Johto has the The Story of The towers and the Beasts, , Celebi and Ilex forest,, and Ruins of Alph, Even just one of those could would be enough. There's also various sects like the Sprout Tower sages, the Kinomo girls, and the Dragon Clan that Johto Legends could delve into. And that;s not even including the Sinjoh that

It’s not perfect, but Legends was the most I enjoyed a game since BW2. All the rest kinda blend into each other and have that same “post 3D Game Freak” stink.
To be fair, Legends Johto could work, since there’s Sinjoh lore to be explored. It’s just that sadly another Let’s Go seems more likely to come from Game Freak. Like how the Sinnoh remakes had so much potential but they were simply relegated to a hollow HD port for a quick buck.
Shitno is the most shilled region and it got the exact remake it deserved.
