I wish this was the case, but honestly it seems like Fromsoft is unironically going in the troony direction. In cut content, Miquella was voiced by a female, so he'll probably be voiced by a female in the DLC too. And seeing how Mohg was trying to impregnate Miquella to start a dynasty with him, Miquella is probably biologically female. I hope I'm wrong but it's not looking good for us, femboybros.
At least Gwyndolin was voiced by a male with an impressively androgynous voice. Using a female voice actor is just cheating and is the vocal equivalent of "draw a girl, call it a guy" meme.
I don't think you know what a dynasty is, anon. You need lots and lots of impregnation to start a dynasty. Like how Godfrey and Radagon knocked up Marika with a dozen demigods. Mohg intended to do the same with Miquella, somehow.

Because a new age/dynasty cannot be created without an empyrean, each age to our knowledge has an empyrean/host for the elden ring.
There are only three confirmed empyreans, miquella, malenia and marika.

"Dynasty" means "family", anon. Mohg wants to start a family with Miquella, and have shit tons of demigod children. Because that's what Empyrean + Elden Lord couples are supposed to do.
Mohg is literally insane to the point that the Formless Mother ditched him for her plans and went with the Dung Eater and his mending rune instead. Also, based on who Miquella's parents are, any "Trina" stuff could be a literally attempt to splinter off a Rule 63 clone to later assimilate it for power, just like Marika tried with Radagon. Miquella himself is a boy.
I just want more bosses to fight of course. better bosses that aren't just a remix of existing bosses. c'mon fromsoft, give us something new(ish). like it'd be alright if they took aspects from sekiro bosses and made a new boss for elden ring specifically.
Hopes: It's cancelled and Fromsoft decides to revive one of their old IPs instead or just move on to their next Souslop IP
Fears: It's not cancelled and they will continue to make Elden Slop for few more years.

a new Lost Kingdoms game would be awesome
I saw a version of this image with the Erdtree all charred in the background. Was that an edit? I was expecting the DLC to be a prequel that explored Miquella's memories and Trina as well, similar to how Dark Souls 1's DLC brought you into the past with Oolacile.
But then I saw the art with the charred tree and thought that it surely must be more post-game content, exploring what happens AFTER you become Elden Lord.
>I saw a version of this image with the Erdtree all charred in the background. Was that an edit?
It's real. Based on that people speculate it would address the Godwyn situation as well as Miquella.
I don't think we should take the full model too seriously since we're really only meant to see the hand.
In any case the Miquella we'll see in the DLC will likely be his young self, since the DLC has a high chance of being a dream.
This made me think, Ringed City DS3 DLC was sorta a Elden Ring prototype wasn't it? Especially the swamp part. The game was almost a hallway simulator until suddenly you get a completely open area with buncha places and items to get while there's not exact easy way to know which way to go to continue the story. Also random big guys/mini boss roaming the places like the other dragonslayer armor and the giant church man.
What I expect: >one new area the size of Liurnia >2 legacy dungeons, maybe 8 or 9 mini dungeons >5 or 6 unique bosses >few new weapon types and the usual additions for spells >expands upon miquella's lore but does it in such a way that it's disjointed from the base game, final boss will not be miquella or godwyn but rather someone new that's important
Though honestly given how long they're taking to make this I would hope for a lot more on the scale of an Elden Ring 1.5, especially since I expect (and hope) the game never gets a sequel. I also particularly hope they top Malenia in terms of difficulty for the end superbosses and also make it so that bosses can start tbhmmoning spirit ashes so gays seethe even harder.
I heard its taking this long because they didn't start it until after Elden Ring released and Elden Ring was a crunch hell. Im fine with it, id rather have something good than something rushed and other good souls likes are coming out lately, but damn if there isnt going to be a hell of a gap.
Yep. Good thing is this time they have the opportunity to assess and evaluate the post-launch in ample time, see what works and what doesn't from the base game.
"fan" feedback to elden ring has been total ass though. >nooo dont put two enemies in at once i cant focus! >nooo dont punish me for healing when the boss is right infront of me and watching me, let me do it any time! >nooo dont make bosses hold their weapon up for a second before swinging it gives me anxiety!

It's so inconsistent on whether or not demigods can die. Morgott persists after death. Rykard is clearly still alive after you kill him. Yet Radahn is apparently perma-dead for some reason.
That flower thing is pretty ominous yeah. Id be thrilled if she turned into an NPC "newborn" demigod but probably just going to lead some fricked up fused abomination fight or something.
A FTH/INT weapon that doesn't deal split damage. It's actually surprising there are absolutely no Golden Order / Miquella weapons that don't do this. The only one is related to the fricking giants somehow
>far fewer sorceries than incantations >no radagon inspired sorceries or yellow glintstone >rot/poison sorceries are exclusive to enemies >death sorceries are actual shit, especially tibia summons >all the best gravity spells are ashes of war >like a dozen arcane incantations, and like… two arcane sorceries
Why did Elden Ring hate on sorceries? Were they too good?
It’s because Miracles were rolled in with Pyromancies, derp. Sorceries are also a lot more reliable. But I do agree that they were a bit lazy with the variety.
I agree specially when you consider giant incantations but ancient death rancor just melts shit in general faster than everything else.
you just need to be level 300.
Ancient Death Rancor has incredible stun lock capabilities, particularly when you fight a black knife b***h. Explosive Ghostflame, while slow, is also visually fun.
That it isn’t a DLC and a full blown sequel. I’m willing to wait an extra year for it instead of getting an alpha state of what will probably be a frick load of content.
Ranni can fricking posses people and Radahn can just throw fricking meteors at you. Rennala technically can't die.
But all the stupid item descriptions and "muh lore" say Miquella is the strongest demigod whatever the frick that means, so who knows.
>Ranni can possess people
Wrong. >Radahn
Can literally overpower a fricking constellation. >Rennala can't die
Wrong. >Miquella is the strongest demigod
He's the strongest because he's the most charming and beloved, which would make him the most effective ruler. Malenia might be strong, but a warrior =/= a leader.
>But all the stupid item descriptions and "muh lore" say Miquella is the strongest demigod whatever the frick that means
It’s clearly implied he’s the most powerful through having some kind of reality altering abilities that are separate from the greater wills influence through his dream self. Probably why Mogh had him cocooned up so he could bypass the greater will and ascend to the throne through him. We’ll find out for sure in the dlc at least.
Miquela’s ability to ward away the outer gods isn’t unique to him, though. The Nox made those tinfoil hats. It has something to do with the purities of metals.
Despite her state and the lameness of the fight, Rennala is apparently one of the most powerful characters in the lore, and her womb is of serious genetic power.
Family B
if this is a NPC slapfest you don't even need to bother saying how broken Malenia is. Godfrey is worse considering he slaps everything in a 5km radius with every attack
Rennala is just a human, Miquella doesn't fight, and we never see Ranni or Godwyn fight, so we can remove them from the fight.
So for Radagon, Rykard, and Radahn vs. Marika, Godfrey, and Malenia. Radagon and Marika are roughly evenly matched, with Marika probably being stronger. Radahn and Miquella are roughly evenly matched, with Radahn being a bit stronger. Idk, close fight.
Ranni is invincible and can one-shot the player, but every time Malenia dies, the Scarlet Rot outer god can potentially blow up an entire part of the Lands Between with a Scarlet Rot nuke. If both factions are in their primes, then this nuke does go off, possibly meaning everyone loses if Ranni isn't invincible against even that. Also, if Radahn is at his peak and doesn't have to seal the stars, he can probably body everyone, but Marika at her peak is probably even stronger than she was when she scarred the Elden Beast.
It’s because of the way it pans out. Felt more like a comedy moment. Especially Seluvis and his creepy little laugh… that whole area is goofy in a pervy sort of way. Even Sellen acknowledges his perviness.
I guess the developers didn't think it was important lore wise to mention who specifically trained Radahn, only that it was an Alabaster, or he went and studied under them. Crystallins are more fricking creepy to me than Onyx Lords. There are a lot of weird/creepy things in Elden Ring.
>Crystallins are more fricking creepy to me than Onyx Lords.
They affirm the notion that glintstone has an alien aliveness to it, transcending cognition/consciousness, which we also see with Lusat and Azur. Almost as though something is staring back. Look at Lusat’s head. Or Astel’s. Dead but not.
Like in real life, everything is, or once was, stardust. All life eventually turns back into soil, and life begins anew. The Crucible similarly falls into this. Everything meets in the end. Causality and Convergence. Seller’s ‘amber of the cosmos’ analogy is quite apt.
I just mean lore wise it's fricking creepy. The outfits are super cool for a magic build, but I find lore wise it's fricked up. There brains like crystalized or some shit and it took over their bodies until they died. They basically were turning into Crystallians or some shit.
The Raya Lucarians are trying to emulate the old sagely wizardly look, especially since they’re all clones of false youth. Not unlike last occult writers who always pretended to be legendary sages. Pseudo-Zoroaster, Pseudo-Ostanes, Pseudo-Solomon, Pseudo-Pythagoras, Pseudo-Hermes, etc.

Why the frick does nobody get this still? Even after Sellen’s whole quest line? All of the Raya Lucarians are bare footed puppets wearing masks of old men to prove their experience. Even Ranni is a puppet.

Maybe that’s why the Erdtree warred with them.
>noooo, you can’t extend youth using glintstone, you must adhere to the golden sap within my parasite tree, nooooooooo

To be fair, reincarnation existed before the Erdtree’s arrival, and we can’t be sure if it’s truly parasitic. The Erdtree grafted itself to the old tree, taking over its nature and monopolizing it for reasons which are mostly inscrutable. Marika’s decision to remove Destined Death could have been her complete and total initiative for all we know.

The "greattree" is a literal mistranslation in the English script. The Japanese text uses the terms "golden tree" and "great tree" interchangeably in regard to the Erdtree. There's even a piece of dialogue in the game where the Finger Reader outside of Leyndell speaks of a great tree that golden light shines down from, and she clearly means the Erdtree. Furthermore, the brown bark the barricade of thorns is made from is still called the Erdtree by the in-game message and by everyone's dialogue.
Lusat and Azur are very clearly the twin sages. It’s a callback to Dark Souls 3 as well, regarding the two big hat sages.
The Twinsages are not Azur and Lusat. Raya Lucaria has painting of all the Conspectus mages, and Azur and Lusat have separate paintings from the Twinsages, who are together in a single painting and clearly don't look like Azur or Lusat.
What’s creepier is that despite being unaware/dead, they’re still responsive, enough to hand you a spell. Almost like they’re only “there” occasionally. Perhaps their minds have left their bodies.
Will we ever learn who the third ancient astrologer was? The one who first saw glintstone rain down? Only the other two primeval sorceries actually mention names.
I just want improved multiplayer features. PVP areas, covenants, multiplayer chalice dungeons with rewards that incentivize multiplayer, a 5-player limit, anything. Easily the most scuffed feature of the base game. The rest of the stuff will be good.

I hope Miquella is cute and funny
I want to hear Marika and Radagon's voices and be able to talk to them. Similar to how we got to talk to Vendrick in the DS2 DLC.
I like that it's focusing on Miquella considering the mysterious surrounding him and how he wasn't even present in the main game.

They'll probably change it in the future patch or something before the DLC. They sorta did the same thing in previous games I recall.

Magic is the best it's ever been in Elden Ring, including sorceries, but I guess they could do with a few more schools. Too many useless spells.
I agree specially when you consider giant incantations but ancient death rancor just melts shit in general faster than everything else.
you just need to be level 300.
Ancient Death Rancor has incredible stun lock capabilities, particularly when you fight a black knife b***h. Explosive Ghostflame, while slow, is also visually fun.
more Ranni
That it isn’t a DLC and a full blown sequel. I’m willing to wait an extra year for it instead of getting an alpha state of what will probably be a frick load of content.
horse riding simulator
I'm expecting some femboy kino and a truely ridiculous amount of new porn for Miquella
Who would win in an all out family war, in one big arena? Assume Marika and Radagon are two separate fighters.
Family A
—Rennala
—Radagon
—Rykard
—Radahn
—Ranni
Family B
—Marika
—Godfrey
—Malenia
—Miquella
—Godwyn
Moon team
Ranni can fricking posses people and Radahn can just throw fricking meteors at you. Rennala technically can't die.
But all the stupid item descriptions and "muh lore" say Miquella is the strongest demigod whatever the frick that means, so who knows.
>Ranni can fricking posses
what?
>It’s clearly implied he’s the most powerful through having some kind of reality altering abilities
what the frick are you talking about
Miquela’s ability to ward away the outer gods isn’t unique to him, though. The Nox made those tinfoil hats. It has something to do with the purities of metals.
it's alchemy. pure gold represents purity of the mind, body and soul so the needle purges impurities from the afflicted.
Rennala outplayed the Erdtree twice and only by appeasing her vegana could peace be brokered. Her and her children stomp.
Despite her state and the lameness of the fight, Rennala is apparently one of the most powerful characters in the lore, and her womb is of serious genetic power.
Family B
if this is a NPC slapfest you don't even need to bother saying how broken Malenia is. Godfrey is worse considering he slaps everything in a 5km radius with every attack
it’s a lore and ‘at their prime’ sort of scenario
Rennala is just a human, Miquella doesn't fight, and we never see Ranni or Godwyn fight, so we can remove them from the fight.
So for Radagon, Rykard, and Radahn vs. Marika, Godfrey, and Malenia. Radagon and Marika are roughly evenly matched, with Marika probably being stronger. Radahn and Miquella are roughly evenly matched, with Radahn being a bit stronger. Idk, close fight.
>Rennala is just a human
So is Godfrey
godfrey was promoted to demigod after marrying Marika
No he was just Elden Lord and a ‘demigod’ by way of reaping the Erdtree’s monopolization-on-life benefits.
he was a demigod, just like the ranni, rykard and radahn became demigods after radagon married marika lol
Only in name. He has no literal demigod blood.
An Elden Lord is clearly above a demigod on the power scale. It goes Empyrean, then Elden Lord, then demigod.
You don’t need to be a demigod to be an Elden Lord, so not necessarily. But not all demigods will be above an Elden Lord either.
family b because they're not intgays
Ranni is invincible and can one-shot the player, but every time Malenia dies, the Scarlet Rot outer god can potentially blow up an entire part of the Lands Between with a Scarlet Rot nuke. If both factions are in their primes, then this nuke does go off, possibly meaning everyone loses if Ranni isn't invincible against even that. Also, if Radahn is at his peak and doesn't have to seal the stars, he can probably body everyone, but Marika at her peak is probably even stronger than she was when she scarred the Elden Beast.
hot femboy on equine penis scenes
If only
Femboy on feral is a rare but based thing
Ranni is the most powerful Empyrean. She one shots you if you attempt to date rape her. Also she 1v1d Adula.
I can’t tell if that whole quest line is supposed to be a joke or not
why? ranni always knew the doll homosexual wanted to rape her but kept him around because he was useful
It’s because of the way it pans out. Felt more like a comedy moment. Especially Seluvis and his creepy little laugh… that whole area is goofy in a pervy sort of way. Even Sellen acknowledges his perviness.
i mean, the dude had a rape dungeon and him going around kidnapping people wasnt that much of a secret
Who the FRICK taught Radahn? I hate how there are no unique or names alabaster/onyx lords in-game. Weird ass race similar to the crystallians.
Tell me this isn't creepy as frick.
It's cool as frick is what it is. If only faith builds could be so stylish
I just mean lore wise it's fricking creepy. The outfits are super cool for a magic build, but I find lore wise it's fricked up. There brains like crystalized or some shit and it took over their bodies until they died. They basically were turning into Crystallians or some shit.
The crystallians have a “faint cognition”, so I’m inclined to think they’re in a similar condition, or further along.
I read one theory that stated the Twinsages might actually be Lusat and Azur, like their souls/spirits/minds reside in them.
Lusat and Azur are very clearly the twin sages. It’s a callback to Dark Souls 3 as well, regarding the two big hat sages.
The Raya Lucarians are trying to emulate the old sagely wizardly look, especially since they’re all clones of false youth. Not unlike last occult writers who always pretended to be legendary sages. Pseudo-Zoroaster, Pseudo-Ostanes, Pseudo-Solomon, Pseudo-Pythagoras, Pseudo-Hermes, etc.
>last
past*
>especially since they’re all clones of false youth
Why the frick does nobody get this still? Even after Sellen’s whole quest line? All of the Raya Lucarians are bare footed puppets wearing masks of old men to prove their experience. Even Ranni is a puppet.
>bare footed
How is that detail thematically relevant, anon? Do you have a fetish you're not telling us about??
Only the other two primeval sorceries actually mention names.
glad Elden Ring let me have my super long/creepy wizard robe. So disappointing playing BG3 and having the robe only go to your thighs
Does anyone care? The game came out like 18 months ago
Dark Souls and Bloodborne are still heavily discussed and talked about to this day.
>Does anyone care?
you are posting in a thread with almost 200 replies anon
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty came out 2+ years after the base game did and people are fine with it. ER will do just fine.
I just want improved multiplayer features. PVP areas, covenants, multiplayer chalice dungeons with rewards that incentivize multiplayer, a 5-player limit, anything. Easily the most scuffed feature of the base game. The rest of the stuff will be good.
It has like 20,000 - 30,000 concurrent players on most days and every single day sees another thread asking where the frick the DLC is. So no, no one cares.
No.
>covenants
Leakers talked about how there's numerous icons for covenants found in the files but somehow From scrapped them from the playable version of the game. Hopefully they're going all out this time.
Are the volcano manor assassinations tied to one of the endings?
no
Thanks
Give me this. It doesn't have to be a lion again but it would be cool if it was a lion again because of godfrey idk man.
I can't wait for the DLC weapons to be complete cancer that make the base game L2 sticks blush in embarrassment
Miquella breasts
Tired of these gay ass knight armor sets. Give me more cool barbarian shit from the Badlands.
I really hope there are a bunch of copypasted dungeons, weapons I'll never use, and excessive bonfires
Gradual restore FP ring...
Just use that restore FP on backstab / riposte talisman.
giant ant queen boss pls
>There is an area that is filled with enormous ants
>The boss is a half dragon thingy instead of a giant ant queen with big breasts
Pretty disappointed
>a giant ant queen with big breasts
would you?
>They completely drop all console support and redesign the game from the ground up with their original vision in mind without having to sacrifice anything for 10 year old console limitations
