Pokmon Emerald cartdrige fake or legit

I have this Pokémon Emerald card with no sparkles in the label, and just 1 code printed E4. I know there's cartdriges with 2 codes and with sparkles in the label. Is my copy fake or just an old version?

It's fake, this one is a better made one that came along later on from China.
You could find these at hispanic flea market game stands.

the PCB markings can appear very faint under certain lighting, it's probably just not visible in the lighting.

How close to the real games are these fakes? If you caught a pokemon in it, could you transfer it up to pokemon bank and it wouldn't be rejected?

Why are you so worried about it being legit?
You have the game so enjoy it.

I couldn't tell you. But what code are referencing?
          >AGB-BPEE-USA
You mean that? Can't speak for all carts, but that's all mine has, just like yours. Anyways anon, your cart looks like the real deal to me. If you really want to be thorough, try and send some Pokemon over to a generation 4 game. Fakes can't do that.

He may have spent lots of money on it. I've seen the shittiest fakes go for like $80 at game stores

Op here, it has the circles

I can see the righthand markings so that does seem legitimate

Definitely real. The four golden squares are usually a great tell but even the best of fakes don't have the imprints in the front like the first pic does. You're good.

Oops got my pics messed up. I still think it's real though, just with a replaced sticker.

‘Nintendo’ should be printed right above the contacts, you need the right angle and light to see. Pretty sure chinks don’t replicate this.

If you do this it will void the warranty.
You can still send it in to Nintendo for a replacement.

a good way to tell if a gba cart is legit or not is to use a ds and have a gen 4 game in the ds slot while the gba game is in the gba slot. if the pal park notif appears on the screen its legit, if not you got scammed.

    some signs
If you move it under a light, it should have a crystal pattern that shines across the cartridge.
If you look in the bottom of the cartridge, you should see nintendo on the board above the pins. Also there does appear to be a stamped code on the front which is a good sign.
I'd wager on real, but may not see all.

    >no sparkles
Grab a flashlight and shine it, it should sparkle. Some legit carts only have one code. Usually with the label alone I could guess if it's legit. I would guess yours is but the only way to be certain is to see the motherboard.

Rate my diy repros, they both work on Pokémon coliseum and work on pal park. Emerald also has rtc.

Most of the cheap chinese ones suck, they have no rtc, no palpark and coliseum support, and their saves are written to the rom chip instead, so whenever you save the game, the game freezes.

      because
      >there's no satisfaction or value in owning repros
      >a repro cart would cost like 20$ if it didn't exist purely to scam people
      >for the price of a single expensive game you could just buy a good flashcart and play literally any game you want

I used to agree with this until I brought a repro and played it to its fullest. the biggest problem is that they dont save your data correctly and can just wipe out everything overnight for no reason. they're more trouble than they're worth in the end.

People buy fakes all the time, they just don't want to pay the price of a legit cart for it.

it's hard to read in the picture, but the text is as follows:
        >(Nintendo)
        >MODEL NO. AGB-002
        >PAT. PEND. MADE IN JAPAN

there is also some text on the circuitry board legible, like 'TP1' by the highest circle on the right
