I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not but I feel like S/V girls (most of them anyways) are pretty underrated for berry material. I feel like I barely see anything involving them, which is kind of a shame to me.
Definitely underrated. I've been wanting to see more, and create some myself, but it seems inspiration has been lacking for a lot of people, sadly. I also think the lack of attention drawn to most of them during advertising and even in-game doesn't help their case. The hottest women are some of the most unseen, too.
I'd also factor in how SwSh took everything out of the artists and writers considering how thirsty people were for the new girls then.
The movie really kinda sealed it for the people into it. Honestly for me the juice with the skin change adds an exotic twist to what would otherwise just be liquid expansion

Trust me, that's a big part of why I want to do that at least once. True sexual tension is so lacking with this stuff, especially in writing. It's dumb but I actually take a lot of pride in my work to the point that I don't want these to be mere smut, I want them to be more like legit erotica or something. Give people some plot with their porn, y'know?

Okay but that would be funny as hell, too. A lot can be said for taking creative liberties in making inflation "work" in-universe. Pokemon gives so many opportunities, it's rather nice how you can basically come up with anything and it could stick.
Pokémon's world is honestly fantastic for almost any kind of idea you'd have. With enough imagination, anything you could think of would work in that universe.

Definitely Gabby's story, for sure. Usually I'm just one who likes to jump into the more smutty parts, but everything building up to that just was honestly great, and just made the ending scene all the better to me.
Gardenia's story is definitely a close 2nd, though.

Well one that really comes to mind is Pokémon Duel's Brenda (seen here), as far as I know, she's got virtually nothing on or about her. Understandable since I don't believe Duel was the most popular spin-off around, but it is a shame she got left to the sands of time.
If I picked a closest to a favorite, it's either the XY Ranger or the ORAS Free Diver both of which I drew fat way back when but would like to try making them swell again sometime.
Others I like include the XY Tourist and Veterans, Grunts from Galactic, Aqua, Magma, and BW Plasma, BW2 Guitarist, and a frick ton of beauties.

>Mars and Jupiter: In there desperate attempt to find Cyrus, they enlist researchers to their cause, including newly freed Chiron. He wants nothing to do with them, and subjugates them with the berry through his connections and leaves them to "suffer"
>Claire: One of those 'quiet' types, she sneaks off after hours to try the berry after hearing rumors. Ends up getting stuck in the Dragon's Den and calls Lance in a panic to help
>Courtney: Thinks she's becoming friends with Shelly, who she receives a gift from. Trying the baked good, she ends up swelling and finds it addicting and wants to stay that way, much to the present Maxie and Tabitha's disgust
>DJ Mary: Once it becomes too much to contain, the 'Belue Challenge' becomes a hot new trend. Mary decides to broadcast her own experiences to cash in, for better or worse

Obviously not everyone is that obscure, but you've got to have some balance, you know? As for the other characters, yeah that's kinda the plan. I don't want everything to always tie into the overarching story other so I have some extra flexibility. Depending on what ideas come, some of those other ladies may tie in to events (like come on, Ariana 100% would play into the story) and others might just be more one-offs like Lizabeth.

I don't remember anything in their PokéDexes or Movesets implying they can. But you could probably make something up about them using Curse to inflate some unsuspecting ladies.
I've played with that idea before, though I can't remember what concept I was originally thinking of using it for. In another vein, Cursed Body could work splendidly to that end. Just don't frick with ghost types or else you're in for a hell of a time!
And that's what I love so much about it. Sure there's always great stuff when they get excited or lustful, or even embarrassed. But when you tap into those other, lesser seen emotions? That's the good stuff. Anger and indignation over being subjected to it, even as their shouting grows muffled. Indifference is so good as they just observe, not even reacting outside of idly curiosity as they see their body morph before their eyes. And pairing those with the right Pokegirls as you said, god it just adds such dimension to it all.

I might sound a bit basic, but I kind of like the way you do it. The target initially being shocked and/or fearful with it gradually growing into intense, bottomless arousal and desire for more. Actually, I think it does more for me when its like that rather than them just starting out horny.
I like the envision it adds a little bit of aphrodisiac or something of that sort, or at the very least try to play into the thought the tightness and rubbing on the nipples and other sensitive areas contributing to the gradual arousal. Of course unless they have a kink for it, they won't immediately be horny. You have to work them there, whether by their own doing or by the conditions getting them aroused. I want it to be at least somewhat realistic even if I'm just one guy who sometimes gets help on the woman's experience of it so it adds a little more.
That said, I don't want it to always be the same way, too. Maybe some horniness, but if they're left terrified or angry by the end, that's just as well! Either way, sometimes all they need is a little push.
