for games that came out this year Octopath Traveler 2 is best game I've played this year. I personally enjoyed Sea of Stars more.
I wanted it to be FF16, it is definitely not. I have mixed feelings it is by one the most bipolar games I've ever played. the high points are amazing, low points are so bad I almost quit playing more than once. If anything it made me regret getting a PS5 because that was the reason I got in the first place.
TOTK despite its many flaws deserves probably will win goty and I won't say it didn't deserve it, it kinda did.
