If Nintendo had a case they would've gone after Palworld years ago, they wouldn't have waited for years until they actually finished their game, released it, and sold it for money

>Actually it was all according to keikaku and they knew a slap job UE game would make bajillions so they waited to sue them
Ok, so why didn't they make the slap job UE game instead?
So then why didn't they do that with all of the other fangames people made? Just wait until they finish development then sue em for money. Easy payout right?
Everyone always says that Nintendo is going to sue but when I hear opinions from actual lawyers nearly all of them say Nintendo either doesn't have a case, or if they try it'll be a very risky lawsuit that will ultimately be an uphill battle with little chance of success
>but when I hear opinions from actual lawyers nearly all of them say Nintendo either doesn't have a case
You speak to allot of lawyers huh Anon? Fricking liar
I get that having a copyright on things like capturing fantastical creatures in spheres or the designs of those creatures being a few simple geometric shapes based off irl animals and solid colors is ridiculous but it's got to all add up a bit to start infringing on the whole thing right? Is it okay if people in China xerox your good idea and sell it to millions of people if they at least change ball to sphere and the like?
i got mine on steam but if that happens i will pirate it as well
I'm not worried. If Rockstar couldn't get Valve to take away my old GTA's, and lord knows they'd do it, I don't think existing copies of Palworld are going to be forcibly refunded
Nintendo isn't gonna sue because it's literally just terminally online westerners begging them to frick over palworld, japs literally don't give a single shit and are actively mocking the plagiarism claims on Xitter
I seached for パルワールド on twitter then used the translation function to see what they're saying about the game

>nintendo fans feel so threatened by the existence of palword that they literally start fantasizing about it being shut down

They were waiting for it to make big bucks, aka NOW. Please use your brain

So admittedly they were choosing not to protect their IP. I don't think you realize how much that would hurt their case if they did decide to sue
>they were waiting for them to get enough money to pay for lawyers to be able to easily defend themselves
>people who autistically grind for hours trying to get the right nature, IVs etc are moronic
who could've known?
>MY FAVORITE CORPORATION HAS TO WIN AGAINST SOME KIDS IN THEIR BEDROOM! AHHHHHH
Nintendo homosexuals and Capcom homosexuals are the most deranged people in the industry today.
Oh no. I better buy it now, then.
TWO CAKES, EAT THEM MOTHERFRICKER
It doesn't matter. I have the game and they can't take it

My dad is a lawyer working for nintendo and he says they do have a case though
I get that having a copyright on things like capturing fantastical creatures in spheres or the designs of those creatures being a few simple geometric shapes based off irl animals and solid colors is ridiculous but it's got to all add up a bit to start infringing on the whole thing right? Not unless the things adding up have trademarks or copyrights
Truth Bomb:
The people being contrarians pretending the blatant copying from palworld isn't that are more cringe than the pokemon fans defending pokemon.
>company gets sued
>I'll still be able to play the game because piracy
i got mine on steam but if that happens i will pirate it as well

bump
Why did no one in this thread follow the rules of the ITT
There are rules?
no need to sue, just let it die in 1 or 2 months which is going to happen
Nintendo isn't gonna sue because it's literally just terminally online westerners begging them to frick over palworld, japs literally don't give a single shit and are actively mocking the plagiarism claims on Xitter
