Have you gotten all gold symbols? I have.
Favorite Facility? For me it's the Factory.
I wish Game Freak would ever try something like this again, it's impressive just how much they got right on their first try.
gen 4's is better
I like both, but I think Gen 4 is probably better if you average out all the facilities, if that makes sense.
Tower and Factory are comparable, and Arcade is really fun. Castle is basically just a battle tower where you can use the points to skip half the battles towards the Gold symbol though. Hall is okay, but the streak is way too long.
Arcade and Castle are some of my favourites, but it was funny how many points I stockpiled in the latter towards the end, poor Darach never stood a chance.

I've put my Symbol collecting on hold for a long time but almost. Only have the Dome, Tower, and Factory left. Still sad ORAS got cucked out of the frontier, even if Palace sucks balls.
I'm doing a ribbon pokemon run and on the side I've done some frontier to grind BP and so far I've got 4 silver symbols, Palace, Dome, Arena, and Pike. I'm gonna build a good ream and try the rest for real.
Aside from Factory what team do you guys think best is for each facility
the classic latios, metagross, swampert team never fails
Werster used a core of Swampert, Latios, and Metagross during his run, but that was a speedrun team.
I used PkHeX so I tried a new team for each facility, from the left column to the right column are my Pike, Palace, Pyramid, and Arena teams respectively. For the Palace team Metagross, Swampert, and Salamence only use 2-3-2 moves respectively because of how the facility works.
I didn't know it at the time but I'd recommend Blissey for the Pike and Pyramid, Aromatherapy and Soft-boiled could help you out a lot.
NTA but I can say as someone who played on cartridge without access to trading I used a Miltank in the Pyramid for healing instead of Swampert
Miltank is great overall honestly, solid speed, Body Slam cheese, Milk Drink.
Thanks! And np. Regice is fun because it's one of the few mons that naturally gets BoltBeam and gen 3 Explosion is broken so that's fun, but I wanted something faster and a bit less frail typing wise that hit the same niche with Thunderbolt/Ice move (HP ice), so I landed on Raikou instead.
I might use it again at some point though, I made so many mons just in case that I didn't touch.
Those are some cool teams, I went with Torchic for my starter so no swampert, but if I really needed to I'd just glitzer pop glitch in one but that's a bit of work. Thanks for the Blissey/Slakng tip that's a good call. I see you've got a regice how'd that go for you
You got a lot of options is basically what I'm saying. These are the 6 I'm planning to finish off with.
I also liked Slaking a lot as a lead in the Pyramid, it kills most things in a turn so Truant isn't much of an issue.
When I played it I only got all the silver ones
best way to cheese the tower? I need the ribbons for my master,and I beat emerald before I remembered ruby/sapphire's was supposed to be easier.

You can get the ribbon with double battles which are probably easier since no Tycoon fights and being able to focus fire one of the two mons during battlle

Same with no set mode or turning animations off
I was so mad about this, I hsd so many mons on standby and items saved up to create facility teams, then they just got cut. Cutting animations and set is ludicrous too.
