It probably won't be $400+ or near that amount of money, but I plan on dropping some files at a 3D printing service and seeing how much they will charge me for printing and shipping it to me. >inb4 buy a printer
Can't for health reasons.
According to the general thread printing resin leaves some nasty fumes and should only be handled with gloves. I have never seen someone pick up a fine cast model with gloves, and I have seen plenty of people hold fully cured, unprimed resin models bare handed.
So I am led to believe that the uncured version you will interact with while printing is much more dangerous than the fully formed model.
Probably not going to happen, tripgay Nazi-kun. The official assault intercessors have little thrusters on the back of the calves, thus by GW-logic only official jump pack models will have need for jump packs.
I'm not trying to convert anonymous to my autistic opinions on space marine models, but on the off chance a GW marketroid sees this thread, you should know that the deliberate size creep in the primaris reboot looks like absolute shit, and it ruins everything you apply it to. I know a lot of people think of firstborn as "lol manlets" and the rest of the game has crept up in scale since the 4th edition Terminators. But Primaris look out of place next to contemporary models, like 3D prints that would pass for official product except they accidentally got printed at 115%.
In fact I'd go so far as to say the stupid "truescale" proportions make them look like counterfeit merchandise compared to, say, SM Heroes. I'm never shitty to fellow 40K players about it, if you like primaris that's fine, but I think GW would want to know that they're eroding their brand, buying space marine models used to be an extravagant luxury but buying primaris just makes you look kind of stupid.
Right, which is why chaos marines are currently taller than cadians. Primaris are taller than chaos marines which makes them look wrong. Like someone made a mistake because they didn't know how tall space marines are supposed to be. Real amateur hour shit, not what you expect from a luxury brand. Disappointing.
Yep, new airbrush, new compressor, some paints, thinner. I don't think it'll be 400 but it's gonna be close.
Negative

If you can’t print resin, you probably shouldn’t be filing dusting trimming cleaning up or handling resin models…

T. Wants to get into 3d printing
>Can't for health reasons.
stop eating, fatass
That would require he stop consuming.
All must consume.
I added all I want up, looking at $600+.
Kinda hoping they’ll sell jump pack upgrade sprues like they used to back in the day. Not feeling the little pouches on the legs and tactical rocks

Compared to which other minis? They are a far bit taller than regular humans.

Why? They are taller than Chaos Marines.

I could spend 100-150 on cheap plastic toys and have way more fun than these guys, but I'd rather spend it on rulebooks for games I'll never play.
Where aren’t the scouts or Term Captain for sale?
The codex, the datasheets, two cans of monster engegy drink ultra white and a prostitute.
I'm getting:
Jump Intercessors x2
Jump Captain
Terminators x2
Termi Chaplain
Sternguard Vets x2
Company Heroes
Dunno if that's $400+ but that's what I'm getting.
