Remember when moronic pokegays were saying this game was "good" or "a step in the right direction". I wonder what they are thinking now that pal world completely f-ed it in the a. They must think pal world is some genre defining masterpiece lmao.

Unironically I am playing Palworld.
Imagine playing an default character controller Unreal engine asset flip game for 28 hours, lmao
>stop having fun
this shit outsold palgirled in one day
>Biggest franchise in the world full of genuinely braindead fanboys sells more than an indie game
What a surprise
And yet Palworld has sold 6 million in 4 days with 0 advertisement outside of giving some copies to streamers and youtubers, it's an indie and exclusive to xbox and pc
This game can unironically compete with pokemon long term if the reinvest some of the money they made and buikd on top of their already solid base
oh wow, they ripped off Pokemon and gave them guns
I am shocked
color me shock
>0 advertisement outside of giving some copies to streamers and youtubers
>0 advertisement outside of conventional digital advertising and also being on fricking game pass
Not likely, palworld sold 5 million copies on steam in one day which is 1/3 of Arceus' lifetime sales. (14.8 million) It's also on gamepass, so not only is it most likely already is more hands than pokemon ever will be, but it will ultimately dwarf it in sales.
I think I was still right since Palworld pulls from Legends Arceus more than any other pokemon game. Even the UI is a little bit similar.
no. legends arceus is generic slop and so is pal world.
It was a good baby step in the right direction but a baby step nonetheless
Palworld and Legends Arceus aren't exactly the same game. And Legends Arceus was still a step in the right direction for Pokemon.
>this game's controls
how many times have you immediately deployed braviary, only to immediately fall and take damage because you meant to deploy Wyrdeer?
sounds like a skill issue to me
I turned it on recently for the first time in a year because I wanted to evolve a Pokémon from SV that only evolves in legends, and I couldn't figure out where the save option was
I feel like Palworld changed direction during development or something because the final product resembles Legends Arceus more than the first trailer did. In any case I still think Legends was a good game if it's going to inspire another pretty successful game like this.
Is Palworld some always online survival game? If so I'm not interested.
You can play Palworld offline and single player. But yes, it is survival-slop, and the character creator is ass. ASS.
It's literally just Ark but with poorly recolored pokemon. There's no actual combat system like pokemon's.
If it didn't have the pokemon knockoff/lmao you can shoot pokemon gimmick to it people would've just written it off as January 2024's FOTM survival game, especially since this is from the Cratopia devs.
>Is Palworld some always online survival game
Single player is more fun than multiplayer honestly.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA POKEgay TEARS ARE SO SWEET BROS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE SALTY WTF
Arceus was good
I loved pokemon legends arceus, now im playing palworld.
>They must think pal world is some genre defining masterpiece lmao.
That's common with Nintendies since they never leave their enclosed zone to play other games, like when BOTW blew their minds by giving them a more polished Ubisoft open world
Yeah it was better than other Pokemon, but it made me realize no one knows how to make the perfect Pokemon game I always visualized, Palworld is like Arceus but took the tedious parts and multiplied them by a thousand
The truth is that it was ALWAYS trash, and anyone who praised it was buying into FOTM hype.
>I wonder what they are thinking now that pal world completely f-ed it in the a
I play Palworld and:
I still think it's good
I still think it's the right direction for the franchise
I still want to see more of it and less stagnated Turn Based Comp Autism from SV
What you gonna do about it?
>less stagnated Turn Based Comp Autism from SV
Holy shit frick off, why can't people like you just admit you don't like pokemon?
>I still want to see more of it and less stagnated Turn Based Comp Autism from SV
Frick off, casual
As a non-cultist Pokémon fan that played this game I thought it was cool and that if they made a sequel to it it would be amazing. That game is basically Palworld (which i haven’t played and probably won’t). Why does Nintendo let their good ideas collect dust and instead opt to shit out bad clones?
The last time I played Pokemon before PLA was Ruby, so I sure am not a Pokegay
And I do think it was a step in the right direction, but felt like it was nothing more than a tech demo
PALworld is PLA but infinitely better
Sex with Mahiro.
>They must think pal world is some genre defining masterpiece lmao.
this but nonronically
>I wonder what they are thinking now that pal world completely f-ed it in the a. They must think pal world is some genre defining masterpiece lmao.
unironic answer? Palworld made me remember that in spite of it's glaring flaws, PLA was a fun game and I'd love to see a sequel that lives up to it's potencial
I'm having fun playing Palworld but I liked PLA better
