It's really good. I loved Postal 2 and its expansions, and they did a really good job of translating its flavor of humor into a traditional shooter. If the rest of the game has the same level of quality as the demo, it's an easy GOTY for me.
i liked it. complaints about the suburbia level being repeative are true, even if that was the point (urban sprawl) but i would just have to hope that won't be so much of a problem in other levels.
Perhaps I didn't understand what it was supposed to be going in, but it's just an FPS? I remember Postal 2 having objectives and a lot of enemies had to be arrgovated before they'd attack. I enjoyed the gameplay, was that all the demo was supposed to showcase or will the whole game be like that?

I never really liked Unreal all that much, but since I own it I should give it another try after I finish some games I'm currently playing through. It took 3 times before Deus Ex became one of my all time favorites so hey, maybe Unreal will too.
I don't think it was technical issues that were bugging me, I might have already did that for the mouse. It just wasn't drawing me in on its own. But, I'll keep that in mind when I try it again and I'll make sure the mouse stuff is patched up. I don't need texture packs though.

feels like the devs had a lot of fun making it.
doesnt really get fun until you get the shotgun imo, but i really enjoyed what i played of it

Download the fan patch 227i to fix the mouse aiming and maybe a texture pack as well.
