There's a dude who plays arbiter commander and when he shows up I just leave early - literally no point in playing against someone who's whole deck is "you can't untap anything or play cards". They really need to go back to substantial increases with things like "50% chance all DOTs are doubled" or "Hitting a headshot causes other enemies heads to explode". You know just some shit that actually makes the game fun and different and not what you described like "+1 poison to already posioned enemies" its fricking pointless. Mostly happens in ubisoft games
it's why talent trees that aren't actual substantial unlocks always end up being shit. something like borderlands has one good ability to unlock, and then you spend the next thirty padding out percentages that just improves basic stats slightly. then you look at diablo 2 and you directly unlock boners and meat golems as a new unlock and improving those things gives them even further capabilities that aren't just 6% damage per level.
