The dark gothic fantasy atmosphere that also has a charming artstyle, the humor to not make it some edgy game, the challenging yet fair gameplay, puzzles are also fun. Sir Dan, on top of other characters are really well designed and memorable. The controls and certain sections having fixed cameras can be iffy to some, especially by modern day standards, but the devs were trying out different ideas back when there was no real standard for those types of games. Honestly, just emulate it, it's a PS1 game so it's not like it requires much to try it out for yourself.
Also, the OST is a banger.
I don't own a PS4 or PS5, so I've never tried it. From what I've understood, it's a pretty faithful remake that has pretty much everything on point. Maybe some of the graphics choices are questionable, but the gameplay, story and everything else seems to be just like in the original. Honestly I have no clue why Sony won't port it to PC.

But I’m too terrified of finding out I’m actually <6 to pull out the measuring tape and girls say my size gets the job done so that’s good enough for me
