the game had an open beta, also tons of footage online before the launch, including dev interviews where they openly talked about how and where the game was going in its direction, they were extremely open with their moronation and how out of touch they were from the start
if anyone bought the game expecting something else I don't know what to say
it took me playing 1 hour of the open beta (that came right after a fomo burger king campaign, fricking kek) to realize that the game was just fundamentally uninteresting, the game at its core, in the first act was already more akin to a check list/google calendar planner, go from A to B, wait for event to spawn, do this random generic dungeon, listen to npcs speak, loophole

I had concerns, but I caved and bought it when a friend got it and suggested we play together. Unfortunately we both discovered it's trash together, too late to refund. Lesson learned.
