Pokemon: The Adventure (platformer game, will have a story too, you are a trainer)
Pokemon Rangers remake
Pokemon Masters new main story
Pokemon mystery dungeon: Destruction Dynasty (will have all starters as playable, Pikachu, eevee, all regional meowths and some other new pokemon like wooloo line)
Pokemon x Ace Attorney visual novel game named "An Ace Attorney In a Pokemon World"
Pokemon's next animated movie trailer. New protagonists for it.
No new main series game this year, hence the focus on spin offs
While there may not be a new big game this year, we'll have one in early 2025
The trailer ends with revealing it. Shows an animated trailer focused on bw1 and bw2 story and then shows protagonists and rival of new game picking the Unovan starters. Does not show the protagonists and rivals clearly and at the end, shows a mysterious new pokemon in that game.
I skipped the obvious stuff btw
Is Rhyperior in?
She's in!
>Pokémon x Ace Attorney
That hurt me.
That hurt me more than it should’ve…
I fricking hate you Black folk, why do you always fricking put a Unova game in the posts?
Unova games were CONFIRMED TO JUST BE A RANDOM CHINESE SHITPOST ON A RANDOM CHINESE FORUM
>the dlc being set in unova and having the relatives on unova characters means nothing
yes
you’re slow
>the reference to Unova, a region unheralded in 14 years GUARANTEES a remake this year11111
Remakes are one-a-system, Switch got its remake. Next remake's not happening until the new console.
Good thing switch 2 is coming out this year.
Which means two before Pokémon launches on it, I'm glad you're finally starting to understand. 2028 is Gen 5 remake year.
>we will get a johto even though no one gives a shit about johto because... we just will ok
>no it doesn't matter that nothing points to it its gotta be johto
>no it doesn't matter that nothing points to it
Kitakami.
So an island that has no connection to johto and nothing to do with it in characters or themes does point to johto, but a school explicitly in unova starring relatives if unova characters and exploring themes of bw doesnt point to unova?
It's not an island, you dumb bastard. That's just the shape of the area.
And if you're wrong about that, something easily figured out due to the utter LACK of water features surrounding the area, how the frick can we trust you when you claim your childhood's getting remade next?
My childhood is kanto on gb. I haven't played any game except legends arceus since sm. But I know kitakami has nothing to do with johto
Trying to convince you or me? Because I played Red on launch at 15 and rarely see people 30+ acting like kids over this shit online. Methinks the lady doth protest too much.
If you really WERE in from the start, you'd have realised by this stage they aren't skipping ANY region when it come to remaking and re-remaking their games, because they ALWAYS have 5m+ new sales from kids born AFTER the original/remake got released. Money talks, bullshit walks as always.
>My childhood is kanto on gb
Don't lie, Unovagay. Just because Unova was a shitty bootleg of Kanto doesn't mean you actually played it.
I'm 32 my first pokemon game was red and I got every main game up till usum
You're 17, and you'll be turning 18 in a couple of weeks. You got a DS with Pokemon Black for your 5th Birthday.
I'm 40 and been watching how Game Freak (not the brand, Game Freak themselves) operate since getting back in to the games. A remake comes once every hardware iteration (LGPE was explicitly called a reimagining, despite being a remake of Gen 1 again, indicating they differentiate their shit more autistically than you lot) and in the first Gen on new hardware which comes two years after the system's launch (usually with a kid-friendly model of the system alongside). There's a new system launching this year, which means two before Game Freak release a game for it, two before they even start working on an Unova remake and four before it launches, because they established DLC is year two of a generation, with both SS and SV.
Wtf does Kitakami have to do with Johto besides being Japanese inspired (which half the regions are anyway)
It's Johto coded. Like how Kieran's first two Pokemon are Sentret and Yanma.
>It's [HEADCANON]
Carmine's first Pokemon is a Poochyena does that mean it's Hoenn coded fricking moronic Black person monkey
nta but rotom phone sounds released with kitakami had a johto battle theme you fricking reeking nigress
Okay now try saying that in english
Not that anon, but when taking a picture with the Rotom Phone they added music at the same time as Kitakami that is purely from Johto, including it's battle theme.
You can choose from the HGSS versions of the Pokemon March, Pokemon Lullaby and the Johto Battle theme. You are a black female.
Source?
play the game
https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Rotom_Phone#Music
Okay Anon very well you managed to draw one unquestionable parallel to Johto
What about everything else. What does Momotaro but role-swapped have to do with Johto. What do apple orchards and candy apples have to do with Johto. What do ogre mountains have to do with Johto. What do Tera Crystals have to with Johto. Where's the Kimono Girls, where's the Apricots, where's the two Towers, where's the legendary dogs, where's literally everything else?
in the remakes
>What do apple orchards and candy apples have to do with Johto.
Johto is the traditional Japanese region, candy apples are festival food.
>What do ogre mountains have to do with Johto
The ogre stuff is because of influence from another region.
>What do Tera Crystals have to with Johto.
A gimmick if Johto doesn't get a BDSP tier game
>Where's the Kimono Girls,
All of the Kimonos in Kitakami
>where's the Apricots
All of the Apricot balls in SV.
>where's the two Towers,
Johto isn't America
>where's the legendary dogs
The paradox versions.
>Johto is the traditional Japanese region, candy apples are festival food.
Not an argument
>The ogre stuff is because of influence from another region.
Wtf does this even mean?
>A gimmick if Johto doesn't get a BDSP tier game
Not an argument
>All of the Kimonos in Kitakami
Jinbeis aren't Kimonos
>All of the Apricot balls in SV.
Which you get mostly from a gacha machine in BB?
>Johto isn't America
Not an argument
>The paradox versions.
Which you get in Area Zero like another unrelated paradox legendary trio
Plausible headcanon but headcanon nonetheless
>Not an argument
Rebunked. It is Johto themed.
>Wtf does this even mean?
Regional ogre stuff from outside influence doesn't mean that it's not a Johto coded region.
>Not an argument
Rebunked. Remember when ORAS retconned Mega Pokemon?
>Jinbeis aren't Kimonos
They're basically the same, and are part of the same culture.
>Which you get mostly from a gacha machine in BB?
It's still all of the Apricot balls. Prepping for Johto.
>Not an argument
Rebunked. Unless you think that the only place that's truly Johto is Ecruteak.
>Which you get in Area Zero like another unrelated paradox legendary trio
Still the Johto Legendary trio.
>Rebunked. It is Johto themed.
Sure when you ignore everything that has frick all to do with Johto (so the location, geography and entire fricking folklore)
>Regional ogre stuff from outside influence doesn't mean that it's not a Johto coded region.
Do you have any idea how little sense you're making? "No this doesn't count because it just doesn't" ???
>Rebunked. Remember when ORAS retconned Mega Pokemon?
I also remember when Legends Arceus and BDSP kept Dynamax and how LGPE had Z moves
>They're basically the same, and are part of the same culture.
So if Kitakami was, say, sumo themed and everyone ran around semi naked except for a traditional mawashi then that's the same thing as a kimono because they're from the same place? Are you actually brain-dead?
>It's still all of the Apricot balls. Prepping for Johto.
There's been Apricorn balls in nearly every game. SM had them, Swooshie had them, SV keeping them means nothing for a potential remake
>Rebunked. Unless you think that the only place that's truly Johto is Ecruteak.
Let's just not include any mention whatsoever of the most famous Johto landmark in a region that, according to you, is a Johto reference in itself
>Still the Johto Legendary trio.
Still the Swords of Justice
>location, geography, folklore
They’re all similar. Plus, we’re talking about the culture, which is based on the exact same one.
>rambling
All he meant to say was that “new stuff is there lol” doesn’t equate to it not being a retread of previous places on other fronts.
>regional gimmicks
Megas and Teras are not explicitly locked to one region, so no
>muh sumo
No one said jinbei=kimono. They’re just from the same culture and thus it is a reference to Johto.
>every game had them
Not like this
>NOOO THEY MUST REFERENCE SPECIFIC BUILDINGS FOR IT TO COUNT
Stop being an autist
>Still the swords of justice
Doesn’t mean the legendary beasts stop existing. Both remakes coming soon. Cope and seethe.
>location, geography, folklore
>They’re all similar.
Now I'm convinced you're trolling
>location
Kitakami is a rural town in the middle of bumfrick nowhere and its only connection to the outside world is a singular road.
>geography
Ah yes the giant demon mountain in the middle of the region just like in Johto. Or the tera crystal lake who could forget that. The forest straight out of PLA. There's one proper town.
>folklore
I swear Pecharunt and the Loyal Three were the best fricking thing to happen to Kitakami because you tell me what their culture was before that besides being racist. There's fricking nothing.
>being a retread of previous places on other fronts.
Again how so? Without having yet another schizophrenic episode
>regional gimmicks
They're whatever GF wants them to be, don't kid yourself. They can just as easily explain <insert gimmick here> not being in <insert region here> because of <ass pull>. There's no reason why Z moves would be locked to Alola, for instance
>They’re just from the same culture and thus it is a reference to Johto.
Bull fricking shit. Johto is not the only Japanese region. Most regions are in fact inspired by Japan. They can be a Kanto reference just as easily. You had Erika in there, for example.
>Not like this
Not like this how? A gacha machine? Like the Cramorant thing in Isle of Armor? moron
>Stop being an autist
Not an argument
>Cope and seethe.
Well at least you know what to do
>I swear Pecharunt and the Loyal Three were the best fricking thing to happen to Kitakami
Sure wonder who's behind this post
he's right though
Okay Okidogi
>Johto is the traditional Japanese region, candy apples are festival food.
Not in the region Johto's based off though. The apple festival's in a rural region, the one Kitakami's based off.
Pecharunt's "parents" are probably from Johto, looking at their house and the background trees in the story, it looked like ecruteak.
https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Rotom_Phone
that would be awesome im not gonna lie i would shit myself if they did a new rangers game i really should replay those sometime soon but they're hard to emulate
>Pokemon x Ace Attorney visual novel game named "An Ace Attorney In a Pokemon World"
That sounds like it'd be total shit and I still want it desperately. Being an Ace Attorney fan these days is suffering.
Boomergay?
>gamefreak already blew their load with traditional Japan with emphasis on festivals myths and folklore and unova references in the dlc
Kalos confirmed
Kalos is already 3D, it'll just get an AI upscaled HD remaster.
