I just can't deal with English dubs in most games. The quality just isn't consistent. You can have a game like FE 3H where the English VA for Dimitri was great and then the English VA for Mercedes was fricking horrible. You run the risk of a situation like Nier Automata where Kira Buckland's shitty performance made 2B out to be a b***h. Union bullshit can lead to over reliance on certain actors; it was fricking absurd how many times I've heard Troy Baker or Nolan North. Some Japanese characters just don't translate very well to English voices. I've played some games with good English dubs, but nine times out of ten it's JP audio for me.
Dubs of jap games ensures that israelites, blacks, other minorities, and trannies have a job. We should be grateful that our money pays for their livelihood.
