew via Zero
Also had to double as trial series
A bunch of new writers were responsible. Though Zero as a character was created by Ishikawa.
Same, it's weird, I should be hype, but this is the first expansion with absolutely no buildup or reason for me to care. I don't give a shit about Wuk Lamat and I don't want to put that spastic troony in a position of power.
My hype will be determined by the exact details of BLMs changes.
I'm too afraid to play tank because I don't want to lead the team and learn all the mechanics.
essex?
>lead the team
homie it's a fricking hallway just go
>and learn all the mechanics.
tanks can take the most vulnerability stacks without dying and you can always just go dgaf mode, turn your stance off and let the other tank to the work
tank is the easiest role to play though
I've had 10 stacks of vuln up before, you're gonna make it
>I'm too afraid to play tank because I don't want to lead the team and learn all the mechanics.
Play WAR/DRK, stand in stupid and make it look intentional because you're really skilled at pushing your 15-25s button.
just point the boss away
maybe if your doing an extreme there might be a tank swap somewhere
thats about all for tank mechanics lmao
>just point the boss away
>It's shatter day
I stopped queueing frontlines on my alt, the 44-66% EXP just ain't fricking worth it on the off chance I get lazy and don't notice it's shatter day.
You get shatter, get demotivated, don't queue it the next day, maybe take a day off, your brain forgets you queue it up and it's fricking shatter again because there's only three fricking maps now.
Haven't played since 6.0. what is shatter?
The shitty crystal frontlines map.
It was reworked, then reworked again, and again, and again. At one point it was circular TDM with PVE objectives and 2/3rds of the team would be afk while one alliance got their shit in gear and would stomp battle high.
marrying zero
marrying Krile
marrying Y'shtola
You are now acutely aware that there are no razor blades, wax strips or beauty salons in the void.
hot
What was the design reason behind killing non-standard BLM? It was literally optional. It didn't hurt new players at all. It ONLY fricks over the diehard fans.
Same reason they kill MNK every expac. The job isn't approachable to new players and the only thing that matters is line go up.
Same reason every other job got raped with the streamline dildo. You didn't say anything when it happened to others so don't say anything now.
But id like to know when Id know, you know?
>why kill a playstyle that needs a third party mod to function
>Tank pull the boss from the side
Ah, we got someone from another MMO try the game
That used to be standard practice back in the early days, I remember learning to tank like that in ARR. Keeps sudden cleaves pointed away.
The real tell is when they run around the boss instead of right through the hitbox.
Only boss I do that with is cerebus in wod and only because morons still stand behind it past the 3rd tail blow
>alliance B tank provokes after someone explains that they have to go in belly
good thing I can easily steal aggro back
>We didn't get 1 minute meta in DT
sad!
>>We didn't get 1 minute meta in DT
Just imagining what it's like to get paired with another DNC in a duty with 1 min meta and suddenly I got an urge to tech step feather burst in a chocobo suit in front of a train.
How many proc-based jobs are there still?
At least DNC and BRD.
Kinda AST too?
Zero is asexual, she literally can’t be Cecil.
how do we feel about stellanoxeclair in this thread
how do we feel about Raya-O's bare thighs
You mean her milky ginger thighs
I wonder what the void smells like...
Ozone. They said already.
>Ozone.
>spend 5 minutes in the void
>end up with respiratory failure
grim, better stock up on the vitamin C
You know when you're down by a swampy canal on a hot humid day? That mixed with rotting meat I'd say.
Zero’s farts.
Every complaint about DT just feels weak and coming from someone just tired of the game from playing it too much. Just skip an xpac and come back in 8.0 you homos.
>just wait three years more for changes that should've happened by EW
Why did they say this, even if it was true why say it out loud
I mostly disliked ShB post > EW and the EW content but I'm fairly excited for DT.
Won't go in at launch 'cause I'm busy but idgaf about the whiners.
My only complaint was dragging the scions along again and them pussying out on not aging the twins. I wanted hyperfrickable alisae
is return of the obra dinn good
Yes
It's really good. Can be kinda of tricky at some parts, but absolutely worth trying out.
what does Alisaie's shorts smell like
they smell like my face
Void patches were good. I only hated Vtra and needing permission to use a tower 2 patches in a row. You zero haters are mental. Nobody gives a frick about cylva
what did you like about Zero
>Void patches were good.
I know there's hate for them but I enjoyed them, had friends who enjoyed them. My biggest complaint is probably that Troia boss 2bh.
Liked the more self contained nature of it, there was no moronic 0 to 60 overdrive to get us into the next expansion. SB's post to ShB was done well up until Elidibus walked away. Then the ShB post to get us to EW was ridiculous. Heavensward had the same issue, tried to put too much in then 0-120 at the last minute.
I come from the future, Dawntrail is the best expansion yet. Doomers performed a collective suicide and everyone cheered.
how do I claim this stuff?
Click

Literally click on it, if you’re on controller just d-pad onto it and confirm
Holy shit, I thought you guys were exaggerating. Her voice is terrible.
Yeah but unfortunately you can't talk about it without resetera culture warriors having a meltdown and killing the thread.
Almost all the Eng voices are bad.
>WAR is the troony job now
fitting
Like trannies, it lives inside your head rent free 24/7.
Fitting indeed.
What do you think the inner beast is?
I finished 6.0 last night, I liked it a lot
You didn't deny, did you, anon?
Of course not. Dude flew all the way to the end of the universe to fight me, he deserved that much
shit was kino
good lad
now replay the game as a lalafell and enjoy that cutscene as intended
>finishing as Paladin
Good shit. Whenever I joined people from my fc when they first queued up for the trial, I made sure to convince them to play their favorite melee job.
I was going to go Paladin but I decided on Reaper just so I could style on his goofy ass with his own job.
I just can't imagine fighting him as healer, range dps, except maybe Red Mage. Reaper has the mirror match, Dragoon is the same armor class, and Monk and Ninja surely win because their speed is superior. Paladin is probably the most fitting for tanks, but they are all melee in the end and that's what counts for me.
>range dps, except maybe Red Mage
It's a pretty alright fight on RDM, but that's thanks to dualcast and melee combo
He uses primal abilities from Shinryu so fighting him as a SMN felt fitting.
Thematically playing a BLM or like all the healers against Zenos is like playing a lalafell. I can't figure out how that fight would actually function outside of gameplay contrivances.
I fought him as a NIN because that's what I was when I fought him in Rhalgar's Reach, Doma and the Menagerie.
it works well with all jobs, I always finish every expansion as WHT and still works greats. I imagine after throwing like 50 holys at zenos my WoL just went "frick it" and just started punching the shit out of him.
I can respect always finishing the story with the same Job.
Makes sense. Also having freedom of movement is probably fun, since you can still attack while getting your reflexes tested.
Thinking about it.
If DT doesn't have a scene animated just for lalafell it is a shit irredeemable piece of trash.
I'm not a furry, but those Hrothgals man... I'm tempted to use my ARR Fantasia...
You did the same shit with male viera and they are still the top males in the limsa hierarchy
she looks like she commentates over csgo surf gameplay
>Yes
Get anything good this Make It Rain event?
I'm going to impregnate every femlala in existence
How are you going to impregnate corpses?
dynamis
I'm buying Typhoon and some Triple Triad cards.
I'm coming back after unsubbing in protest because I love FF11 too much to pass up the references and knockoffs
Pretty much where my stupid old ass is at as well. If they turn vanadiel into a shard I'm making that science project that merked Shinzo Abe and having a talk with Yoshida.
>Alisaie mentions Coils and you can have WoL freak out about Van Darnus
>Alphinaud pulls a "Golden Kamuy" moment
>Susanoo reference
>All capstoned by G'raha's allagantism
Kino
During that moment I kept wondering how the scene would look if I didn't do the side content.
You can view the cutscene again and click off the "quest progression" option
i'm having so much fun with my FC bros
did minfilia rly need an asswindow
Yes?
Since Y'shtola was permanently dressed in an oversized, form-concealing shirt, and Yda never showed her face, someone needed to provide the moral boost for the Scions.
Feels like they didn't enjoy how much of an NPC Minfilia looked in 1.0 and went big on making her outfit unique.
>the twins and minfillia get these weird ass outfits
>literally every other ARR character wearing 1.0 potato sacks
I liked that it made the game have a low-fantasy aesthetic but then none of the expansions stick with it so eorzeans just look like bums
Her outfit was pure fricking sexo
I swear there's like a scene of her all like "be my rock WOL" and then it fades to black. They totally boned.
Which job should Alisaie change to in 8.0?
green mage or geomancer
FRICK THAT GAY ASS SHIT THAT "PERSON" REPLIED TO YOU WITH THERE IS ONE
ONE SINGULAR ANSWER
SHE IS A WEIRD RED MAGE WITH A WEIRD RED MAGE SWORD
RUNE FENCER
search your heart
But Alisaie is shit with a sword and the Red Mage teacher said she has enormous amount of aether but she isn't using it
She'll git gud after the growth spurt and a real sword
I hope Cosmic Exploration has Fetes like Ishgard.
It'll have something similar I reckon. Maybe space weather.
>Dress
It's just a theme, they like to dress like that to inspire terror in the evil people they hunt
>Animations
The slower animations are the ones where you aren't using extra aether to power your swings
>Illegality
DRKs are technically vigilantes and so should be illegal almost everywhere, rarely is it legal for a third party to just decapitate people because they're """bad"""
>WoL
Darkness isn't evil, it's an aspect of aether just like water or lightning and the title Warrior of Light comes from 1.0 and doesn't mean what you think it does.
Ok then answer me this last one loremasters. Why are Warriors... like that?
you mean moronic? or giant crybabies
Gorge explains inner beast as being the summation of one's fighting instincts that everyone possess but a Warrior trains to specifically hone and unleash it
Yeah but Gorge is an absolute fricking doofus so I don't take anything his dumbass says seriously.
a doofus who gets to pound femra pussy every night
too angry to die
what's not to get fricko
They're basically berserkers.
They're just edgier paladins that are themed around (slightly dirty and vigilante) justice instead of duty, which is probably why they fling around the more chaotic umbral magic (dark is not necessarily bad).
>Why do they dress like Sauron if they're supposed to be good guys trying to inspire the small folk?
You typed a lot of b***h ass pussy shit questions and the answer to them all is HELL YES MOTHER FRICKER
god seifer's gunblade was fricking moronic
>god seifer's gunblade was fricking based
Fixed that for you.
God I hate it so much.
>facing down the big bad
>no hope remaining
>scions telling you to dip
>teleport them back
>throw away own teleporter and ready up for a fight
Holy fricking KINO.
weekend's done
where the frick are the leaks
I'm off on Monday, you'll have to wait til tuesday cause I did 3 gummies tonight
+20 potency on all 2nd combo hits
Which tribe quests have the most lore behind them? I want to do those first
Omicrons
Thanks lads. I kinda got burned out after completing the Ixal questline so I want to prioritize
Probably Omicron.
How can PLD and GNB handle big pulls?
>Abyssal Drain
>Equilibrum+Nascent Flash
Why does the former exist in it's state given the state of the latter?
Because drk players don't b***h nearly as much as wars. Same reason sch has literally always been the meta healer since 2.0.
The latter is the one that shouldn't exist.
Why do GNB and DRK have magic damage specific mitigation when WAR and PLD have shields?
i won
me
the guy
i am him
