It’s more I didn’t like their reinterpretation of VII, Forspoken was a clear miss but I give them props for trying something completely new. I didn’t mind FFXV, wasn’t a huge fan of the new systems or way they handled magic but it was still pretty fun. XVI I have no hope for, no controllable party members, fast paced DmC combat and the way you control the actual summons.
I don’t think the game will fail but they’ve been making it clear for a while now they are not making games that appeal to me anymore.

i think it would be fine. if people are honest and take off the rose tinted glasses, Triangle Strategy is better than FFT in most respects already. a remake could finally balance the utterly broken shit like ninjas, monks and shirahadori

Sony is by far the strongest console dev when we talk about real consoles, not cellphones like nintendo. Not every publisher is a retard and will agree with you just because you have a hateboner with Sony.

Every fake list so far easily discarded because of FF XVI's absence. Releases next month, one of their biggest console and timed exclusive titles this year.
You know this game will have previews, videos and interviews showcasing it with every journo and vidya youtuber tomorrow, right? Not appearing in the showcase but only on its own event in the 12th makes sense.
We're still expecting two FFXVI trailers. A "launch" trailer and the live action one. I bet the live action trailer will drop in the Showcase.
Sony has been giving this game the first party treatment.
I can see it having a small announcement of the event next month, and that's it.
The live action trailer can be just a random trailer to put on youtube or random evens, PS had one like that in the beginning of the year. Remember that GoW had ads with fucking ben stiller, and that shit was not for any event.
The launch trailer is definitelly in the 12th.
I fail to see why Sony would skip on showing off one of their main system seller exclusives that they desperately need to succeed and hype up in a Showcase a month before launch.

Influencers/journos and a Showcase are two very different marketing avenues. One does not exclude the other.

After Flopspoken, SE should realize the same though. If FFXVI also flops critically Sony won't bother with buying expensive exclusivity deals from them anymore.
I"m sure that regardless of Forspoken failing, Sony will never want a scenario where they lose exclusivity over IPs like FF or KH. In less than one year SE is giving the ps5 2 AAA exclusive games, this takes a massive burden off Sony's shoulder.
FF funilly enough is also an IP really tied to PS even when it isnt their IP, having FF always in ps is a good identity to the console.

It really doesn't when both would be flops. So far we're at one out of two flops, and the studio was closed and the Square Enix CEO fired over it, because apparently Sony doesn't cover all the dev costs for these.
Regardless of forspoken's failure it still was a big year for SE. Matsuda got insane in the last years but he still did some miracles

It'll likely be a good game, but the franchise's name is so tarnished by now and the PS5 in such a bad place, especially in Japan, that it's hard to see people lining up to buy PS5's for just FFXVI.

Honestly, no idea. I've never participated in one. But based on the fact that you have a share, you should be eligible to participate in the Q&A. Maybe you have to sign up or something.

Not really. You have voting rights and rights to a dividend of the earnings proportional to your share. Most companies have a structure where at least 51% of the shares or voting right shares belong to a single party though, so it's not like the voting rights can actually be used to any real extend.
Don't do it anon. There's no such thing as business knowledge or any of the sort. Stocks move at their own pace, the company could be making billions but the stock is crashing for no reason or vice versa. The stock goes up while company is doing horribly. At the end of the day you'll lose all your money. That's for sure. Over 80% of people who trade stocks lose money.
