Post Pokmon so shit that they can't even keep a spot on an in game team.

Delcatty was so shit that I put it by itself in the last box of the PC as punishment.

For me, it was Tinkaton. It has one good move and it's shit at everything else it does.

Tinkaton was actually one of the more reliable members of my SV team. Then again, this was honestly the worst in game team I've ever had.

I used Delcatty in Sapphire recently. Return/Thunderbolt/Heal Bell/Assist @ Silk Scarf. It was never the strongest member of the team, but... it got a few things done.

And then there's Kricketune. It actually swept through Roark and Gardenia pretty well, but it essentially stopped being useful after that. Against the Elite Four, it was basically just a sacrifice to use to ensure a safe switch-in for something more useful.

unless you’re using a support mon in single player, Ledian is just complete ass

Still haven't played SV, but you could not convince me to not use Wugtrio if it was known to cause a glitch that would cause my Switch to explode and burn my house down with me in it.

      I love that fricker.

Farfetch'd in Pokemon Y is the only Pokemon I ever boxed because it was just too bad.
Back then it had a lot less attack, and its bulk is just miserable.
It served me decently in the first half of the game, but after that it would just get outsped by everything, never get a KO and chug all my healing items because it took too much damage.
Eventually I had to replace it even though I love its design and personality.

I actually did use Farfetch'd to the end in Pokemon Y back when it first came out. I was getting bored with the game and decided to challenge myself to only use the weakest pokemon I had, which happened to be quacklin. It was still too easy, and it didn't help that it was getting bonus exp due to being a trade. But I grew a soft spot for the duck, I like it a lot nowadays.

Meganium. I always pick the grass starter but there's nothing for it to do in johto. It's always going to be at a disadvantage against rockets, it only has two gym leaders it can manage in chuck and Whitney, the elite 4 in hgss has two whole grass weaknesses I believe in slowbro and onix. I got tired of it and replaced it with mamoswine at the end

Meganium is more fun than powerful for me. I always choose it and I run a set of razor leaf / body slam / earthquake / synthesis or screens. Very enjoyable in comparison to the other two starters in my opinion

I actually used Volbeat competitively pre-baton pass ban.
Tail Glow/Baton Pass/Encore/Thunder Wave with prankster can set up a sweep like nobody's buisness.

In single player, Encore alone is enough to make something insane.
In a HGSS nuzlocke I did recently, a Togetic with Wish/Encore/Baton Pass/Ancientpower was broken.
Get 1 Ancientpower Boost with Serene Grace and BP to anything is ez win

I liked the design too, but even in an easy game like SV he just didn't do anything but faint

You're using it wrong. Meganium sets screens and uses Razor Leaf and Body Slam for damage, with its support you can take on enemies that hit hard like Red. It can also heal itself and poison others.

it's criminal that Meganium doesn't learn Leech Seed

This. I used my Meganium as my lead against Red’s Pikachu to set up dual screens.

Name ONE Pokemon that got fricked over harder than Chikorita given the context of everything that went against it.

      >movepool is sorely lacking
      >mono type grass pokemon with nothing to make up for it
      >lackluster attacking stats (83/83), people want at least 100 for either attack or special attack in a playthrough
      >people also generally prefer straight-up attackers for a playthrough
      >almost every gym in its debut region fricks it over
      >team rocket also fricks it over
      >leaf guard does nothing for it, even preventing HP recovery since it prevents the use of rest
      >leech seed is only available as an egg move
      >meganium is forever shitted on

Game Freak can rightfully frick off and a starter Pokemon shouldn't have to be weak.
