You know what? I'm saying! Gen RBY are only liked for being the first in the series. Outside of nostalgia they are shit.
You know what? I'm saying it. Gen8 is only universally hated because of dexit. Sword & Shield aren't really that bad.
You know what? I'm saying it.
CENTRO IS A Black person
Genwunners are right about 90% of things and Gen I is a top-tier generation that people unfairly shit on because of a number of bugs, most of which are easily avoidable and don't show up in a casual playthrough.
HOLY BASED
You know what? I'm saying it. Glitches aside, the basegame of Scarlet & Violet genuinely suck.
Mt Coronet isn't that bad
Victory road is way more tedious
USUM is one of the best games in the franchise and Totem Pokemon are way better than Gym Leaders. The only reason this isn't a popular opinion is because this franchise is filled with casuals who don't care about the gameplay.
Based. I actually enjoyed Totem battles a lot.
t. casual
The difference between old and nu pokemon doesn't mean anything for quality. DP were bad and old. SM and LA were good and nu.
The division is only relevant specifically talking about game design, and that should be based on what the devs have actually said about their thought process, not what fans think.
>SM and LA were good and nu
Bait
False
West sea Gastrodon fans should be shot on sight.
Gholdengo doesn't deserve all the hate it gets, and any fan attempts to "improve" its design completely fall flat.
I still don't understand why the cheese man gets so much hate.
It wasn't what people were expecting the 1000th Pokemon to be; didn't help that it's great in gameplay as well. Its method of evolution is an honorable mention, as it requires you to go on a more literal treasure hunt.
Determining which region's dex is the worst by how many bad designs it has is moronic as you're only going to spend 2% of your time looking at said designs. People should be determining it by how many good designs it has. This is why Gen 6 is shit, because it barely has any good designs. Sure, you can go "much Vanilluxe/Electrode/Jynx/Garbrador/babies/Electivire/etc." but at least I can build a full team of Pokemon I do like in those gens which is more than I can say for Kalos
The correct mindset
Which mon, Anon?
well then shouldnt we be doing the math of how many times you can encounter each mon and what their encounter rate is and then see how many good versus bad designs are at the top?
You know what? I'm saying it.
I want to FRICK my favourite mon up the ass.
You know what? I'm sayin' it! There has been no good reason ever given for why Pokemon games cost $60 today versus $40 in the past!
You know what? I'm saying it. Evolution by level-up is braindead lazy, every Pokemom should have a bespoke item or special evo method.
i don't want another runerigus thanks
There should be no events for Mythicals. They should become available in-game once the player achieves a certain feat.
Who the frick drew that Pichu? I gotta see their gallery
I believe Gen 5 creating a new batch of 151 pokemon (and in Black and White restricting the player to just them before post game) was a good idea. It created a chance for players to get attatched to new mons, and if they were unsatisfied they could catch and trade in old favorites after the story. That and it made it a lot easier for Unova to develop its own identity, since the player would be so often exposed to its region's pokemon.
