Gale Wings was nerfed that hard. The fact of the matter is Unseen Fist needs it. There are three ways to reduce incoming damage, Protect, switching, and Tera. Switching and Tera are extremely limited so Protect is usually your best option. So long as Unseen Fist exists in its current form, Urshifu will be a meta warping Pokemon as anything that can be OHKO'd by it is hard non viable, being dependent on a very limited resource (switching/the once-per-battle gimmick) just to survive.

Interprid Sword and the Terrains were fantastic abilities and they are still very good. Even if they nerf unseen fist it will probably be small like them

Reduced damage on Protect (the suggested change) is a relatively tame change in the first place compared to even what they did to Intrepid Sword, I'm not sure what you have in mind that could be smaller in scope.

I'm starting to think Dark is too powerful as a type. Dark type moves and Pokemon have been running the last few gens.
Dark is almost identical to Ghost offensively. Ghost is mostly considered the more broken of the 2 because most prefer Normal being immune over Fairy resisting your attack. It also helps that dark STAB is fricking broken. Knock Off is one of the most broken moves in the game and Sucker Punch is an amazing priority STAB move to have. Even special dark types don't mind the limited options. Snarl is good support and Dark Pulse is underrated, not enough people talk about how bullshit flinch chance attacks are.
