That doesn't say its artificial. Also, where's that fromr
On top of that the Kalos War 3,000 years into the past depicts magnemites being around. They're like klank in the sense that they are natural creatures that inspired things like gears and magnets.
Ampharos is Field + Monster
Shiftry is Field + Grass
Meganium is Monster + Grass
You can't explain it evolutionarily. Unless you consider Pokemon losing and gaining an egg group through (natural) evolution, what makes this kind of evolutionary tree possible. Not to mention babies, Nidorina and Nincada changing their egg groups when they mature.
>Ditto >Manmade
No evidence, though. They really don't share a palette, even in Gen 1, and you can find them in the wild in a place that most certainly isn't Cinnabar.
>cicadas are crabs >flounders and catfish are jawless fish >toads are early reptiles >pigs are atlantogenata >glyptodons are rodents >sloths are primates >pangolins are eulipotyphla >horseshoe crabs, anomolocaris, and isopods are trilobites >violin beetles are crickets >hymenoptera and fireflies placed among Polyneoptera
>scale insects are mollusks >barnacles, crinoids, and crown of thorn starfish are cnidarians >BAGWORMS ARE PLANTS
Awful. Never post this again.
also some I just noticed >hyenas are canines >orchids are mantises (excusable since there is a clear mantis basis, but the typing implies it's an orchid that imitates a mantis and not the other way around) >leafbugs are mantises >mantises are crickets
True.
Though sometimes mons takes far more inspiration from one thing than the other.
Take Mamoswine for example. Yeah, there are some obvious mammoth inspirations, but it's still quite clearly a boar. Still slightly excusable, but there is no excuse for calling Swinub an elephant.
I wonder if TPC will ever decide to do some actual worldbuilding instead of leaving everything extremely vague, but who knows, maybe that's the reason why the franchise has been able to persist all this time, you know, midichlorians and shit.
I know what you mean for Alakazam, but I don't really see the Baphomet connection aside from a pentagram. Alakazam lacks wings and cloven feet, so I still just see a fox. For Abra and Kadabra the "horns" are clearly ears.
How official?
I'm Japanese.
two autists on reddit-official
Which for vp is more than Tajiri.
I hate the poketuber that said Magnemite was artificial.
>I hate the poketuber that said Magnemite was artificial.
It's an artificial alien.
source?

The 1996 Pokedex book.
It is not. Their pokedex entry says they are born/hatched implying they're biological creatures.

it's got screws and magnets boy, I don't need to watch youtube to use my eyes
>pineco with plants instead of bugs
and it's worthless
tpci has done irreparable damage
>Shaymin is purity
>not gratitude
This is better

All these fan made tree of lifes are ultimately useless due to the existence of egg groups.
>this moronation again

Ring species?
Though, I'm not really a fan of these fanfic evolution theories either.
>Ring species?
nope

They also put Lureantis in the mantis catagory, when it is literally a plant.

I'd excuse a few of those. Pokemon often take inspiration from multiple animals.
But calling glalie a mammal is bold

>Light and darkness
>Both the Sun and moon duo literally refer to light, the Sun and the moon respectively
What moron made this?
>make high effort autistic fan content
>get it wrong
>gardevoir
>great ape
This is really cool, anon. Such a fun project.
it's not his. It's been around for a while, hence why it lacks anything after Sun and Moon.
Putting pokemon in the hominid family is crazy.
Hitmonlee is a fricking human? Would a neanderthal be a pokemon?

There's plenty of worldbuilding, just not about the things you care about and the fans ignore it anyways.
>Mr. Mime
Ah yes, primeval man
>no gen 9
Yeah, it's shit
Abra should be with the foxes, it's very kitsune in the eyes and headshape.
No. It's a goat with human body. Literally baphomet.
No horns though, it can be based on Baphomet without being actually a goat.
look again, and maybe at alakazam
