I think what is just unsettling is that all the fricking companions and romance options are pansexual and will literally frick anyone and anything just because they want every player to be able to frick anyone they want no matter what. It takes immersion away from the game knowing that these characters aren't sentient beings with individual preferences, they're props for you to frick whenever you feel like. It's weird that every single character has ridiculously forward advances towards you all the time. So forward it's one notch below giant red text popping up on your screen reading "DO YOU WANT TO FRICK THIS COMPANION? Y/N". I don't really care if there's gays or whatever in the game, but if you're a woman, gay dudes shouldn't want you.
What really bothers me about this too, is that if you make certain decisions, your companions will leave you. If you slaughter the grove, Karlach and Wyll immediately leave and never come back. Because they're there own characters and will not do whatever you tell them to. Unless it's sex, then everyone will do anything with anyone.
