I love how Iron Moth took Volcarona's wings and turned them into six levitating panels. They remind me of solar panels, and their orbiting nature seems like a really cool concept. Imagining how they must look when Moth unleashes its Fiery Dance is rather exciting. I have a soft spot for Iron Moth amongst the Future Paradoxes for that reason. Strikes me more than some of the others.
Nah, I could not rate Moth higher than Valiant. Iron Valiant always gets points because it is one of the only Future Paradoxes to do something different with the base designs aside from shrinking the original Pokemon down a little, slapping a metal texture on it, and giving it LED displays + glowing cellular internals. As far as the Future Paradoxes go, and maybe amongst the Paradoxes overall, it is difficult to top a fusion of two related Mega Evolutions. Valiant was pretty tastefully done, in my opinion. Also, you got to love how it turns Gallade's arm blades into a double-ended Lightsabre lol.
I'm calling based department, anon. I'm glad to see a grounded take on IV. It is far and away my favorite gen 9 mon and a top 10 all-time favorite of mine. The double-bladed polearm is fricking awesome

Heh, thank you kindly Anon. I’m glad that you and I are in accordance with each other on the matter of Iron Valiant. It’s definitely a real neat Pokemon, and I am glad that it is currently meant to be the “primary” or “emblematic” species chosen to represent the Future Paradoxes alongside Miraidon/Iron Serpent.

Iron valiant kind of suffers from the same issue I have with the rest of the future paradoxes where it would feel a lot more interesting to me if they made it feel like a natural evolution of the gardevoir line instead of being more like a robot that is shaped like a gardevoir/gallade fusion.
the past paradoxes still suffer from the issue to some extent (having a past salamence be flightless was the most no-brainer direction possible, but instead they just reskinned mega mence) but I can at least buy designs like slither wing and great tusk being ancient forms of volcarona, donphan.
I get that the past/future paradoxes aren't necessarily meant to reflect accurate past/future versions of pokemon, but it's still disappointing to me.
Believe me, I agree with you wholeheartedly. If I were to hazard a guess, the overall design philosophy Game Freak went with for either half of the Paradoxes was meant to indicate to players that these Pokemon might not actually be the “ancient ancestors” and “future descendants” the Professors, Heath’s Books, and Occulture make them out to be. In general, there were many directions I felt that the designers and devs could have taken with the Paradoxes that may have been more appealing than what is now official, but I am not totally against what exists. If anything, I simply wish GF played even further into the whole “savage beasts” and “killer robots” theming they have. Make ‘em all look dangerous and ready to battle in order to contrast against the far more humanistic, modern day species everyone knows.

Personally I like Iron Moth better
Really? Iron Moth just looks like Robot Volc to me, it's okay I guess.

Even Valiant? Dumbshit troony meme aside

these designs show just how lazy gamefreak is
paradox mons were a mistake
The random tiny bit of green on the tail annoys me
would agree if it didn't have the shitty tail
Original Volcarona mogs. Slither Wing is just Volcarona but edgier. Zero effort or creativity involve in the design
Holy shit it's ugly. Get better taste. My eyes hurts just looking at it
That's what your parents think about you kek
This meme you're forcing is boring btw
What meme? Meds.
