Is Postal 2 a prequel to Undertale?
unironically yes
Just like in real life, it's a lot more fun
It's a shame that the developers didn't understood what made this game great and all the sequels sucked
>constantly make fun of Postal 3 for years, to the point where they don't even consider it canon
>make a game that's barely better than it
What a bunch of goofballs
this, Postal 3 is better than 4
design, graphics, characters, soundtrack, crazy guns
>cashgrab
they tried to make something unlike rws
Postal 3 wasnt even official, some russians bought the IP and shat out a cashgrab. RWS dont even admit that 3 ever existed
The protestor and terrorist attacks very much encourage you to use violence
yeah that's what I thought too
I always wanted to do a pacifist postal 2 run for the laffs of it but I was under the impression it bottlenecks you into a couple combat encounters if you try to do that anyway
unironically, "people" like you.
You have it all wrong, the entire point of the game is that it's actively trying to make you go postal, but it's your fault if you do because you could have done everything peacefully if you actually wanted to.
why play a game to do what I can do in real life
>what causes this phenomenon?
it's fun
>postal 2 can be beaten completely peacefully and there is absolutely nothing encouraging players to commit horrific acts of violence
Postal 2 is a better commentary on violence and player choice than Undertale
And MUCH better than Spec Ops
(I knew I was forgetting something)
Nothing. Devs themself said its about doing normal stuff like waiting in line and how long can you do that without going Postal. How many times some butthole was taking forever and you just wanted to beat the shit out of him in real life, this lets you do that.
>Return your library book
>Protestors assault the library and gun everyone down
>Just let yourself get shot lmao
sounds like an average day in america
Why is Map Muzak so comfy?
>buy game
>only experience 50% of game
don't you want to see what else is in there? Any stealth game can be (presumeably) beaten without ever killing anybody, in fact you're probably actively discouraged to kill anybody, yet the game gives you plenty of tools to kill enemies, from magic powers in Dishonoured to heavy weapons like in MGSV.
MGSV is stupid because it gives you a ton of lethal options but if you actually try to use them you severely cripple yourself due to fulton
MGSV is stupid because it takes the "le no kill stealth only" meme to it's most illogical conclusion. There should not be bonuses for non-lethally completing a fricking assassination mission.
the game gives you free recruits if you aren't fultoning people enough
you get worse recruits if your heroism is low, and you get less heroism for going lethal
Yeah, doesn't that make Postal2 stupid too?
Postal 2 doesn't cripple you for being violent
it's the perfect america simulator
>postal 2 can be beaten completely peacefully
I dare you to try it.
>there is absolutely nothing encouraging players to commit horrific acts of violence
Well that's simply wrong.
I know what you're thinking, but the funny thing is, I don't even like video games.
>there is absolutely nothing encouraging players to commit horrific acts of violence
it's much easier to play no-kill once you get an edged weapon and some gasoline
>what causes this phenomenon?
the desire to play the game your own way and the agency Postal 2 gives the player to kill or not kill in any fashion they desire
