    Ursaluna - Bloodmoon Form
It crossed the sea and drifted ashore in a new land. Surviving in this place led it to take on a unique appearance and gain special powers.
This special Ursaluna can see in the dark with its left eye and protects itself with mud that is as hard as iron.

It doesn't, it's an alternate form to Ursaluna. So ursaring becomes one of the two.

So how's this thing gonna function? Will you be able to change vanilla Ursaluna into this form? Can Ursaring evolve into it? Will it just be its own thing?

        Dual type

        >1014: Okidogi
        - After all its muscles were stimulated by the toxic chain around its neck, Okidogi transformed and gained a powerful physique.
        - Okidogi is a ruffian with a short temper. It can pulverize anything by swinging around the chain on its neck.

        >1015: Munkidori
        - The chain is made from toxins that enhance capabilities. It stimulated Munkidori's brain and caused the Pokémon's psychic powers to bloom.
        - Munkidori keeps itself somewhere safe while it toys with its foes, using psychokinesis to induce intense dizziness.

        >1016: Fezandipiti
        - Fezandipiti owes its beautiful looks and lovely voice to the toxic stimulants emanating from the chain wrapped around its body.
        - Fezandipiti beats its glossy wings to scatter pheromones that captivate people and Pokémon.

        >1017: Ogerpon (Teal Mask form)
        - This Pokémon's type changes based on which mask it's wearing. It confounds its enemies with nimble movements and kicks.
        - This mischief-loving Pokémon is full of curiosity. It battles by drawing out the type-based energy contained within its masks.

        >1017: Ogerpon (Wellspring Mask form)
        - This form excels in both attack and defense. It ceaselessly unleashes moves like a spring gushes water.
        - In this form, it draws on the power of water. It attacks unrelentingly with kicks and ivy strikes.

        >1017: Ogerpon (Heartflame Mask form)
        - This form is the most aggressive, bombarding enemies with the intensity of flames blazing within a hearth.
        - In this form, it draws on the power of fire. It spears its enemies with thorn-covered ivy.

        >1017: Ogerpon (Cornerstone Mask form)
        - This form has excellent defenses, absorbing impacts solidly like the cornerstones that support houses.
        - In this form, it draws on the power of stone. Its body is rock-solid, protecting it from all manner of attacks.

        >This Pokémon's type changes based on which mask it's wearing
I don’t think you can use the form seen in the trailer, so with the masks it has it’ll be

Yeah you might be right actually, the dex entry leads me to believe it just puts on the mask in battle, like how Zacian/Zamazenta always appear in their base forms outside of battle despite holding the item. I’m assuming that mask is just pure grass

    Leaked Moves
    >Blood Moon
The user unleashes the full brunt of its spirit from a full moon that shines as red as blood. This move can't be used twice in a row.

    >Matcha Gotcha
The user fires a blast of tea that it mixed. The user's HP is restored by up to half the damage taken by the target. This may also leave the target with a burn.

    >Syrup Bomb
The user sets off an explosion of sticky candy syrup,
which coats the target and causes the target's Speed stat to drop each turn for three turns.

    >Ivy Cudgel
The user strikes with an ivy-wrapped cudgel. This move's type changes depending on the mask worn by the user, and it has a heightened chance of landing a critical hit.

    >1011: Dipplin
    - Dipplin is two creatures in one Pokémon. Its evolution was triggered by a special apple grown only in one place.
    - The head sticking out belongs to the fore-wyrm, while the tail belongs to the core-wyrm. The two share one apple and help each other out.

    >1012: Poltchageist (Unremarkable Form)
    - Supposedly, the regrets of a tea ceremony master who died before perfecting his craft lingered in some matcha and became a Pokémon.
    - Poltchageist looks like a regional form of Sinistea, but it was recently discovered that the two Pokémon are entirely unrelated.

    >1012: Poltchageist (Masterpiece Form)
    - It sprinkles some of its powdery body onto food and drains the life-force from those who so much as lick it.
    - It has taken up residence in a very expensive tea caddy. It takes an expert to distinguish the expensive tea caddies from the cheap ones.

    >1013: Sinistcha (Unremarkable Form)
    - It pretends to be tea, trying to fool people into drinking it so it can drain their life-force. Its ruse is generally unsuccessful.
    - It prefers cool, dark places, such as the back of a shelf or the space beneath a home's floorboards. It wanders in search of prey after sunset.

    >1013: Sinistcha (Masterpiece Form)
    - It lives inside a superb teacup that was crafted by a potter of great renown. Collectors positively adore this Pokémon.
    - The more stirring it does with the tea whisk on its head, the more energy it builds up. It does this to prepare for battle.

I’ve always wanted this — a line that splits in the middle forms then they all evolve into the same Pokémon at the end. It would be fitting, too, since the Gmax were the same.

                >a line that splits in the middle forms then they all evolve into the same Pokémon at the end
I've thought about this before, and come to the conclusion that it will never happen because it would result in the final pokemon being the same regardless of the middle form. It simply wouldn't matter what the middle form was.
In theory you could have each middle form learn moves that the final form can't, so you get access to unique moves depending on the route, but I think this would be lame and not feel like a good reward for giving up the unique middle forms.
It IS possible we could get one final evo that has different forms depending on what the middle evo was, but that's basically three different pokemon in one dex slot.

                Anonymous

And then you lose those unique moves when you send it through Home lol

                Anonymous

I think it could work if you nake the middle forms all useful on their own right. They can design them like final forms already and then make an evolution that just changes stat distributions around but has a design that makes sense to justify the concept.

Like imagine if Scizor and Kleavor both evolved into the same Pokemon. You'd still use Scizor and Kleavor even if the evo is good.

Sandaconda getting an evo makes more sense than dipplin, considering it's actually a snake and not a worm in an apple. This seems more plasbale considering Duraludon got a evo and Sandaconda G-max form matches somewhat with the leak

If you believe the leaks, the snake mon hinted at isn't just any old snakes. It's two snakes around a pole: a caduceus.
Dipplin has a pole and two worms/wyrms/snakes.
              Sandaconda is one snake.
I would love a sandaconda evo but you're stupid if you expect one.

I expect nothing but I'm not going to blindly believe everything I see. I think I've read at least 5-7 different leak interpretations and Khu most of the time just posts nonsenses for clicks. No one predicted Duraludon turning into a bridge despite that leak being up for weeks. Also Hydreigon gained split heads when it evolved so that doesn't really mean anything. Dipplin is not going to turn into some two-head ghidorah Kaiju like people keep posting. It's a tiny pokemon that already has a pre-evo. I'll wait and see what happens.

Regional forms are now rfakes so they can have an excuse to put them in newer games. Also Ursaluna serves as the pseudo-regional variant since it's basically modern Ursaluna

That's the point of micro gens, like micro brews. It's beer, but different to the mass-produced chemical bullshit. Well, I'm a human who didn't grow up feeling zoomie, but rather closer to our own wee thing, where people my age all had a shared understanding of our childhood experiences. I can't relate to kids who grew up playing SNES and learning to Win '95. I was playing NES at three years old, for frick's sake.

As I summed it up once, when we were kids, toys had sharp edges and we were told by our parents to be careful not to cut ourselves on them. We just don't have enough in common, when I remember playing Adventure of Link and they cry "Zelda NEEDS to return to the old classic formula of 8 plot tokens, 3 then 5 dungins and le heckin' single correct progression route" when it HAS gone back to its classic formula and zoomies can't handle not being told where to go, what to do and how to do it.

    >+6 252+ Atk Ursaluna Blood Moon vs. +6 252 HP / 156+ Def Garganacl: 390-458 (96.5 - 113.3%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

Always figured the Hisui pokemon didn't become extinct, since no official material ever said they did, the ways to evolve some just became harder to come by and others just changed/contracted their ranges over the centuries.

I’m assuming their explanation will be that they had no need to evolve further since the conditions weren’t as harsh as Hisui. But whatever that Bloodmoon Ursaluna is going through, allowed an ursaring to be pushed to evolving
