Either way, Thomyris left Sargon with Anahita because she knew Anahita was loyal to her and then adopted Ghassan so that if he was assassinated like the other two her real son would still live. Thomyris is characterized by being most concerned with preserving her legacy as a powerful queen, so having a secret heir would preserve her legacy even in the face of assassinations.
I really liked the game, but God dammit, Ubisoft can't control themselves. The map is way too big for how slow your moments are, and a lot of the treasure is just junk. I didn't like hunting for that one fuxking chest just for it to be frickings money. The map needs to be trimmed of some fat and movement speed needs to be increased, or at least give you a late game ability that makes you move super fricking fast.

See I read that note too but didnt bother to do all the puzzles to reach the workshop or 100% it so I was guessing there was more to it. The implication about the birth swap seems to imply sargon is her true son but it doesnt change anything or explain why she did it in the first place. Varham still the true prince by blood so this small twist changes nothing??? Perhaps 100%ing gives a clearer answer.
I seriously hope they add more platforming challenges as dlc or future updates. Those hard platforming challenges by the end were pretty fun.
