There were mild signs of aftually maybe considering trying to improve instead of coasting, but only in very specific areas, while fricking up everything else. Just looked it up. Those numbers are including merch and everything ever sold for Pokémon. The MCU is only listing the box office sales in that chart.

Why fix something that isn't broken? It objectively is a terrible idea to fix Pokemon if it is printing money harder and faster than ever anon. If anything 90% of 'why they not do better thing' is because unless it is nosediving it shouldn't be touched at all. Keep the same slop quality as it sells.
