i'm doing ironman in parallel after i learn the maps by solo S ranking them, and i can see how it might make some people upset. fortunately tarkov has emotionally blunted me to this kinda stuff and i'm still enjoying the challenge

There's a mod for it.
You should be able to unlock cosmetics in multiplayer. You cannot unlock achievements in multiplayer.
