Sands of Time was being remastered but the trailer looked bad and they delayed it after the backlash. Come to think of it it's been a long time since, where the frick is that remaster?
>Baby tier difficulty >Repetitive & blatantly padded >Ameritard protagonists >Bonus: Subpar PC port
To be honest, I kinda liked it...if you go in with the right expectations it's kinda fun. But it's clearly aimed at filthy casuals. And the dialogue is painful to listen to (hipster speak)
In dev hell after it was taken away from the Indian studio
The Indian version kinda looked like shit, but at least there was a chance it would be faithful narratively. I bet my ass RN with the Western revision they're struggling to figure out how to make it as woke as humanly possible while still being able to sell it, just like BG&E2...but since ESG funding is drying up, my money is on either:
A. Both games get cancelled
B. They end up like DNF overhyping and underdelivering
I seriously hope it's scenario A, I can't be the only one hoping to see finally see Ubishit go down in flames
Is this forever stuck in 30fps even on PC? I remember getting it for free on Origin years ago.
Ubi I mean. But no, apparently not. You can run it at screen refresh with hacks. I should try it again.
On my PC it was a smooth 60FPS, no hacks required. I had to enable VSync since at least on Win10 Freesync doesn't work correctly with this game, but otherwise on a modern system you should absolutely be able to run it even higher

Yeah I should be good to go. I'm on an XTX and a Ryzen 9. My problem is usually that it can run things just a little TOO well. I remember this game mostly as harmless fun and looking nice on 360. Weirdly I have the hardcover artbook for it. EB Games were flogging them cheap for literally five bucks. Might have been 8. Something like that.
i replayed sands of time, warrior within, and thwo thrones about 3 months ago they jold up weill i enjoyed them so much took me back to that early mid 2000s havent played pop 2008 since its launch i will have to play it again soon. shout ouy to the end credits so g for sands of time such nostalgia.
>"Die" in a bossfight >Boss goes back to full health
That's just reloading from checkpoint >"Die" from falling to a pit >"Respawn" at the nearest safe spot you've been on
That's also just reloading from a checkpoint. You could make the argument that those checkpoints are too often and I'd agree. IIRC there was a platforming gauntlet late game where if you messed up at any point you'd have to redo it all. I'd have like more of those.
Black folk complain about the character not literally dying everytime you have to go to the last checkpoint, even though it makes the experience much more dynamic, and the mechanic of Elika saving the Prince actually coming into play in the narrative in a satisfactory way during one of the Concubine fights
they tried to divest from their spiritual successor assassins creed
ironically assassins creed has diverged completely on its own leaving PoP free to come back as a more linear assassins creed with a better story
Did Fallen King ever finish the story or did it just leave the 2008 timeline on a cliffhanger we never got to see resolved? If the latter, that's a shame cause I actually kinda felt invested in 2008's story after getting my closure with Two Thrones' definitive conclusion.
Cool art style but there are few enemies and no sense of progression, it is a collectaton like banjo & kazooie, you collect shits and unlocks new palces to collect more shit until you get to the last boss. The fight is neat but the ending is very lame.
It wasn't bad it was just not as good as the Sands of Time games. It felt like a big step back in almost every way except visual. Elika was peak Persian waifu though.
No, this game was great. SandBlack folk need a shitty button mashing combat and muh timesand stuff in their gameplay to play PoP.
Funnily enough, this was the only game that actually had something to do with Persia in its title unlike Sand games.
It was fun game, but people in general don't give a shit about prince of persia
>people
You mean americans
So I'm the only American that likes Prince of Persia? Grim.
The traversal was fun, but was basically turned into a rhythm game. Combat was maybe the worst I’ve played. Great atmosphere though.
Is Prince of Persia still even a thing?
I haven't seen or played anything of the series since the Gamecube days.
>he doesn't know
Lol, no I don't.
Again, I haven't payed attention to it since >Gamecube

They are probably redoing all the characters designs to look like american Black folk because thats what persians look like
Actual persians are practically white

Sorry, chud, games where quirky guy flirts with beutiful and actually strong woman non-stop and she flirts back are not really allowed anymore
go outside dude
Only problem with this game is that it plays by itself. But it was alright, pretty chill game
>it plays by itself
It literally doesn't.
you platform your way to the boss, can't die, not even in the boss fights. that's it

I wish they actually made the fricking DLC for this game. Ending was such a shit cliffhanger.
There is DLC and somewhat a """sequel""", pop: the fallen king(Nintendo DS 2d platformer)

unironically filtered
I hate how youhad to go back and pick up cumglobes in areas you already completed. Also i hate the combat system
