I swear this "restoration" patch is a fricking meme. Every time I play it myself and see it being played the audio on sound effects are jacked the frick up, glitches not present in US/EU DC SA are there, and some fmv cutscenes are lol because they aren't widescreen yet the rest of the games being forced to it and so wackiness occurs.

There are mods to fix the PC port, I guess using them makes it overall better than emulating it, since the port does have some additional stuff like SA2-like Chao Garden.

Emulate the Dreamcast version.
The PC port is also the PS3/360 port so stay away from that shit. Gamecube port is a bit better and doesn't have the shitty resolution bars on the side but still shit compared to DC version.

Download the paid version of Re:Dream and play the ISO for Dreamcast. American or European version of 60Hz. Japanese ISO has more bugs, sadly.
