I made sure to write their names down before leaving. I'm tired of no one giving me the commendations I deserve. I've been playing for 3 months and have less than 200 commendations. There should be a rule to give commendations to sprouts or something only.

i never commend healers on purpose, especially in casual content they're the most unnecessary role.
me and my friends do all 4 man roulettes as 1 tank 3 dps.
they're unnecessary even in high end content. last ultimate was cleared on patch with no healers, even making it through a mechanic requiring 2 healer lbs

I only commend people who have default portraits because playing the game is more important than playing dress-up or posing your WoL like an action figure.

I also don't give comms to lalafells, male au ra, or hrothgars.
If it's the choice between a miqo, viera, or elezen, the elezen will always get the comm.

I have never played this game and never will because of the visceral revulsion i feel seeing sxreensh of the e-girl race in miniskirts knowing a 30 year old is behind the screen playing it.
Usually I give it to whoever has the best portrait or if there is another black mage in the party. Fellow black mages have to stick together.

Do you guys prefer humorous, edgy, badass or cute portraits? I almost always go for humorous.
Anything is fine as long as the weapon doesn't glow.
I go with a chunni pose personally.
Of those choices I prefer badass. Can only see so many goofy closeups before they all blend together.
I go in as tank and very slowly pull small groups, one by one.
I'm not in a hurry.
If someone decides to pull more, I don't bother getting threat.

Not true, Paladin is very nuanced from the nature of its supportive toolkit until 7.0 when they remove cover and PoA
Do people get pissed at you for casting Clemency? I had a guy get very upset that I had the audacity of healing myself.
I only Clemency when healers are dying or if I have a reason to not trust them to keep me alive (like if they don't heal me to get rid of doom)
So not really, honestly. Always pretty justified.
Also, if I think I'm about to die Clemency wouldn't even be my first pick, it would be Hallowed Ground. Clemency is a last resort to me because that's less boss uptime.
That being said, using it when it's insta-cast under req to save others can really save a pull, and I've gotten 6 commends from that once.
