I cared only before he lost in indigo league. then I knew he was going to lose forever, and see how he lost until he finally won, then they ended the show. Typical.
Agreed. >more kanto worship in a generation already full of it >started the dexcut >pandering to gobabs who probably never even bought let's go so what's the fricking point >fricking trace
the treehouse where they announced dex cuts. have not bought a game since then.
This was the straw that broke the back for me, mainly because Let's Go is a spinoff, I assumed it wouldn't have any long lasting effects on the series. Oh how naive I was...
i cant find the picture but there was a character sheet/ production image of the X&Y anime that came out before the games, and it was the first time i saw Fletchling
instantly in that moment i realised that i might be too old for pokemon
People always bring Snivy up, but I first remember in Johto Ash's Charizard completely embarrassed this b***h's team. Then in the rematch he switched to Pikachu to play a bit more fair and her lv5 chikorita just tanked his attacks because of the type disadvantage.
As a kid I thought that was pure bullshit. Especially when the anime constantly makes a point of type advantages not mattering that much with fire types sometimes beating water types in 1v1s and such.
Anime - that episode
Games - Gen 5, I didn't the starters, I thought it was a bad start and finally, I forced my way to finish BW, never again. Didn't like the starters, the map, the rivals, the mon design, the "story", some cool one evolve late or are near E4, that level curve before E4, these stats distribution on some, the postgame, everything. The damage was done, it was useless to bring the old mons in the sequel. Even when I play hackmons with strictly new Pokémon in it, I didn't have this level of disgust in a Pokemon game.
I suffered through the entire game hoping the railroading and handholding would ease up. It did not.
I play JRPGs regularly and I can say that this game by far had one of the worst handled main campaigns in the genre.
So much potential wasted. They put all that effort into a great region, some great Pokemon designs, and a fairly cool idea with the ultra beast stuff. But then they ruined it with the most dogshit gameplay I have ever witnessed.

Gen 4, tepid rehash of gen 3's anime >games
Gen 5, tepid rehash of gen 4 which was a tepid rehash of gen 3. In retrospect although it was ugly as sin, with the worst monster designs, music and characters in the franchise, gen 5 was ultimately better than gen 4 just because it wasn't so godawful slow. It still sucks, though.
I never cared about Ash's battles. Pikachu was winning against pokemon he shouldn't have been able to since the beginning of the show. I like the traveling around parts, pokemon, and filler episodes that show what life is like with pokemon. I only care about Kanto and Johto episodes.
I've said for nearly a decade and a half that Pikachu was power-zapped by fricking Zekrom. All you morons screeching it was proof of a "soft reboot" need to be gassed with VX.
>Still watching the anime during Gen V
Fricking hell are you all really that young? I was bored of it by the time it got to Gen 2/3, it was just really formulaic and just felt like I was watching a show for really little kids.
XYZ, even as a kid I thought the sun and moon art style looked fricking horrible.
But SM had smoother animations over XY though.
>Smoother animations
Sean, animations are pointless when the thing you're animating looks like a gravity falls rejected concept art.
I am not Sean.
the battles didn't look like that
The show looked embarrassing
>even as a kid
you have to be over 18 to post here
I am 18 moron
Happy birthday.
this snivy is genned to have perfect iv and be lv.100
But Pikachu should have been at level 200 by that time.
>Making the mistake of caring to begin with
OP is never gonna make it.
I cared only before he lost in indigo league. then I knew he was going to lose forever, and see how he lost until he finally won, then they ended the show. Typical.
Sword and Shield.
I'll stick to 3ds games and bellow, they're more engaging.
in the anime, around Hoenn because he stopped being a funny smartass
This was the first time I was actually angry at a pokemon game
how exactly do you get angry at a children's game?
>children videogame
>purposefully rehash kanto another time to cater to oldgays
Yeah sure.
>cater to oldgays
lmao if that's what you think, you're deluded
Agreed.
>more kanto worship in a generation already full of it
>started the dexcut

This was the straw that broke the back for me, mainly because Let's Go is a spinoff, I assumed it wouldn't have any long lasting effects on the series. Oh how naive I was...
>eat some 'za
>immediately had to shit after
What's up with that my fellow /vp/maniacs?
the treehouse where they announced dex cuts. have not bought a game since then.
Same.
Hugging a plushie because you know people will hate you
agreed, albeit only thing that broke my streak was this upcoming Bank apocalypse
I am weak
When palworld born, better than pokeslop in every aspect
Dynamax trailer.
That shit looked stupid as frick.
scarlet and violet. The art director is terrible and should never work on another game
C O R R E C T

why, fletchling is one of the least offensive nuPokemon that could fit with old pokemon well enough. it's not that different from starly or pidove

a wild underlevelled pokemon hypnotised all my pokemons and slowly killed them all

Posting this should get you instantly banned after how many times its been proven false that IV is slower than III

The trailer when they scrapped megas and z moves for dynamax

Pikachu still missed with iron tail, you know it is bullshit anyway when a snivy level 5 can win over a pikachu level 200
Wasnt there some time where pikachu jobbed to a water type shitmon?
>Still watching the anime during Gen V

pokemon was for 10 year olds always, but some episodes do seem to be made for kids even younger than 10
